Came for the dinosaur water ”theme park”, 20rm per adult/kid regardless hotel guests or not. The pool consists of 3pools with plenty of fun floats free to use.
Maintenance is ok, could be better, algae growing on stairs leading up to slides.
But overall kids enjoyed themselves.
Staff were also accommodating, requested early check-in bc we wanted to access the pool early. But was told only 3pm available, but we could still head up to the pool. Since it's open to public too. But when we headed down after our time at the pool at about 1pm to drop off our luggage pre-checkin to head out, asked again if we could checkin early and this time and different staff assisting happily checked us in.
Pool shower rooms in Tower 2 is satisfactorily clean! We opted to use that instead of the shower rooms available in the dinosaur park.
Our 1single +1 queen bed met our needs for our 1 night stay. Room seems to be thoroughly cleaned regularly. We made some shifts to the bed and found the floor under the beds to be dust free.
Housekeeping staff were the most pleasant to engage with, very happy to supply our needs for more towel or bottled water.

The staff at reception were friendly and assisted us to arrange for adjacent rooms side by side. However the bathroom is slightly old. The toilet bowl is shaky and no hot water/heater in one of the bathtubs. Nevertheless, the location of the hotel is ideal for guests who want to do car wash and shopping af KSL.
It has been a while that I last came across a hotel that is value for money. KSL Hot Spring Resort is well priced and offers me all the comfort that I am looking for. The hotel is clean and staffs are very friendly. Furthermore, they even saved me the hassle from bringing a travel baby cot for my young one, by suppling me one during the day. I will definitely considering coming back if I’m visiting JB again on my next trip

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. I really liked the shower head — it’s powerful, just like getting a massage while showering!
Breakfast was excellent and so filling that I couldn’t eat another bite.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I’ll definitely book here again if I come back.

Around the hotel have a few restaurants. Is just a 3 mins walk. Hotel has internal swimming pool.
There’s also a mini mart and body massage shop. Take a 25 mins walk can reach KSL shopping mall.

Good day to you, I would like to feedback on the service done by check in counter done on 24 Nov 2025. I had stayed in Amari Johor Bahru Hotel on 23 Nov with my family for my kids birthday celebration.
Complaint:
Everything was good except for one issue. On 24 Nov morning, I had left my room card key inside room 1811 so I decided to go down check in counter to request for spare card key to access my room. One of your staff passed me a spare room card key at counter in counter. I collected and went up to scan the spare room key but unable to access with multiple attempts. In the end, I had to decide make the trouble again to go back check in counter to redo the spare card. Luckily, housekeeping attendant, Shahin was around. He saw the incident and assisted me with his help.
Compliment:
• Shahin (Housekeeping attendant) was attentive on my case and meticulous in his housekeeping especially keeping rooms are clean and tidy.
• Kamal (Security guard) was very friendly and attentive. He welcomed us with a great smile and helped us to press lift for access.
Please look into this feedback issues and try to rectify to prevent this problem from arising again. On the other hand, please send my compliments to the two staffs, Shahin and Kamal for their wonderful job done. Thanks and regards

I had a wonderful stay at Granada Hotel Johor. The location is excellent – right in Bukit Indah, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step in.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, perfect for both leisure and business stays. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the attention to detail in cleanliness and amenities provided.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was far from seamless.
Check-in Process:
Our experience started off on a less-than-ideal note when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. Upon reaching the hotel, we found a long queue at the lifts, with only three lifts serving guests. The remaining lifts were dedicated to carpark access, so we had to wait for around 15 minutes before being able to head up to our room.
At 2:30pm, we approached the main check-in counter, only to find a significant queue of over 10 groups waiting at each counter. It was evident that the hotel was handling a large volume of guests at the time.
We had booked a 2-Bedroom Suite and were eligible for Priority Exclusive Check-in at the Level 29 Executive Lounge, which we thought would be a faster process. Unfortunately, there was only one check-in counter open, and just one staff member attending to all guests. This led to more waiting and left us feeling frustrated, especially given the hotel’s reputation for premium service.
Parking Issues:
To add to the inconvenience, the hotel’s carpark was completely full when we arrived. We were redirected to a nearby building for parking, which required a 5–10 minute walk back to the hotel. Given that we were traveling with an infant and had a lot of luggage, this was quite inconvenient. After realizing how difficult this was going to be, my family decided to make a detour back to the hotel carpark. We explained the situation to the security guard at the entrance, and thankfully, he allowed us to enter the carpark. He then directed us to wait for a spot to free up, which we did, and eventually found parking. While this solution worked out in the end, it was still a hassle and not something we expected from a hotel of this standard.
Luggage Assistance:
Another disappointing aspect was that nobody offered to assist us with our luggage upon arrival. With an infant in tow, we were carrying several bags, a stroller, and other necessities. Having no assistance in getting our things inside was inconvenient and felt like a basic expectation from a hotel of this caliber.
Service & First Impressions:
Service and first impressions are crucial when you arrive at a hotel, especially one with a reputation like DoubleTree. Unfortunately, this is where our experience really faltered. The lack of assistance with luggage, the long waits, and the overall lack of attention to guest needs made us feel more like an afterthought than valued guests. When you’re paying a premium for a hotel experience, these basic services should be a given. Had we known the service level would be this underwhelming, we might have considered a lower-priced option where expectations were more in line with what was actually delivered.
Room Availability:
Despite arriving at 2:30pm, our room was not ready until 3:45pm, well past the official check-in time of 3pm. As we were traveling with an infant, this delay was especially inconvenient and challenging. It’s disappointing when a reputable hotel can’t meet its advertised check-in time, particularly when you’ve paid a premium for a higher-category room.
Room Experience:
Once we finally got to the room, we found it spacious and comfortable. The hotel had made a lovely gesture by providing a complimentary birthday cake as requested, which was a thoughtful touch. However, the room did show signs of wear and aging. Some areas appeared to be in need of maintenance, and it didn’t feel as fresh or well-kept as we had expected from a hotel of this caliber.
Breakfast & Executive Lounge Staff:
One positive highlight of our stay was the excellent service provided by one of the Executive Lounge staff members. I had approached the team to request an adjustment to our breakfast arrangement — as our booking included 2 breakfasts per day for 2 days (a total of 4 breakfasts), but since we were checking out earlier, we hoped to enjoy all breakfasts on the first
For around 200rm a night, I get a decent room with a king bed, nice view, hot shower and a decent buffet breakfast for 2.
They have a gym, pool and facilities like the bowling, squash, table tennis etc.
Location is a bit far from everywhere but easy to go around johor with Grab.
Nothing to complain about.
I WILL stay again no doubt.

TteeheeheeIt's about a 20-30min car ride away from checkpoint. When I stepped into the place to check-in at night, it looked really big and grand.
Very peaceful location with nothing much around - good to chill and relax. Feels like the equivalent of sentosa cove area in SG.
Room is big and generally well maintained. There's a few ants in the kitchenette so that part needs improvement. Bed is super comfy.
Bfast buffet included. There's a variety of food but tastewise it's decent, some hit and misses.
Gym is well-equipped, pool is partially sheltered and clean - so rain or shine it's all good.
Our package comes with one time free lounge usage from 10am to 5pm but there was nothing much. I will not pay extra for it. There was no one manning the place. The small lounge area comes with coffee machine, a few snacks that went stale, and bottled fruit juice that tasted very artificial.
Apart from above, all staffs we encountered were great and polite. Overall, great place to stay in, value-for-money.

OOlive erThe hotel is old but well taken care. The check in and check out process needs to be improved, took too long.
The breakfast charge is over priced. I paid Rm50.88 per meal for my 7 year old kid. And the breakfast varieties are very normal, very limited choices.
The environment to eat is also very messy, people queue up for 10-15mins just to get the omelettes. Probably due to long holidays, it’s hard to find a table to sit down and eat. Shortage of workers to clean the table and to clean the room too. Our room only managed to be clean at 5pm.
The room is clean, the staff are friendly to help. We enjoy the beach and the pool, the pool is very friendly for kids.
The hotel also provides many other activities.
NNORFARINAOverall, the experience was good plus nearby seaside give this property a bonus.Elderly friendly as me travel with my wheelchair mum.It just the quality of breakfast can be better in future.Friedly and helpful staff.Thank you.Recommended to others.
HHcWong5051Good value resorts , you get good spread of breakfast and access to connecting beach, mini bird spot , mini water park to spend a good day. Biggest kudos and truly grateful to water park teams that helped me find my lost glasses at water park after 30min or more of searching ,
Honest reviews on the minus points
1. Facilities and amenities are not the best condition and design are outdated , aircon in the master room did not function well it was not cold at all so we had to rely on aircon from living (which is super cold) - I didn’t bother to call front desk as it was late when I realized.
2. Second room key stopped functioning in the morning of day we checked out, and still not functioned even after we had activated it at front desk . We waited 20min for maintenance guy to come and open the door for us
3. Lift maintenance without notice
On check out day, nearest lift was put in maintenance without notice on each floor. we waited 10min for lift , finally opted to walk down stairs from 3rd floor with all of our luggage , then only we noticed maintenance work on going.
4. Food at Rhu Seafood is …. Below average. Not sure why it gets pretty decent reviews on trip an Google. Tried seafood tomyum, spring onion fish fillet, butter chicken and kangkung belacan , only butter chicken is still decent good. Chrysanthemum tea and Thai milk tea are horrible too..
MM2ca5tgx8****Everything was great – the room, facilities, and food were all well worth the price. The service, in particular, made us feel right at home. Just a heads-up: when you book through Trip.com, the room rate already includes taxes. Make sure to check your bill at checkout, because if you don't ask, the hotel will automatically add the tax again, which is 10 yuan per night.
DDavidcheeklFor around 200rm a night, I get a decent room with a king bed, nice view, hot shower and a decent buffet breakfast for 2.
They have a gym, pool and facilities like the bowling, squash, table tennis etc.

I WILL stay again no doubt.
FFina-chanA family-friendly hotel with variety of amenities and activities available. With direct access to the adventure waterpark at level 1 of the hotel, multiple entry to the waterpark is allowed within the day. Do expect to wait 15-30mins to enter the waterpark as it gets crowded over the weekends.
Complimentary breakfast was provided. A decent spread for kids as well (cereal, mini pancakes, roti canai etc). I'd recommend to go between 7-8.30am to avoid crowds as it gets busy after 8.30am and you will expect a queue before you are seated.
Do catch the live band between 8.30-11pm while enjoying some drinks. The perfect way to wind down after a long day.
Drop off the kids at the Roxity Kids Club for some ”me-time”. Do check if your room booking includes complimentary access (1hr per kid). If it does and you intend to drop the kids off on the last day of your trip, drop them off first before checking out. Else the system will not be able to retrieve your booking and you will have to pay 35RM for 1hr play. Socks are required for kids to enter. Alternatively, you can purchase a pair at 5RM over the counter.
Do check out the coffee bar right next to the gym. A relaxing ambience with variety of selection on the menu.
There is also a swimming pool on level 3 and kids waterplay area on level 1, right outside of Roxity Kids Club. A souvenir shop is also available on level 3 near the reception area and a toys & candy shop on level 1.
Other activities available on the facility is the huge chess board and archery.
