"Location was perfect. Close to mini metro and situated within the old town. Has the basic amenities needed for short stays. My only issue was that you can hear the banging of doors and noise in the corridor inside your room. Other than that, it was a good stay."

"Toen ik de receptie zag werd ik een beetje bang om hoe de kamers zouden zijn, al had ik niks dan goede reviews gelezen. Maar mijn kamer was prima en heel netjes verzorgd. Wij werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen. Het ontbijt is in een bar om de hoek. Niet erg uitgebreid maar genoeg keuze. Ook daar werden we heel vriendelijk ontvangen en werd alles netjes uitgelegd. De ligging van het hotel is super. Over het hotel meteen roltrappen die je naar het centrum leiden. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug."

The hotel is a separate farm on the hill opposite Orvieto, and you can enjoy the panoramic view of Orvieto from the hotel's grass, and enjoy the sunrise and sunset of the town.
The farm is well maintained. At the end of September, the stay was full of verbena, roses, etc., and a lot of chestnuts were picked up on the ground. Although the hotel area is not very large, the environment is good and the view is excellent.
Breakfast is also quite rich, with ham, cake, pie, bread, fruit and coffee, etc.
Very close to Orvieto, self-driving is very convenient, the next day to play in the town, the hotel manager gave us a map of the town, and gave a lot of suggestions. It is a good accommodation choice.

A decent hotel but personally not worth the price. The bar was constantly closed and we had to ask the front desk just to make a coffee, even over the weekend when you think they would want to make money. Location is no man’s land with some groceries and a highway next to you VERY far from center. WiFi was ok, some issues going out and in.
The pool was the highlight as we had it to ourselves for both days. Room cleaning was nice and prompt, what we would expect.
Personally both days we woke up with horrible allergies likely from their poor ventilation system. Could not open windows due to a sign from hotel suggesting Beatles would get in seasonally. Not justified for the price, just ok.

Set quite a way out of Perugia town, a car is needed to access this hotel in the hills. It is a little step back in time. The room fixtures are early 70s and there’s nothing super fancy here, but it is a charming and relaxing stay. The room is spacious but the bathroom is tiny and really needs an update. Breakfast was a nice spread but staff were not topping up anything and most items had run out by about 9:15am. The front patio is a relaxing space to sit and take in the pretty flower pots. Staff are lovely and this was a terrific last minute option to access Old Town Perugia.

What an amazing experience we had at Borgo Petroro! From the moment we entered in the little hamlet we knew we were in for something special. The quiet location among olive trees makes it a good base to explore the region and the surrounding towns like Todi and Montefalco wineries. The room is beyond comfortable and sparkling clean. We enjoyed the facilities like the pool and the restaurant where we ate delicious food in the courtyard. Service is top notch! We especially loved the breakfast where local products are presented. Next time we are staying more than one night!

The hotel gives the impression of being quite luxurious and special. It is in fact a clean decent basic hotel with no frills. The beds are comfortable and the superior room is basic but clean. The breakfast is very basic, mainly pastries and coffee without being able to order an omelette even with payment. The check in and out are very efficient and staff are very polite
The location is convenient and it is easy to continue your journey. Just don’t expect this to be anything more than a clean basic hotel. Expect a limited breakfast which in my view should be better. .

The hotel is located a stone throw away from the city center, in a short, beautiful residential street.
It must have been a mansion before it is converted into a hotel. It sure feels homey. It is tastefully and beautifully decorated. The 24-hour receptionists are warm and helpful.
We were pleasantly surprised as we were not expecting much. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here should we visit Umbria again.

It was badly started, we arrived at 15.30 but the room was not available, we had to wait about an hour to have it. Then it went all right: spacious room with 2 seats, a desk a small open box ( without a chair I would say more comfortable than those closed ) . Staff very polite and helpful. He showed us and give us a map of the top city attractions and the walk itinerary to do.
The hotel is quite charming, an old palace with frescoes ceiling. But you must like historic homes with their merits but also defects.
Very good price for the location, in the city center, with parking (extra charge) , and only 15 minutes pleasant walk to reach the main fountain plaza.

The staff is friendly, even though the reviews said otherwise. In my opinion, it all depends on how you treat them yourself... The hotel is average. The rooms are small, but everything is clean. I have a slight issue with the bed, but it’s not a dealbreaker (the springs feel interconnected rather than pocketed). The view from the room is good. The breakfast could have been more variety-rich.

JIANZHOUThe location is superb, just around the Franciscan Church of Assisi, and the hotel is a 5 minute turn right. At check-in, the hotel will give a green parking slip, then the luggage will be put down, and the car will be taken to the parking lot of the Franciscan Church. The front desk staff will help to mark the parking lot route on the map, or the Google navigation input parking lot English name Instructed to go, very accurate, the green parking slip should be placed in the front windshield of the car, the parking lot walks back to the hotel for 5 minutes; when leaving, first go to the hotel and the green parking ticket to the front desk for 7 euros a day. The hotel room is white, clean and tidy, three people stay, add a single bed, supplies are prepared by three people, there are slippers. Very recommended. The front desk and service staff are great.
