The town is beautiful. The hotel is lovely. I walked in so excited to be there. The staff was checking people out so I waited. When it was my turn I asked to just store my luggage as it was too early for check in. She snapped at me that I shouldn’t have come during check in and if I wanted to see the town that day I should have booked the previous night. I was so sad. I ended up taking my luggage and getting lunch next store (it was 10:40, not like it was 7am.) I took the bus from Linz so I didn’t get to choose my arrival. Also there were silver fish bugs in the bathroom as other reviews have noted. Finally the card with the keys says breakfast is 6:30. I waited until 6:30 and was again snapped at that it’s 7. Then 10 minutes later they let other guests in. Room and view were lovely as were some staff, but I’ve honestly never felt so unwelcome and couldn’t wait to leave.

Hotel location is good, short walk from the bus station and to Old Town. Room is quaint and clean. Bathroom looks newly updated. L'Occitane toiletries is a plus. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the ladies at reception on the morning of March 23 (sorry, we failed to get their names) who provided us umbrellas for our walk back to the bus station. Breakfast buffet choices were varied and was good.

It is a classic old hotel set right on the river, just across from the picturesque castle. One of the town bridges is just in front of the hotel, and the street leads to the castle in one direction and to the main part of the old town in the other. We found the location to be very convenient. A short distance away is another bridge with a walkway that leads to one of the town parking areas. It would be possible to reach the hotel with a small amount of luggage, but we opted to park and walk to the hotel before obtaining a town pass to drive to the front of the hotel with our luggage. If you then choose one of the hotel’s private parking options, which we did, someone from the hotel will guide you in another vehicle to your parking area and bring you back to the hotel. Be aware that even with a town pass you can’t drive in town from 10 am to 3 pm, which can complicate departure as well as arrival. We arranged for a taxi to pick us up with our luggage and take us to our car when we checked out to get around this. Our room (401) was on the corner of the top floor and likely an upgrade from our castle-view room. It was a very large suite with a bedroom area, a sitting area, a separate room with closet and storage area, and a huge tiled-bathroom with an enclosed alcove for the toilet. We had terrific views of the town, the river, and the castle from every room. The sleeping area had a comfortable king bed, a desk, sofa, tv cabinet, small round table with two chairs, nicely decorated a classical style. There was a single cup coffee maker that was very good. The closet wqs large, but had only and few hangers and the safe wasn’t operable. The bathroom had a pedestal sink with adequate counter space, and a shower/tub combo. Our only complaint about the room was that there were no heat controls and it was unseasonably chilly during our visit. Breakfast was a very good buffet with lots of fruit, cereals, baked goods, eggs, breakfast meats, etc. All in all, we highly recommend the Dvorak for comfort, location, and character.

Situated not far from the historic center and very close to the shopping mall this hotel makes a good choice for any traveler. It has a large parking on site with easy access to the town center or the highway. The room was equipped with everything expected for this category - good bedding, complimentary tea and coffee except the TV set being an old model with no english channels. The breakfast had a good variety of food and very well organized, the personnel friendly and helpful. We recommend this hotel to anybody.

Wonderful experience at the Castle View Apartments! We had probably the best unit in the complex, which is on the ground floor (no steps other than two steps up to the bathroom), nice living room, kitchenette area, bedroom and great balcony with outstanding view of the castle. Not all rooms have the view, but this is clearly stated on their website. Our unit was spotless, quiet and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the towels were good and fluffy. We learned that the property has a new owner since the pandemic and they have all new mattresses and furnishings. There is a grocery store around the corner which should supply all your needs. We were looking for breakfast however, so they recommended a great restaurant around the corner on the square, the Authentic Cafe, which is a lovely space and offers an excellent full breakfast cooked to order from a menu. While not inexpensive, it was high quality and we really enjoyed it. We were cold the first day we arrived as the town had not turned on the heat for fall yet, but with the urging of Daniel with the property, they got it turned on so we were then comfortable. Nice that they have a heated towel rack in the bathroom. They let me know that they offer a private transfer service in a luxury SUV from Prague and on to Vienna which we took advantage of. The cost was about the same as CK Shuttles. Daniel with the hotel provided the transfers. He is friendly and kind and we enjoyed getting to know him on the beautiful drives. He'll make stops along the way as needed. He took wonderful care of us on the drives and during our stay going above and beyond the call of duty. He is a gem! Highly recommend!

We had even chosen our dessert from the menu but as the waiter did not stop at our table (despite us being nearest the bar) but kept walking past to other customers. No offer of a second drink either. Beware - it is cash only restaurant - just in case you happen to miss the signage on the way in (apparently) just like us 😉 Otherwise this is a lovely restaurant with live music - a piano player on this occasion.

An absolutely amazing stay, thank you again! The owner is incredibly helpful and nice, nothing is a problem, the whole hotel, restaurant, garden and surroundings are beautifully cleaned. Self check-in was possible, everything was perfectly prepared and described, a map of the city was also available, interesting places and the way to get to the city were marked (approx. 10 minutes of normal walking) We had room No. 2 with direct access to the terrace with a beautiful well-kept garden, where in the summer you can use the barbecue and the swimming pool, we were almost at the end of October, so it was already cold :) The room was clean and well furnished, there is TV (we did not use it), lamps and pluger available on both sides of the bed, in a wardrobe there are more pillows and plush blankets hidden in it :), in the bathroom Is available liquid soap/shower gel and hair dryer. French window and a balcony door to the terrace where you have armchairs, a small table and an ashtray and immediately a beautiful garden :) From the room you can also see the parking in the area. Of course, towels are also available. The stay includes a rich and tasty breakfast. Coffee, tea, milk, 3 types of juice, various fruits, sweet pastries, several types of yogurt, several types of corn flakes, vegetables, several types of bread (light, whole grain...), scrambled and boiled eggs, cheeses, salami, marmalade, butter, honey... It's just that everyone can find what suits them. And last but not least, the friendly owner and the whole team :). The hotel is dog friendly (we have a large dog of 60 kg and it wasn't a problem either). We wish many satisfied guests and are already thinking about when we will return to the hotel again :).

This hotel is in a very convenient location. It is situated in the main square. It has tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. Car can be parked overnight just outside, but there is parking meter. The hotel has a lift and very substantial buffet breakfast. Beds are comfortable and bathroom sizeable. The location of the property is fine. There is an open parking place. Unfortunately those are the only two things that I can consider positives. Our room was in a very bad condition. I understand and I even like to have old furniture in the room of a hotel, but it must be in good condition and not falling apart. Carpets and curtains were in bad conditions too. The whole room including the bathroom should not be rented until it is renovated. The worse thing was the service. The people from the “ reception “ were inefficient and not helpful at all. We asked for un extension to connect the night table lamp since there was not any plug. Surprise! They never come to help with it. The minibar was empty, we informed them and they said that we could ask for refreshment , water, etc in the restaurant. Fine, we arrived from the city one evening and they said that they could not provide any beverage since the restaurant was closed. So they had closed it two hours before without previous information. The breakfast… mmm, maybe just acceptable… A very unpleasant stay. It is not our first time in the city and in our previous visit we had gotten a beautiful pension, elegant, clean, everything fine for a much better price. Four stars??? Come on!!!

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cet établissement situé idéalement à l'entrée de la partie piétonne de la (très belle et hyper touristique) ville historique de Cesky Krumlov. Ceci signifie qu'en sortant de la pension on accède à la ville historique (et notamment à son château) en à peine quelques minutes à pied, qu'il n'est pas nécessaire d'entrer dans la zone piétonne avec sa voiture (ce qui peut être source de tracas). Comme la pension possède des places de parking et de garage, la situation est idéale. Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 2/4 occupants. La chambre était confortable, agréable et offrait une vue sur le château mais elle s'est toutefois avérée un peu petite pour nous quatre. Pour 4, il aurait été préférable de réserver 2 chambres. Une réserve à propos du petit déjeuner : il est servi ou bien à l'extérieur (sur une belle terrasse), ou bien (lorsqu'il pleut, ce qui fut notre cas) en chambre. Là encore, la chambre était peu adaptée pour prendre un petit déjeuner à 4 occupants. Le prix est assez élevé mais en rapport avec le caractère très touristique de la ville et la localisation de la pension.

A terrific hotel in most respects: it’s a charming, atmospheric historic building; my room was spacious and pretty, with antique decoration; good buffet breakfast in the building next door. Parking worked well - I was able to bring the car to the hotel to unload; the car park is an easy 10-minute walk away. And of course the hotel’s in a fantastic position, right in the centre of this most lovely town. Česky Krumlov is basically pedestrianised in its entirety, meaning traffic noise isn’t an issue. The one problem is nearby church bells - which go throughout the night. It was impossible, unless you accepted being woken regularly, to leave the windows open for fresh air - which meant the room got uncomfortably warm, even in November. Ear plugs made no difference. So sadly I wouldn’t go back unless the issue is fixed, and this issue reduces what would have been a rating if a ‘5’ to a ‘3’. Hotels in Česky Krumlov are of course not the only ones to have this problem. But surely they could club together and ask the church or churches not to ring their bells between, say, 11pm and 7am? This has happened in other places in Europe that previously had this issue. I’ll look forward to news that the problem’s been fixed and returning to the Leonardo.

Schöne Lage, Zimmer ok, Frühstück super. Leider wird mit einem Spa Bereich geworben, für den man dann aber als Hotelgast extra bezahlen muss. Daher ist das Hotel als überteuert zu bezeichnen.

The room was fine -- pretty clean and comfortable -- though note that there is no fridge and no coffee/tea. Also, be aware that the (paid) parking garage only has 14 spots but there are 75 rooms, so you have to reserve in advance if you want to park there, something that was not clear to us, despite reading about the property -- so the garage was full when we arrived and we had to drive around looking for street parking in the rain (and there was very little to be had). But the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.
