Very well-located hotel, less than a 10-minute walk from the station, with a wonderful onsen overlooking the lake. The staff were extremely attentive and listened carefully to our requests. Many thanks to them, also the view from the room was also very beautiful.

Nice hotel with great views of the Lake. Great service from the reception staff who was very helpful with bringing my luggage up to the room. Aircon in room wasn’t that cool as it could get stuffy with 4 people in the room. Little dated hotel but good for staying a night or 2. Parking was free when signed up with their free membership program.

Ryokusuitei’s environment, service, and facilities were excellent. Our pre-stored luggage was promptly delivered to the room. The private bath room included breakfast, which was delicious with many options, plus a small stove to grill seafood yourself. While the private bath isn’t completely secluded—people in a building across, though quite far away, can see in—the stunning view of Lake Biwa more than makes up for it. The large public bath is open nearly 24 hours, featuring a relaxing lounge area afterward, free ice cream, and complimentary coffee in the lobby during the day. Upon check-in, we received shopping discount coupons that could be used to purchase small towels, scented balms, and storage bags.

The most satisfied hotel for my this solo trip. Feeling great with this hotel. Clean and service is so good, feel enjoy amenities inside hotel room. I love it so much, and is very close to station

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in front of the lake with breathtaking views. The room was spacious and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The hotel is very bike-friendly and the staff were incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this place for a short stay. The Japanese breakfast was good, but it was a little on the boring side. It could benefit from a bit more variety to make it more interesting.

Highly recommended hotel. Staff were very friendly and did their best to make us feel welcome. The room was spacious and the open air onsen was gorgeous. Meals were well presented and very filling. I would definitely return if given the opportunity.

Good place to relax but the hotel is out of the way and it was quite difficult to explore the surrounding area.

I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel's onsen, which offered a truly relaxing experience. The only downside is its somewhat remote location, making it a bit far from other attractions. However, this is compensated by the superb view from the room, which provides a breathtaking and serene backdrop.

Place was extremely convenient, next to Hikone station and walking distance from almost all of Hikone's attractions (Castle, food street etc.) To enjoy Lake Biwa, you can get a rental cycle for free, you just need to check with the concierge 😄 Other than that, the residents of Hikone were really friendly, even at non-touristy restaurants and izakayas. I had a great stay.

長濱是北陸本線唯一一個靠琵琶湖的站點（彥根和米原都不在湖邊），而這個酒店又在長濱港，中間有五分鐘路程，並不遠。酒店客房南北向，這使所有客房都能看到湖景。 酒店七樓有浴場和室內瞭望台（向南），已經是湖邊的制高點了，早晚風景都很好，東南北三面瞭望琵琶湖，向西還有伊吹山。出酒店就是琵琶湖渡輪和去竹生島的遊船。 房間保留了泡沫時代的裝修風格，且非常乾淨。雖然入住率很高，但走廊並不吵。服務沒什麼説的，該給到的都給到了。雖然不是很想説性價比的事情，但和大津以及湖西網上動輒幾千元的湖景房相比，這邊真的做到了花小錢辦大事。 感謝酒店提供一晚令人放空的體驗。因《琵琶湖周航之歌》來到這裏，也真的在酒店看到了歌詞中所言之景。希望這個平價觀景酒店可以一直存在下去。
