Hotel Dengan Bar di Wilayah Toyama, Jepun

This was a brand new hotel in Toyama by the time we arrived there. It was opened in March 2022, so everything looked new and fresh. It's a 5-minute walking distance from Toyama station, and opposite the Maroot shopping mall. The check-in and check-out process were smooth and seamless. Please note that if you plan to pay at the hotel, they will only charge you by the time you check out. The room we stayed was quite spacious with two single beds, one big sofa and a table. There were a small fridge and a smart TV. The amenities (tooth brushes, combs, etc.) were provided inside the room - two thumb-ups for this! They even provided a fancy coffee machine with two capsules of coffee provided. The bathroom was also pretty spacious as the toilet and bath tub were placed separately. The internet connection was pretty fast, so we could do a Zoom meeting smoothly.

Perfect location. The hotel is literally steps from the Toyama Tram Station, the Toyama Station and Dentetsu Train Station. The hotel is located in the upper floors of the Maroot Building which houses a mall, a premium grocery with a small area with tables, perfect to have some light meal. We got some sashimi after our day at Kurobe Gorge and before heading out on the train station. The room with got was good and clean. We got the Standard Twin Room and it was spacious enough. There's also a public bath in the hotel, perfect for a long day coming from Nagano via the Tateyama Alpine Route. I love how the lobby looks as well as the guest lounge and public bath, they all have that modern look that's stylish and clean. Security is good despite it being in the same building as the mall and use the same elevator to the lobby. From the lobby, to get into the elevator hall for the rooms, you need to scan your key card. then scan again on the elevator. Also to get into the public bath and to the guest lounge which offers water, ice, coffee and some snacks. While I appreciate the strict security, I think there's too much duplicate key card scanning. Basically you still have to scan to get into an area which is already inside a secured area. It's kinda overkill in my opinion :-) Staff is okay, they do what is expected of a hotel like this and they are good with their jobs but a bit aloof. They could improve in terms of friendliness. Aside from these things, the hotel was great, the space was comfortable and the ambiance was very nice and tasteful. Unfortunately, we only stayed a night.

Bed was a bit small for two adults but acceptable for one night, room was small and could hardly open a big suitcase, but room was clean and good location from the main station. Would recommend for the price especially during weekends/ public holidays.

I have no idea why this hotel is branded as Doubletree because it is a lot better than the usual Doubletree. It can definitely be a Hilton branded hotel. Everyone is kind and helpful and the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with the food quality excellent. Plenty of choice between western and Japanese food, the Food and Beverage Manager was personally present to make sure everything was okay and he was fantastic to receive his advice on the best food to choose. Well done everyone

Hotel room is tidy, clean and cosy. Location is very convenient, just need to walk 5 minutes to JR station. Staff there are nice and friendly. On the day of arrival, it rains heavily, staff are very thoughtfully to lend us an umbrella when we left the hotel for lunch.

Very nice hotel that incorporates elements from the traditional Japanese ryokan. I was surprised to learn you need to take off the shoes and store them in a locker before taking the elevator because everywhere is covered with tatami mats! You can enjoy the common bathhouse that has some special onzen facilities like water dropping from above (as if you were showering under a small waterfall), which was actually an old way of enjoying onzen that went back to Edo period if I am not mistaken. You can also enjoy fresh hot water right inside your room, which is another great thing about this franchise.

It is a traditional hotel, the lobby and rooms are a bit old. However, everything works well in the room. Staffs from reception are very kind and willing to help! Location is also good, with convenience store just opposite the hotel.

This was a beautiful hotel just steps away from the Toyama Station, yet the area is clean, quiet (for being in the city) and lovely. It’s conveniently located for walking around to shops, restaurants and the cherry blossom canal, if you’re there at that time of year. There’s also a stunning urban park close by with so many views and a Starbucks on the waterfront that is a special setting. Our room at this hotel was above and beyond. We actually reserved a standard double and ended up getting upgraded to an amazingly large room with a spacious full living room area. It was such a relaxing place to stretch out after a busy day. Everything was super clean and many nice toiletry touches were provided. I wish we had another night here for sure!

先日、初めてドーミーインに宿泊しましたが、想像以上に快適で大満足でした！ 特に良かったのは、大浴場の温泉です。出張帰りの疲れが一気に吹き飛ぶくらい、広々としていて気持ちよかったです。サウナもあって、リフレッシュには最高でした。お風呂上がりに無料でいただけるアイスキャンディーも素敵なサービスですね。 夜鳴きそばのサービスも嬉しかったです。あっさりした醤油ラーメンで、小腹を満たすのにちょうど良い量でした。こういった心遣いがとてもありがたいです。 朝食もバラエティ豊富で、地元の食材を使ったメニューが並んでいて楽しめました。旅行気分を朝から味わえるのは良いですね。 部屋はコンパクトながらも清潔で、必要な設備がしっかり揃っていました。デスクが使いやすかったので、夜に少し仕事をするのにも助かりました。 唯一気になったのは、人気のホテルだけあって、大浴場が少し混雑していたこと。でも時間をずらせば快適に使えたので、次回も利用するときはその点を調整しようと思います。 全体的にスタッフの対応も温かく、リラックスできる滞在でした。ぜひまた利用したいと思います！

I stayed 1 night at this property. There are just another 2 other international chain hotel in this mid-size city with another one (Doubletree by Hilton) coming in early 2023. Other international guests seems to be mainly employees which visits this city for the Fujifilm site and it seems to cater to also tour groups - during my visit there was a bus load of Korean tourist. Location The hotel is located about 15-20 mins walk from the main Toyama train station. In front of the hotel was a tram stop (serviced by the City Circle tram) and about 5 mins walk away another tram stop which has more frequency. Around the hotel within walking distance are different shopping streets and eateries. Right in front of the hotel is the Toyama castle, and other touristic attractions also within walking distance. To sum up, the property is favorably centrally located. Check In I arrived around 1 pm at the property to a quiet front desk area - however the employees seemed to be busy. However upon noticing my presence, I was immediately called upon. I was informed that my rooms were not ready (I had 2 rooms reserved). However the check-in process was completed and I was informed that I could keep my bags stored and they would be brought up to the room. I only had to come back later to retrieve the room card later. I was upgraded to a higher category room. I was also asked about my option for my Welcome Gift - which I selected for the Welcome drink option. Since my room was with breakfast, I was also provided with a breakfast voucher. All in all a very warm welcome to the hotel. Room I arrived late afternoon back to the hotel - upon receiving my keys I was informed that the bags were already in one of the rooms. I was given two rooms, next to each other at the end of the hallway. The room size was rather spacious and although dated, as in lots of other Crowne Plaza's in Japan, the room was rather dated but well maintained and functional. There was a working desk and a small area with a seating area. The window in the room was on the small side - with a view towards the city area. The internet speed was good and stable - with login via the One Rewards login page. The only small complain is the TV, it was on the smaller side with the usual channel options found in these international chain hotels in Japan. The bed was luckily not on the hard side and sleep quality was good. Climate control was good - with the room maintained at the set temperature. Tea/coffee making amenities and Japanese Yakuta was provided. The bathroom was sufficiently spacious with a bathtub. Water pressure and temperature control was good. Toiletries were in pump size bottled. There was additional amenities provided - which is typical for such hotel level in Japan and in addition the Crowne Plaza sleep comfort package, Skyview Bar To use my Welcome Drink voucher, I used it at the hotel's Skyview bar - which is at the highest floor of the hotel, which is one o

駅前にあり、駐車場や駅と連絡橋でつながっているので立地は便利だった。各種アメニティはチェックインしたときにフロント前のコーナーで必要なものを取っていく方式だった。部屋の中は、必要なものはだいたいそろっていて、さほど古くもなく、使いやすい快適な部屋だった。地下の大浴場は、さほど広くはないが、お休みどころのマッサージチェアーも併用してゆっくり休むことができた。駐車場は駅西の中央駐車場に止めて、そこの割引利用券を購入する方式だった。近くのコンビニは、駅の東側、またはホテル前の交差点を北東方向（お城方向）に行ったところにローソンがあったほか、駅の２階にセブンイレブンがあった。交通の便が良く、大浴場でリラックスもできて快適なホテルだった。

部屋は古めのビジネスホテル。場所は高岡駅から近くて便利で駅から最短距離で向かうと必ず通る事になる裏の通りは一般的な飲み屋街と言うより、水商売系のお店や無料案内所がある様な通り。 室内にはいくつかカビが見受けられ、備え付けの空気清浄機が古い為か夜中ずっとカタカタと鳴っていてなかなか寝付けなかった。 フロントの接客は問題ないと言えるレベルだが、エレベーター前に立っていた人はホテル内に人が入って来てもフロント前に並ぶまでは挨拶もしませんでした。 ニューオータニと思わず、地方の古いビジネスホテルと思って宿泊されることをお勧めします。

高岡駅からホテルまでの道は暗く少しわかりづらい。 予約の際ダメ元で空きがあれば禁煙室に変更して欲しいとリクエストしたところ、当日空きがあり変更してくださった。 受付の方が丁寧でした。 ホテルはカードキーではなく鍵式で少し古い感じはするものの、最低限のものは揃っていて特に不自由は感じなかったです。

We loved this hotel! It was beautiful, and our room was very spacious with a great view of the river and bridges. Athough I had only booked a standard room, which I thought would be facing the car park, we were pleasantly surprised with the room we were provided. It was great to have a spacious room with table and chairs and plenty of room to open suitcases after staying in small pokey rooms in the city The buffet breakfast and dinner was fantastic although we are Aussies, we respect that it is not necessarily going to cater for Westerners, so we made to do with what was provided, and there was plenty! A couple of things that didn’t suit us (being Aussies). Strange teacups with no handles (although all other hotel cups were ceramic mugs with handles) and very small towels. The bath mat was no bigger than a handtowel and the main towels were not too much bigger than a large hand towel. The pillows were also way to firm, but if you like firm pillows, this would of course suit. If you can’t read Japanese like us, then make sure you know the hotel location as there is no English signage at the front entrance. The hotel has a shuttle bus from the train station, but it is only a 5 minute walk. It’s nice and close to the train station and Kurobe gorge rail train. A very small quiet town.

This hotel is a bit past its prime and well into its twilight years but it still has plenty to offer to its guests. The check-in process was efficient but being the only foreigner in a somewhat remote area proved to be a challenge for my limited Japanese. Thankfully the clerk was patient with me and we muddled through. The onsen area was nice but the outdoor bath area was tiny and oddly directly under some balconies and a straight view from the convenience store across the way. Given you are naked, it felt pretty exposed but it wasn't a deal breaker. The evening dinner and morning breakfast was buffet style (you have time slots) and offered a wide variety of food. It was slightly above average for a buffet. Check out was easily completed at a digital kiosk though you do need to pay with cash at checkout. They offer a free luggage holding service which was very nice when you want to explore the gorge after check-out.

主人の黒部名水マラソン参加に、宇奈月温泉は1名では宿泊ができないから富山市内に泊まると言っていた主人。宇奈月温泉？？知らないなぁ　と右から左へ聞き流していましたが、TVで観光地だと知り　宇奈月温泉に泊まるなら一緒に行きたい。マラソンは応援しないけどトロッコ電車に乗りたい。と主人の宿泊予定も変更し、こちらのホテルの眺望を期待して予約。眺望は思ったとおり癒やされました。いろいろな口コミを見ましたが、コロナ禍真っ最中の頃は評価が低いようですが、過去に遡ったり最近の口コミ評価は高かったので期待していました。そこも期待通りでした。喜多館最上階（6F）に宿泊。食事は少量コース（会席料理で10品）地ビールが売り切れだったのが残念でしたが充分おなかいっぱいになりました。普通懐石だと12品だそうです。主人もマラソン前日でしたので味、量ともに満足だったそうです。ご飯はジャーごと食事部屋（個室）にあります。お水が美味しいせいか？お米も美味しかったです。

宇奈月温泉駅から、少し距離が離れていますが、車での送迎もしてくれるようです。 1泊2食付きで泊まりましたが、夕食は品数もボリュームもあってとても良かったです。白えび懐石のコースを選びましたが、白えびのお造り、昆布じめ、唐揚げ、炊き込みご飯と、白えび料理が多数でした。 また、地酒に力を入れている旅館で、10種類くらい取り揃えられていました。 温泉は小さめで、いまひとつといった感じでした。 深夜を境に、男女入れ替え制をとっていましたが、片方は露天風呂が3人くらいしか入れないサイズでした。もう一方はそれねりの広さでした。 泉質は、周辺どこも変わらないと思いますが、無色透明でクセのないお湯です。 施設自体はかなり古めですが、くつろぐことができました。

Our room came with breakfast and dinner, and the spread was excellent. The ryokan is clean and service staff are very polite and helpful. The age of the ryokan is evident..but it adds to the charm of the area.

主人が脳卒中で半身麻痺の重度後遺症があるので、バリアフリールームに宿泊しました。 今まで何度か、他のバリアフリールームがある宿泊施設に行きましたが、 客室入口の段差にはスロープあり、リクライニングベッド、トイレの手すり、 バスルームには手すりはもちろんのこと、バスリフトまであって、絶景の黒部峡谷を眺めながらの入浴は最高の時間だったようです。 3泊連泊し、夕朝食ともとても美味しくてつい食べ過ぎてしまいました。 スタッフの皆さんの対応も素晴らしく、一度お願いしたことなど先回りして準備してくださってありがたかったです。 玄関と宴会場に段差があり、客室外のトイレはバリアフリーではなかったですが 主人が通る時間にはスロープを設置してくださったので移動も大丈夫でした。 心温まるおもてなしに感謝してます。 ありがとうございました！

当館は宇奈月温泉駅からは車で２分、歩けば７～８分。 ホテルから駅までは登り坂なので助かる。 ホテルの入口の構えはそこそこなのだが、コロナ禍のためなのかフロントの造り・体制が不十分、そのため案内までに時間がかかる。 ただ、待っている際の場所（ロビー？）では無料のコーヒーが飲める。 部屋は和室を利用したが、コンセントも割と豊富。 イスとテーブルも用意されていたが、床の間も改装されていて座れるようになっていた。 私たちはそこをバゲージラック代わりに使った。 浴衣は大中小と用意されていた、体型に合わせ利用した。 【食事】 夕食、板長おまかせ会席。白エビ・地魚と北陸富山らしいものが並ぶもちょっと期待していた氷見牛、薄い肉が３枚だけ。なのでアワビを追加注文した。 朝食、２段のお重？におかずが用意され、各テーブルにセットされていた。席に案内されると ご飯・味噌汁が配膳され、それと五徳で温める食材が用意される。 朝食、結構ボリュームあり。朝から山登りする人が多いから？ 【風呂】 夜中に男風呂と女風呂の入れ替えが行われる。 なので、「９つの湯めぐり」を楽しめるのだが、この湯めぐり、それぞれが４つの湯船と足湯１つで構成され合わせて９つ、らしい。勝手に９つの源泉的なことを思っていたので ちょっとがっかり。 【売店】 お土産となるお菓子類は多くは置いていないのでお土産は他の場所で 用意する方が良いと思われる。

Beautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare. Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station) Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved. Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience! Overall a great stay! (Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)
