Yes, one can locate a newer hotel with more amenities; however, S Hotel has everything needed to enjoy Jamaica within an easy commute. It is a Jamaican owned hotel staffed by locals. A wonderful selection of freshly prepared food and beverages were always available. Spa services were easily booked. Free and low-cost activities were available all day. There were very few service delays. While staff appreciated tips, one didn't feel obligated to carry cash. The hotel was safe for an all-girls' trip. We relaxed in the ocean, did water aerobics in the pool, attempted to learn Jamaican dance steps, learned about coffee and rum,...the experiences were varied and available. Go. Renew. Refresh.

An amazing place to stay. Attentive customer representatives, the place was immaculate, clean, and family friendly. The entertainment and entertainment host was top tier. I enjoyed how he got the crowd involved and let those be who didn’t want to participate in other activities. Actually, he was the highlight of my stay there. The food…ohhh the food. Great variety of Jamaican cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That Ackee tho… I could eat that every day… I definitely plan to come back and stay…

Great little place 5 mins walk from Doctor Cave Beach. Lovely pool + pool bar. Simple good food at the restaurant, Clean simple room, shower in bath. Free parking. All round a good value for money choice.

We rented the banquet hall for our mothers 80th birthday. From beginning to end EVERYTHING was superb. The event manager Marsha was friendly, easy to communicate with and extremely responsive to all our needs she helped with every detail although we were planning the event from overseas! We continued to be be thrilled when we arrived! The space was beautiful and set up was seamless! The food was excellent we received multiple compliments regarding how good the food was from both our foreigner and local guests. Janet and Shane were wonderful! Top notch crew all around thank you Marsha and team for making the evening so special. I highly recommend!!!

The hotel was great value for the price, excellent location on the hip *****. If room is at the back then you’re away from the noise in the *****. The only drawback is that the hotel does not provide access passes to Doctor’s Cave beach which a lot of the hotels in the area does. Harmony Beach Park is free and it’s an easy walk

Not the best experience at check in. Rooms were not ready for us and many other guests. No towels available before and after we went to the beach. The customer service however was awesome. The employees did their best to make us comfortable in the situation. The hotel itself was good. Food was ok. The beach was good. Be aware there is a cost for the chairs. Unfortunately we only got to use it for about an hour during our over night stay because it closed early and opened late.

We took a family and friend vacation in August 2024 - thirteen people, 6 adults and 7 children ranging from 5 yrs old to 11 yrs old. We stayed in the Rose Villas, and we loved how spacious they were. It was well-kept, extremely clean, and the perfect space for our large group. However, and this was definitely an issue for us in August, it's important to note that there is NO AC in any of the common spaces. There is AC in the bedrooms, but this was a big disappointment for us. We had booked a villa thinking that we could all spend time together after dinner, but with it being so hot, it was impossible to take advantage of the big, beautiful spaces that we did have. It was just too hot. There were also no air conditioned restaurants open that week that we were there. I understand it's the Caribbean, but having traveled to many islands you usually do have the option of at least one indoor restaurant. This was not the case here. Aside from that, we had a wonderful time. Our villa staff were absolutely the BEST we could have had. Ms. Joy (chef), Mr. Cassell (butler), Ms. Olive (housekeeper), and Kemar (pool attendant) did everything they could to make our trip absolutely amazing. Our kids loved the fresh coconuts that Kemar brought them every day, and my kids (who are very picky eaters) are still talking about Ms. Joy's food two months later and how much they loved it. Ms. Joy made us everything we asked for, although most days we asked her to make what she thought was best. We were surprised with some amazing Jamaican food and crazy amazing desserts that she made from scratch every day. I was especially touched because I mentioned to her that I always ate fried plantains growing up, and she made sure they were on the table at every dinner. Mr. Cassell's rum punches were fantastic, and Ms. Olive made sure that our rooms were spotless and that we had everything that we needed. Amazing! We were so sad to say goodbye to all of them. The resort itself is beautiful. We loved having golf carts to get to and from the main resort, and they provided bikes for the kids as well which was amazing. We spent most of our time at the Eclipse pool, which was absolutely beautiful. Some of the staff deserve special thanks, especially Toni Ann...”Toni, Toni, Toni!” She was absolutely incredible. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation. If you're looking for a typical all-inclusive, this is not the way to go as there was no true AI option available. However, if you're looking for a beautiful resort with very friendly people and a laid-back atmosphere, then this is the place for you.

Love the hotel however the staff were no warm and friendly the nicest was the bellman and front desk agent
