While the hotel itself met expectations in terms of amenities and service, the major issue was the daily loud protests that started at 7 a.m. right outside our window. This disrupted our rest every single morning and seriously impacted our ability to enjoy our holiday. We raised the issue with the front desk and were informed that the protests, organized by hotel employees demanding better contracts and wage increases, were beyond the hotel’s control. While I understand labor issues are complex, this response was disappointing, especially since the hotel made no effort to offer compensation or accommodate us in a quieter room. I find it unreasonable that guests are not informed about such ongoing disruptions prior to booking, especially when the noise is so significant and starts early in the morning. For the price we paid, I expected Hilton to prioritize guest comfort and offer some form of compensation or resolution, but none was provided. If you’re planning a stay here, be aware of potential disruptions from external factors that seem to go unaddressed. For now, I cannot recommend this location due to their lack of consideration for guest experience during a time of such disturbance.

Well, first you have to pay an extra 16 USD just to park your car...then they charged me twice, and it took an hour or more to resolve this problem. then there is not even a bottle of water in the room. then the room I had was very noisy, as there is an avenue out side which is very busy and there is traffic noise all night. the shower leaked, so all night I had to hear a drip drip drip it was a cold night and the blanket on the bed was a very thin blanket. I have stayed at cheaper hotels with much...much better conditions.

I heard the safety of Los Angeles (especially around sightseeing area )was getting worse so I choose this hotel. I went to Disney land,dodgers stadium,and beaches, all by Uber. The room was usual,nothing special. The part that I didn’t like was very low Shower pressure. I liked the location of the hotel because it took only 10min by free shuttle bus from LAX and 15min by walking to get to in and out burger. I also liked the breakfast buffet, I could save money and time I guess.

I like its location as I could easily find restaurants for pancakes and fried chicken. And it offered a great deal of breakfast (nice bread and coffee) However, the water heater in my room took too much time to heat up, which was a little bit annoying (especially when the weather is cold).

The hostel is centrally located in Los Angeles, making it convenient for accessing all the city’s tourist attractions via the subway system. The room was clean so no complains.

The Westin was perfect for our short stay before flying home. We chose it as it was close to the airport and the shuttle both to and from made it too easy. A short walk to a few dining options and also car hire within the building is a great option. There is also another car hire place just down the road. Overall very pleased with the Westin and would stay there again.

I arrived two hours before check in and was going to ask if it was okay to hang out in the lobby, I was pretty tired. The desk just went ahead and got me checked in. It was a pretty decent location. My only complaint is…this is going to sound weird but my desk was leaking water. It had a frosted glass top cover, I think there was a bad seal in-between the top cover and the desk top and some condensation was occurring. Water would drip out when I put any weight on it.

I’d been to 4 hotels in S Harbour street in Anaheim but Sheraton is an exception and the best by far. It feels like home. All attractions (restaurants, Disney, stores) are within walkin distance. Beautiful hotel

Not as nice as the pictures portrayed. Very disappointing plus the 55$ a night parking on the hotel grounds not included in your booking and the breakfast buffet is 30$ per adult and 15$ per kid also not included in booking. Also the rooms were pretty worn out and the bathroom was horrible the bathroom bathtub clogged up with a foot of water for over an hour while I had two kids and two adults to shower. Also they wanted a 350$ deposit when I showed up that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking. Overall 2 star out of 5 honestly. They did have a many market but it was 7$ for a water.

I have booked and stayed in Doubletree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown for 3 night. it's great location. near Union train station and subway. The little Tokyo is just around the corner. also 7/11 store just opposite road. The staff is very helpful. I definitely will come back again.

The staff were extremely friendly and there was security in front door, they lock doors at around 8pm and you can only enter with card so I think they did make an effort in keeping the place a safe place. Location wise there are indeed many homeless wandering around especially after sun sets so I would recommend uber if you do go out but day light time I take the bus no problem

It is a clear and tidy hotel with no doubt. However, some of its staff were extremely rude. I went down to ask them if the hotel offered turndown services. The man starred at me then asked, in a highly disrespectful tone, “what do you mean by a turndown service?” Completely shocked that I would encounter such a question at a Nikko hotel, I could not say a word for like ten seconds while that man continued starring at me. How can I reason his behavior if not an intentional embarrassment?

Хороший сервис . Заселили раньше времени при выезде без проблем оставили бесплатно вещи . Также бесплатный чай кофе и вода с лимоном. Отель с историей но была реновация все новое хорошое освещение и современная сантехника.

I was really happy with my stay. The location is right in the heart of Chinatown, surrounded by numerous restaurants and attractions. The highlight was the staff—they are incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. I will definitely book this place again the next time I’m in town!

The hotel is located in downtown, from San Francisco International Airport, we took BART and got off from Powell Street BART station, walk less than 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel front desk is very small, but the staff is always friendly . The room is spacious and tidy, bed is comfortable. We could not hear much noise from outside. The breakfast area is super small, only have 2 seats there , only grab the simple breakfast and go. Overall experience is great.

Not far from metro and in Chinatown. The area is a bit dodgy at night though. Window curtains were quite dirty. But the bed is very comfortable and the view is great. I would stay again

Hotel looks elegant and new. Checked in was quick. Room is big and clean. Near to Union Square and Chinatown. The only negative point is rain shower water pressure is weak. No hand held shower head and no bidet spray. Everything else is perfect.

I have stayed at Amsterdam Hostel multiple times and I am always more than satisfied with my stay. Rooms have thick & comfy mattresses and large windows with fresh air. The staff is friendly and they have security 24 hours a day to keep everyone safe in SF. Definitely coming back!

Good location, restaurants nearby. Room is clean. Only thing that needs to be upgraded is coffee machine which is bit outdated. Food & beverage on main lobby is good and affordable, had a pepperoni pizza which was so good. Would book again when in SF

Without a doubt the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The bathroom door was hanging off its hinge and could only close 90% and the shower had non-functioning blinds on the window so there was no private way to shower. The room should never have been rented to us or anyone. We booked a room for a week at The Fitzgerald for GDC 2023. First thing the room was ready an hour later than check-in time. Not a big deal, but not a great start. We are then informed that because it's a busy time we are being put in a room in the lobby, not the end of the world but it without a doubt was the worst location I've ever been in. You can hear 100% of the noise all day in the lobby meaning no comfort or privacy for you in your room. Now once we got into the room we found a few issues, some stuff had been missed for a long time while cleaning, there was a bag over the smoke alarm. The room is located on the first floor with a window looking out into the street. One of the panes was cracked leading to essentially all street noise leaking into the room 24/7. But without a doubt the biggest issue was that the bathroom door's hinges was mostly torn out of the wall meaning the bathroom door could only shut part way leaving a large gap. I can't imagine why they thought it was okay to rent a room with a non-functioning bathroom door, but it is completely unacceptable. In the bathroom you will find that the toilet is put right up against another door which also leads to the lobby, again making the use of the facilities extremely uncomfortable. There is also a window next to the shower, but the blinds are broken and can't be opened or closed and instead are just stuck halfway. When we informed the front desk, we were told that ”No one can be out there” discounting our discomfort and acting as though it wasn't an issue and seemingly thinking windows don't open, and can't generally be seen through. We asked the front desk about swapping rooms, but as it's GDC they are booked up. So instead we informed them that we will be checking out and moving to another hotel. They said ”We know the room isn't great” still standing by their view that the room is up to The Fitzgerald standards, which I have no choice but to believe it is. They then also told us that because we booked through a 3rd party instead of directly through them their hands were tied in terms of issuing any sort of refund. Looking at their website their ”Check Availability” button links directly to booking(dot)com and the ”Reservations” button links directly to hotels(dot)com so I'm assuming they are trying to funnel unsuspecting people to 3rd party sites so they can then hide behind them when someone inevitably has an issue. So on top of the issues with the room it seems like they have some scummy business practices as well. I can only recommend not to rent a room from this hotel. Sure some of their rooms might be passable, but there is a non-zero chance that they stick you in the worst room you've ever had

Location: There is a bus stop in front that goes to Disneyland. It cost $6 for a pass for 1 day for adult. Some food around the hotel. Room: size is good for 4, 2 adults and 2 children. 2 bath tub in the toilet. Good for family. Aircon noise is abit noisy. Otherwise all is good Breakfast: Not alot of option but quite good. The kids love to do the waffle in mickey mouse shape. Overall, good value for us.

Great location. Very convenient! Friendly staff. Hotel itself aged look and feel. Water was stopped between 11 pm to 6 am for the entire building, On the second day. Could not shower or anything for that day. We came in for a convention we worked till midnight and then had to leave following morning at 6 pm. COULD NOT SHOWER!!! The room wasn’t cleaned for two days, we had to call the front desk for each day. Not the great experience. Hope our next stay will be better…

Stayed here for a week while visiting disneyland with family. We had two rooms booked both on the concierge level (18). We arrived at the hotel early around 1pm and were surprised that both our rooms were ready for early check in. Spent time at the hotel enjoying the club lounge and pool that day. Hotel was busy with conferences going on and a convention going on at the convention center. It felt crowded but the hotel was properly staffed. We never had to wait for food, drinks, or elevators. It was only a 15-20 minute walk to Disney or a quick walk and bus ride over that picks you up right by the Hilton and drops you off right at the gates to Disney. The club level was open Monday-Friday for grab and go drinks/snacks 6:30am to 10pm and Saturday/Sunday for grab and go drinks/snacks 12pm to 10pm. Breakfast daily, appetizers in the afternoon, and deserts at night. Saturday/Sunday full breakfast buffet in the restaurant. The staff in the club lounge were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely return in the future.

Stayed here recently. The rooms were clean and tidy but are now somewhat outdated. Could do with an upgrade. Also charged $23 parking fee per night which is a rip off. Seems to be the trend. Reasonably priced. No breakfast included. Close to Disneyland.

The hotel has excellent location. It is a 5 minute walk from the Anaheim convention center. Also walking distance to Disneyworld. It has a gift shop, a coffee shop and a restaurant. The reception people were great, professional, helpful, ready to assist. On arrival and departure we got 🍪 cookies!!! How not to love a hotel which greets guests with cookies. We were able to pay discounted rates for parking right in front of the hotel. Our suite was very pleasant. Nice bedroom with TV, a chest of drawers, a closet and a safe. The safe needed a new battery but they changed it quickly. The furniture in the sitting room was quite dated, especially the sofa- but fully functional. The room has a fridge and a coffee station. It lacked the supplies every day . I had to ask for refills and still didn’t receive.the housekeeping would leave 1 coffee creamer for 2 people for example.For myself I asked for a tea bag and got it only one on 1 out of 5 days we spent there. The housekeeping staff overall did substandard job… Water bottles which in most hotels of the world tend to be free nowadays were $2.75. The bathroom supplies were basic. I liked the large size bottles. The bathroom did not have a fan or night light. On a couple of occasions there was acidic smell from the toilet. The walls allowed for noise from the adjacent rooms to penetrate. The bedding was very comfortable. Overall it is a good hotel and it was convenient for us during the conference.

Nevertheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall experience. Great hotel! Has vending machines, ice machine, a mini store, and free breakfast!!! Lots of near by super stores, restaurants, and shopping as well.

BEWARE! What a pretty nightmare this hotel stay was. When I booked a much needed vacation I happened to use card with a low limit instead of my main card. Most hotels don’t have an issue switching cards without fuss. Not here!!! This one took a LOT of working to do so, then charged over $1400 on my card, had to go back down and get at least one taken off then their system went right ahead put it right back on my card. Hours and hours of phone calls and front desk visits per day, all for what should have amounted to a $600 stay (including taxes and $25 per night valet). The staff there were all warm, welcoming, and did their best to make everyone’s stay smooth and easy. So I don’t believe this was their fault in the least, but rather a techno issue or something else. They really worked hard to try settle this but the accounting system continued to ruin our time. The food was meh. An effort is being made at providing something unique, with many of the dishes, but they were lacking flavor, proper temperature and seasoning. We got the onion tart (which was not a tart but more of a croissant/roll and it was stone cold in the middle) and the “gnocchi” as starters. The purple dumplings more resembled Spätzle than gnocchi and were barely there, swimming in a pool of a relatively flavorless broth and a bunch of tiny tomatoes and peas with shavings of Parmesan. I remarked that it was something I might come up with if there was nothing else in the fridge and I was desperate (but I’d still have seasoned it better). The salad wasn’t much better. Again, warm-ish and we were sitting right next to the kitchen, with only one another table being served. Everything needed more seasoning and the chicken on my salad as so dry and overcooked I couldn’t finish it. But the service was wonderful. The pool is lovely but no hot tub means swimming with (likely) urinating children is your only option. Plenty of seating and towels, and a lot of security to get into the pool was over the top considering you have to have a room key just to get to the floor it’s on. No room service. Weird. Bar was good! Valet was excellent, and actually having help with our numerous bags was a welcome change. So I’m rooting for the staff, but Hilton, you need to get it together because YOUR BS ruined my whole vacation then made me too broke to do anything about it. NEVER. AGAIN.
