A very friendly welcome from the staff on reception, very efficient check in. The hotel is in a pretty good location for exploring central Sheffield. Rooms are basic and the hotel a little dated but that is expected at this price point. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough for a short stay.

Came here from London as d stared the night very clean and tidy and staff helpful the facilities is basic but has everything U would need from the easy group 10/10

20 mins walk from the train station to the hotel which seems far but your only like 10 mins walk to the centre of most things. It doesn’t look and feel like a 2 star hotel it’s so much better . Would recommend here if you don’t mind the walk.No hairdryer but you can asked for one at the reception. Small table and stool in room .There’s a kettle with tea & coffee . Air con was fab .

So after reading other reviews I was a little unsure what to expect after booking this hotel to be honest, however we were pleasantly surprised. We had a double room on the 7th floor which was very roomy, extremely comfortable king size bed, clean and tidy with everything needed (towels, kettle, iron, hairdryer) ample size bathroom which needed a little TLC but again was clean and tidy. Admittedly the let down was the breakfast that was included in the booking, this needs some attention as the food quality isn’t great and defo needs to be warmer with some more choice but all in all, did the job. Last time we stayed in Sheffield we at another hotel that had rooms like rabbit hutches and no windows and this hotel was better and will stay here again for a weekend when we are next in Sheffield

Booked in for a conference stay , room was ok and met my needs , The room was very clean and very large . The reception staff were especially helpful , the restaurant breakfast was good and the staff again were excellent. I do have a couple of small negatives for me and that was the restaurant in the evening ,I had intended to eat out but the weather was not good so chose to eat in , it seemed a soulless place very dark although the food was ok if I had been there multiple nights I would not have gone back for a 2nd night. The other is the conference catering, but that could have been specified by the Conference Organiser

From the moment I arrived on a very wet Wednesday night I was greeted by very friendly staff on Reception who processed my checkin really fast and pointed me in the direction of my room. The room was clean and well presented. For a budget hotel this hotel is great value.

The Rutland Hotel is conveniently located near to the University of Sheffield. Single rooms are not the best however double room are quite nice having a traditional feeling. However both kind of rooms are newly decorated so the rooms and bathrooms are quite nice. The breakfast is good as they prepare made to order eggs, hash browns,mushrooms and tomatos. Overall I like it and will plan to stay again.

為了去達西莊園去的謝菲爾德。從林肯過去方便的。火車一個半小時。就是從火車站走過去，一路上坡提着心裏是有點累的。不過退房後來去坐火車下坡倒是方便。雷迪森酒店出門右轉一直往下就是步行街商業街，還比較熱鬧的。酒店正對面就是和平廣場裏面有噴泉，對面是市政廳建築比較漂亮。玻璃物的冬季花園也在和平廣場邊上。錯了這幾個酒店這家早餐算是最好的品種稍微多一點。不過也大同小異。

Lovely hotel with easy access to the city and an incredible buffet breakfast. Close to restaurants and public transport. We loved the indoor pool!

Mistake...😞 I made a mistake booking here (I can't call it a hotel). NOT SAFE. NOT CLEAN and the list is long. Its a place of some sort. Even a bad student accommodation used to be better and safer. I am unable recommend this ”place” or any part of it and that's a very rare thing. Horrible stay and nothing to report back that's positive😞 SAFETY: I came back to my room on the second night, and my room door was open. Domestics had been in whilst I was out and left the room open, and it remained open until my return at night time. I reported to reception, and all he was able to say is, ”I am sorry about that”. Cleanliness: Poor Services (of any sort): non existent (the restaurant/gym etc have been closed years apparently. Hot water: hit and miss Noise: very noisy. Quality of the room: Poor Radiator: does not work in the rooms (all the rooms as they admitted the next day). When I checked in i was told the radiator would come on at some point but it never did. A temporary electric heater was in the room when I checked in and I was told to use it until the radiator is switched on from the mains. Needless to say the radiator never came on and the electric heater was actually in the room because the radiator was never going to come on. That's why the electric fan radiator was already in the room at check in. Carpet: not clean Curtains dirty and about to fall off. Walls:very thin and noise all night. Toilet seat: cover broken Shower drain: was blocked.

When I arrived at this hotel the 2 staff behind the counter were having an important discussion but politely acknowledged me saying they wouldn't be a moment. However check in was not until 3pm but they let me leave my luggage in their storage area so I could go for a wander in the city. When I returned I was checked in promptly by the gentleman behind the desk and found I had a room on the top floor. However one minor mishap that happened was when I entered my room, a really bad odour hit my nose and then I noticed a wet patch on the carpet. I went back to the reception to report and the young lady (who had long black hair and wore glasses) was very efficient in coming up with me so I could show her in person what the problem was. She did sincerely apologise and thankfully there was an engineer in the building who would promptly get on with fixing it. As for me I got moved to another room and I completely forgot to ask for a desk fan as it was a warm day. So I went back down to reception and asked the same young lady for it who was extremely helpful in getting one organised for me. I even thanked her and complimented her helpfulness There is a good chance I will visit Sheffield again in the future, but if I do I will certainly stay here at this hotel because of how well organised the staff are when it comes to doing their job in keeping customers happy.

Had a fantastic stay for a birthday treat. My self and my friend stayed in a mezzanine suite and it was perfect!! We were greeted by Ella at reception, she was really friendly and helpful. After checking in we nipped to the bar for a quick drink before going out for our meal and the team member on the bar (sorry I didn't get his name) was again really friendly. The room was clean and spacious! The location of the hotel is fantastic.But the main thing for me was the customer service. Each team member we encountered was polite and welcoming. We will definitely be back soon!!

IHG's vary from diabolical to very good. This was a one night quick stopover, and we found it to be clean, with a comfy bed and the usual basics for breakfast. Unfortunately upon arrival, we were informed that the lifts weren't operational, and we were on the top floor. As a disabled customer this wasn't an option so the receptionist found a ground floor room, which was adequate. The heating was not working so we were very cold but hey ho. It was just one night and as IHG's go, this was better than others. Would use again as it was £54 ,including brekkie

Nice hotel , great location however the communication between staff was poor and I was informed I could have late check out however when arriving I was informed I could not have late check out. Noisy if your on the street side as bars open till late however the hotel supply you with ear plugs which doesn’t make a different. Cleaners were cleaning other rooms above me early in the monring which disrupted me even more. Nice hotel but many problems

WE HAD A FRIDGE The toilet sit had some soap smudge on it and initially thought is something else but if foamed when tried to clean it (I always have sanitizer with me as is only human to miss a spot and do a mistake. Didn't kill me cleaning that myself. Housekeeping job ain't easy. Bless you all. Just keep a better eye to avoid Karen type❤️) The receptionists were all friendly and happy to assist me with both check in and check out. We absolutely loved our room and the view was magnificent. The dawn was heavenly seen from our window❤️ What I loved the most was the fact that in the room we had a FRIDGE. Many hotels don't have that anymore and imagine having a room without a fridge with this heatwave going on 🥵 I will attach a photo with our beautiful view🤩 This hotel will be my top choice whenever I'll need a room around the area. Clean room, clean hallway, clean reception area. Please keep an eye for the accessible rooms. Read all description and detail before booking as they have special rooms for people with a health condition and the room will have some things at a low level to the ground. Will be your fault for not choosing the right room not the hotel's as you need to read description always. Don't take it out to the staff for your own mistake😊 Seen a lot complaining about that, as I've seen also about the rooms accessible and didn't understand the term initially, until I went through the details. After reading the details I knew exactly what room I need to book and what would not be convenient for me🙌 Bless you all and hope this review will be of help to some of you at least 😊

A lovely modern style hotel brining the safari feel into the hotel with nice wooden trimming and decor. Absolutely stunning views of the courtyard and/or the park itself. We was able to see the bush dogs and monkeys from our room and it was truly amazing! The rooms itself are really cheap so well worth the visit! It was such an experience we decided to stay another night! The Bathroom facilities are again modern and great to use. The TV gives you options from the guide to buying films or logging into Netflix.

We’ve just had a perfect wedding at the Mount Pleasant hotel, the whole experience was superb. My new wife and I stayed in the Taitinger spa suite, which was superb. Many of our guests stayed over and they all commented on how spacious and clean their rooms were. The only slight downside was noise in the corridors during the night which bothered some, but we weren’t affected. The food and staff in the restaurant are both of a high standard. We noticed that this hotel doesn’t seem to be affected by a lack of staff, which is something that seems to be commonplace nowadays. That really makes a difference to your experience. The wedding experience at this hotel was perfect and we would recommend it to anyone thinking about booking their wedding there. Paige, their wedding coordinator is excellent, as are all of the staff who work efficiently to make your day so special. Ross in particular was also excellent and although the hotel hosts many weddings they still managed to make ours feel special and unique. The whole day went seamlessly with fantastic food and service throughout. Thank you so much, we will be back!

The hotel is near the Thorne North station and the M62 motorway. A pub with car park is part of the establishment and provide breakfast, warm meals and drink. Next to the hotel is a retail park with Aldi, KFC and other stores. Thorne itself is 15 min walk. The rooms are simple but effective and there is no staff on side. Kettle, coffee and tea supplied. Bathroom with bath and shower. Iron in corridor. I stayed few times as it is convenient for my needs and reasonable priced. 15% discount on meals for guests.

Hotel overpriced and no gym or pool facilities available due to building works. Stayed a couple of times before and rooms much bigger last time. Staff very friendly and helpful

Stayed here for 2 nights during St ledger festival, hotel is perfectly situated close to racecourse and also the city centre. Hotel decor in reception, bar and restaurant was amazing. Rooms were spacious, very clean and bed comfortable . Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The regent hotel is a historic family run hotel located near the centre of Dincaster about 10 minutes walk from the train station oposite a small park. Downstairs the bar and restaurant can be found together with the reception. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are over a number of floors, I had single room at the back. The rooms was small but had window, work top, kettle and a queen size bed and a small tv. The room was clean but looks a bit dated which is reflected in the price which is fair and value for money. Had a good night sleep and will stay again.
