🏨 Review Jujur Menginap di Artotel Leguna Magelang (3–5 Maret 2026)
Saya menginap di Artotel Leguna Magelang dari tanggal 3 Maret 2026 sampai 5 Maret 2026 karena ada acara di Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang tanggal 3 dan 4 Maret. Lokasinya cukup strategis dan memudahkan saya untuk mobilitas ke kampus, jadi tidak terlalu capek bolak-balik.
Awalnya saya pesan Standard Room dengan 1 bed besar, sudah termasuk sahur 2 pax. ************* dapat free upgrade ke Superior Room, jadi kamarnya terasa lebih lega dan nyaman. Kamarnya bersih, rapi, dan enak untuk istirahat setelah kegiatan yang padat seharian. Tempat tidurnya empuk dan bikin tidur lebih nyenyak.
Yang paling saya suka, dari kamar bisa dapat view gunung 🌄 Suasananya tenang dan adem, terutama pagi hari. Lumayan banget buat recharge energi sebelum lanjut aktivitas.
Soal pelayanan, menurut saya timnya ramah dan responsif:
Pagi hari dibantu Mbak Risty dan Mas Aga
Sore hari dibantu Mas Bangkit, Mbak Sheila, dan Mbak Nayra
Malam hari dibantu Mas Fino
Semuanya helpful dan komunikatif. Kalau ada yang saya butuhkan, responnya cepat dan tidak ribet. Rasanya dilayani dengan baik, bukan sekadar formalitas.
Untuk housekeeping, saya dibantu Mas Dani. Kamar selalu bersih dan terjaga dengan baik selama saya menginap.
Untuk sahur disajikan secara buffet di resto. Walaupun pilihannya tidak terlalu banyak, tapi cukup, rasanya enak, dan disiapkan dengan baik serta tepat waktu. Jadi tidak perlu khawatir kalau menginap saat bulan puasa.
Secara keseluruhan, saya puas dan merasa nyaman selama menginap di sini. Cocok untuk yang ada kegiatan di Magelang, baik acara kampus, kerja, maupun sekadar staycation dengan suasana tenang dan view gunung.
Kalau ke Magelang lagi, saya tidak keberatan untuk stay di sini lagi 👍
the hotel is very strategic,located in the central of Magelang. As a 4 stars hotel, the responsiveness and the cleaness are still need an improvement. The facilities especially lift need to be considered bcs the lift is not maintain well
Good stayed , Good Breakfast, friendly staff & near to Solo's wisata places. Securely kept our luggage at the hotel storage room after check out. Will come back here again if in Solo. We had good dinner at Pendopo Yoso by FIM with their signature Nasi Goreng Sultan. 👍👍👍⭐️

The location is convenient and the overall atmosphere still feels comfortable and welcoming. However, it is a bit unfortunate that the hotel is starting to show its age. Some facilities seem a little old compared to before.
Last night was slightly difficult because there was a loud fan or machine noise coming from outside, which made it a bit hard to sleep. I hope the hotel can check this issue because it could affect guests staying in nearby rooms.
Aside from that small inconvenience, my stay was generally satisfying. The staff were friendly as usual and the service was reliable. I still appreciate the comfort and memories I have had here over the years, and I hope the hotel will continue to maintain and improve its facilities in the future.
Dua/tiga tahun lalu, saya pernah menginap di Grand Edge Semarang bersama keluarga. Pengalaman saat itu cukup menyenangkan hingga membuat saya memutuskan untuk kembali, kali ini untuk satu malam saja. Namun, siapa sangka, kunjungan kedua ini justru menjadi rangkaian pengalaman yang melelahkan dan membingungkan.
Hari itu, Kamis 7 Agustus 2025, saya tiba di hotel dan diizinkan untuk early check-in pukul 12.00 siang. Saya diberi kamar 606. Begitu masuk, AC memang sudah menyala, tapi hanya angin yang keluar tidak ada rasa dingin sama sekali. Panel kontrol suhunya pun terlihat rusak; hanya fungsi on-off dan fan yang bekerja. Saya coba tunggu lebih dari 40 menit, berharap suhu membaik, namun tetap panas.
Saya keluar dan memberi tahu staf front desk. Sekitar 30 menit kemudian saya kembali ke kamar hasilnya sama: hanya angin. Saya menelepon front desk dan mereka bilang kamar sudah dingin, tapi saya minta mereka datang dan rasakan sendiri. Akhirnya, saya dipindahkan ke kamar 616.
Sayangnya, kejadian serupa terulang. AC menyala tapi tidak dingin. Saya kembali dipindahkan ke kamar ketiga (saya lupa nomor kamarnya) dan ternyata kondisinya juga sama. Panel suhu tidak bisa diatur, hanya bisa dinyalakan dan dimatikan. Saya turun lagi dan melapor ke front desk.
Saya menunggu sekitar 20 menit, dan akhirnya diberi kamar keempat: 624. Katanya, thermostat di kamar ini baru, tapi saya diminta untuk tidak langsung masuk agar kamar punya waktu untuk menjadi dingin.
Saya ikuti arahan itu, menunggu di lobi lebih dari 30 menit sebelum masuk ke kamar. Betul, kamar ini memang terasa lebih baik dibanding tiga kamar sebelumnya, tetapi dinginnya tidak maksimal.
Saya kembali ke front desk untuk konfirmasi bagaimana sebenarnya sistem AC di hotel ini, apakah memang itu sudah paling dingin atau bagaimana? Front desk staf tidak bisa menjelaskan dan meminta saya menunggu Engineer untuk dijelaskan.
Setelah menunggu 15 menit, datanglah Asisten Manajer Engineering untuk menjelaskan cara kerja thermostat di kamar. Ia menyebutkan bahwa suhu paling dingin adalah 18 derajat, meskipun di panel terlihat angka 10 derajat. Menurut beliau, unitnya berfungsi dengan baik kok hanya tunggu beberapa saat; padahal memang sudah ditunggu dari tadi dengan waktu di atas. Bapaknya berupaya menjelaskan secara teknis bahwa AC-nya bekerja dengan baik, tapi faktanya tidak. Saya tidak punya energi lagi untuk 'berdebat'.
Pukul 15.00, setelah berbicara dengan Bapak Asisten Manager Engineering, saya menyerah. Saya putuskan untuk meninggalkan hotel dan tidak jadi menginap.
Saya tidak marah, tapi kecewa. Bukan hanya karena AC tidak berfungsi dengan baik, tetapi karena ini adalah hotel dengan review yang baik dan seharusnya hal mendasar kenyamanan seperti suhu kamar bisa diandalkan. Kekecewaan saya bukan pada staf yang tetap ramah dan mencoba membantu, tapi pada sistem dan standar teknis yang tidak mendukung kenyamanan tamu.
Kenangan baik beberapa tahun lalu tidak sama.

GGuest UserWe stayed during Ied Mubarak holiday for 4 days/3 nights in April 2025. We booked 2 connecting rooms for my family (4 persons). I chose this hotel because it has swimming pool and gym, we used to exercise daily. In fact, the gym was closed for long term maintenance. It should be declared and crossed out from the hotel facility so we noticed from beginning, not surprised on site. The rooms at a glance were ok but when we looked to the interior were lousy. The curtain, gordyn, and bed lamps, dirty and stained. My children room has no curtain, so direct sunshine and very hot during the day. The towel seemed already used for years. not soft, looks lousy and the color not pure white as normally hotel towel. Each room provided safety box but no function at all. if you see the direction on the safety box (see the photo), it supposed has red button inside the box but no button at all. The safety box used 4 battery. In my room has only 2 batteries out of 4 and already expired since March 2018. My children' room has 4 battery but also not functioned. the button numbers and keys cant be pressed so we cant keep important and valuable items inside it. The swimming pool were crowded and the water was dirty. the hotel supposed to overall cleaning to the pool due to holiday seasons but the water obviously dirty. The parking lot is low maintenance, dirty, and rubbish everwhere. the Horison Ultima was only 3 years old last December 2024 as I saw from the stickwerck at lobby. The hotel was Star Hotel and changed to Horison Ultima. The parking lot was narrow and limited. For location is ok, near Java Mall. good for morning walk. the hotel staffs were polite and fast response. the amenities for 4* hotel is good enough. the mini fridge in the room is ok as well as the Aircon. If I may advise the management, please take serious attention to the cleanliness and maintenance also room refurbishment to the lousy interior inside as top priority.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are a bit old, and the bathroom only has a bathtub. The soundproofing isn't great; you can hear motorcycles roaring down the street at night. However, the service is good. The hotel Wi-Fi can be a bit unreliable, and they only provide large bath towels, no face towels. The bedding also seems a bit old. On the bright side, the desk design is very clever and well-suited for working.

The lobby and check-in process are quite good, the welcome drink is refreshing, and the concierge helpfully carried the luggage. Basement parking is also relatively easy.
Unfortunately, many important details reduce comfort. The door of the room does not have a stopper so it is often slammed loud and noisy. Soundproofing was not good, the sound from the next room was still heard. The room size is relatively small for the standard 5-star, and there is no minibar at all, even a paid one. For mineral water, use plastic bottles, not the premium ones with glass bottles. The lighting system was confusing and the bathroom lighting was too dim.
There are 4 elevators but it is very slow.. there is often a buildup of guests.
The pool area is also less well-organized such as having no concept and not weather-friendly because there is no shaded area. It's ridiculous, having to pay an extra 200rb for access to the whirlpool and jacuzzi.
Breakfast was a disappointment: the menu options were less varied, the taste was standard, and the service was less warm (officers lacked smiles).
Overall, I wouldn't really mind these things if the room price wasn't this muc, but with a rate above Rp 2 million per night, this experience is less worth it. Compared to 5-star hotels in Jogja and its surroundings, it is still quite far behind.
MMels2012The hotel is quite old and very big, but everything is still well-maintained and in good condition. It offered good value for money for three people plus a friend. We enjoyed beautiful views of Mount Ungaran every morning. The breakfast was delicious, with a different menu offered daily – absolutely fantastic!
One thing that made us quite reluctant to move was the incredibly long walk from the reception to the elevators. The restaurant is also quite a trek from the elevators, which is understandable given how massive this hotel is. If you're staying alone, I wouldn't recommend this hotel; you might get the creeps walking around by yourself, haha!
However, if you're with a big group and kids, it's fine and not spooky. But precisely because the hotel is so huge, the distances to the elevators and restaurant are considerable, and it can feel incredibly deserted! 😭😭😱😱

Amazing breakfast and restaurant staff. Very kind and polite. Supportive pleasant front desk staff and security staff. Elavita front desk officer is very good. She gave full support to book my 2nd room.
I feel sad I couldn't stay more days because of back to Jakartha. Lovely pleasant stay. Do not go anywhere. Specially don't book Redoorz hotels. They are scamers. Book this anybody want to go to Purbalingga. Redoorz scamed me
