Overall - an absolutely magical experience, like stepping into a fairytale, we absolutely LOVED our stay here, it was such an unforgettable experience! Breakfast with the giraffes was absolutely incredible, such a unique and surreal experience! One tip: if you want a table right by the window, make sure to arrive BEFORE 6:30 AM or LATER around 9:00–9:30 AM when it gets less crowded. The breakfast buffet was very good with an amazing variety of delicious food to suit every taste. You can also visit the restaurant during specific hours for lunch and dinner. During dinner, we enjoyed a wonderful live show with music and performers. And if you miss the restaurant's serving hours, there are other dining options around the resort. The entire hotel and wildlife park are beautiful and so much fun to explore! You can get around on foot or use the convenient shuttle service. There are so many different animals to see, along with plenty of interactive experiences. We especially loved the area with the adorable little budgies absolutely everywhere 🦜 Lemurs roam freely around the grounds and there are butterflies and dragonflies everywhere. It feels like a little paradise, full of life and harmony with nature. The hotel itself was also wonderful and very clean. Our room had a jacuzzi and we were welcomed with lots of lovely edible gifts. At check-out, we even received a cute little plush giraffe as a souvenir! Very thoughtful touches! The staff were absolutely amazing – incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. They assisted us with our luggage and patiently answered all our questions. A very special thank you to our concierge Liang, who was always available on WeChat, responded almost instantly, and helped us with absolutely everything. We really appreciated his kindness and excellent service. Another nice little bonus: each guest receives a free QR code to collect a complimentary bag of carrots to feed the animals. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: We noticed that the owls appeared to be tethered (?) and remained in the same spot which was quite sad to see. We really hope their welfare is being carefully considered. Also I personally think the experience would be even more magical without the music playing through speakers around the wildlife park. In such a beautiful natural environment, it would be wonderful to simply enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. I also wonder whether the constant music might be stressful for some of the animals. Apart from these small concerns, we truly had an amazing time! The whole place feels like a dream, and you can see how much thought has gone into creating a special experience for guests. Having just stayed here this past August for the summer holiday, and returning for a 3-night stay again for the National Day holiday less than two months later, that pretty much says it all. For domestic vacation destinations, InterContinental (洲际) is definitely one of the very few hotels—certainly fewer than three—that I would visit repeatedly within a short period. The hardware and scenery are simply flawless. As soon as Emily, the butler who took care of me last time, learned I was coming back for National Day, she arranged a room upgrade for one of the nights so I wouldn't have to pack up and switch rooms. Then, on the day of arrival, our lovely butler Landy had a bellhop waiting in the underground parking garage bright and early to help unload our luggage. She also recommended the complimentary hotel hiking tour. Climbing up to the hidden cave was a huge hit with the kids. The Freedom Island Tea Bar is open now too, perfect for anyone who loves to slow down and unwind. We stayed in the family lake-view room again, which comfortably accommodates four. Located well away from the central lake area, the hotel is wonderfully tranquil. There are no tourists wandering along the lakeshore, and far from the city's light pollution, we managed to catch sight of the Milky Way in East China's night sky once again, just like we did in August. The buffet dinner, the fish head soup at the Chinese restaurant, the breakfast—the quality and service were top-notch across the board. Even with the hotel fully booked, you could order noodles via your phone, and the waitstaff proactively asked about coffee preferences. That’s classic InterContinental standard right there. Our butler Landy checked in on us with genuine care from the very first moment we arrived, and even helped us secure a one-hour late checkout on our final day, letting us sleep in and leisurely pack our bags without having to rush.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and patient. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and room service was always prompt. The robot delivery service was a convenient touch. The prices are very reasonable with no hidden fees, making it perfect for business travelers, couples, or short getaways. If you're staying in Jinhua,四季逸境 (Siji Yijing) is definitely the place to be – you won't be disappointed!

From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds. What followed was unforgettable. We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive. Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself. At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky. To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below. Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey. A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience. Simply unforgettable.

This guesthouse has so much character! The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design. The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

My parents have mobility issues and are elderly, so we booked a villa. It had underfloor heating and air conditioning, but their sleeping room was upstairs, which was a bit inconvenient for them as they had to climb stairs. There was a hot spring pool in the courtyard, and the butler even lit a bonfire and set out candles. The butler service was excellent; they responded immediately when called upon in the group chat. They also provided shuttle service to a nearby Tujia restaurant, which was very thoughtful. The scenery around the hotel was beautiful, but the nearby amusement park was a bit noisy. They offered complimentary afternoon tea every day 👍. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, and the bathroom facilities weren't as spacious or convenient as the hotel's. Overall, we were satisfied; the service and scenery were good. The restaurant's dinner was delicious, specializing in fine dining, but the portions were a bit small. For a large family, the fried rice we ordered was only enough for five people, so we ordered another serving. We ate two dinners, ordering different dishes, and none of them were bad; everything tasted great, and we were very satisfied. It would be best if future meals offered small, medium, and large portion sizes so that different groups could choose the appropriate portion. Overall, we were very satisfied and recommend it. The housekeeper said they're opening a new store this year, which won't be as noisy as this place. I'm looking forward to it.

The breakfast selection was extensive, catering well to both seniors and children. The scallion oil noodles, pickled vegetable rice noodles, and tomato and egg noodles were all delicious. The two 1.5-meter large beds were very convenient for traveling with seniors, allowing them to sleep comfortably. However, the room had a few unwelcome guests (insects), which was a bit distressing for us as we're afraid of bugs. The cleanliness could definitely be improved. The window in the room at the end of the hallway had an obstructed view, which should have been mentioned upon check-in. My parents didn't want the hassle of changing rooms, so they didn't.

The room was spacious and very clean! The location is excellent, this being my second business trip to Hangzhou. You can see the Qiantang River from the hotel, and even catch a glimpse of West Lake in the distance. It feels great to be staying up in the clouds.

Looking for a short getaway near Hangzhou, we booked Club Med Longwu for the National Day holiday, and the tea plantation scenery is absolutely stunning! We booked a room with breakfast included, and the breakfast quality was excellent. The GOs (Gentle Organizers) were enthusiastic and energetic, there were plenty of activities in the resort, and the evening show was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean, and the service remained great even during the holidays. A walk through the tea fields was very therapeutic, making it perfect for a family short break.
