"I loved the room, the pool, the location, the view of the mountains, the attentive staff, but the wife and son were not my favorite. The 2 local staff work diligently for 12 hours a day every day cooking and cleaning the entire building on their own. They're constantly moving, but they always stop to smile at a guest and ask if they can help with something. The wife is so rude to the local staff. She screeches at them like she's yelling across a field instead of from the dining room table where she plops herself and listens to dramas at full volume on her phone the entire day when she isn't napping. The son often holds down the reception desk in the afternoons while he's playing mmorpg's streaming at his laptop and becoming very annoyed if his quest is interrupted. The pace could be such high-quality of only the Vietnamese owners were."

"Let's start with the good things. The reception staff, and especially Mr. TONTARN, is a great example of excellent service. he made us feel like he was with us from the beginning of our stay to the end of our stay at the hotel. 😁💪 He offered us tour packages at a reasonable price, and The hotel itself is large and luxurious, The pool is lovely, pleasant and fun to get into after a full day outside the room. The gym is small but very efficient. but the dining room is not diverse enough for the level of the hotel. I would have expected more variety. The coffee in the coffee machine is of poor quality, which is a pretty shame for this level of AMARI Hotels. The room cleaning service is lacking. There was a day when we arrived from a long trip and the room was not clean. No one cleaned it. Unfortunately, I had to leave the room for an hour to have it cleaned. Even after they cleaned the room, they forgot to put basic items, like water and body soap, which I asked them to replenish, and so far I haven't received. I had to use another hand soap that was in the room. The hotel staff apologized for this, and it's good that they did."

"Good location as it is away from the night market which is very noisy and loud at night. Can get peaceful sleep here. Can also access YouTube from TV otherwise local TV has nothing to view. Proprietress is helpful to carry your luggage up staircase to room. Other than that, she is not helpful to give information which you can get from Laos visitor centre. Very easy to walk around but do not expect much to see."

"It was a comfortable stay. The room was really big and clean. The bed was good. The balcony was fine, it wasn’t private by any means though. Breakfast was fine, an egg making station, fruits, some dishes, coffee and juice. The location was okay, was a bit noisy due to being on the same street as the night market, so could be difficult for sensitive sleepers. The male front desk staff was really friendly and welcoming, the female tried to up charge/sell me on several things, so be careful."

There's more than enough deck chairs around the pool and on the rooftop to lounge at, and to watch the countdown fireworks that the staff launch from the entrance. The staff is very friendly and welcoming every time I walk past the lobby. The location is very convenient and the breakfast is very worth the price. Other than the buffet on offer (which rotates daily), you can still choose an item off the ala carte menu. They also allow refilling of water bottles at breakfast, which is great for both the wallet and the environment. Activities and laundry service that they offer are also priced pretty conveniently. I'll definitely stay here again should I come back to Vang Vieng."

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Vang Vieng. The night market and a 7-Eleven are just 200 meters away, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars. The breakfast was decent. However, during check-in, I was in line, and a Caucasian woman came after me, but the front desk surprisingly started assisting her first. I wasn't going to let that slide, so I immediately insisted on being served next. To my surprise, the female receptionist then proceeded to handle both my check-in and the Caucasian woman's at the same time! The service was lacking, but the front desk was very eager to add me on WeChat to promote tour packages. I've stayed at various hotels under this chain, including Eastin Grand Phayathai and OZO, and this Vang Vieng location is probably the worst. It's likely an older property, as the TV had static, and the toilet seat was broken. You don't even need a key card to go up to your room. If it's around 300-400 [currency], maybe it's acceptable, but anything more than that, I'd say skip it.

The hotel is not quite new, that is obvious. The mirror on the room was missing, broken out by force. There is no WiFi except in the reception area. The photo of the building shows balconies at all rooms on the photo side. But my room had none. There was no daily room service. For the rest it was okay. Well maintained, clean, quiet inside and mountain view from the windows. Small fridge, AC, full working bathroom. (Long waiting for warm water) The breakfast buffet was great. The swimming pool in front of the entrance was good. The seating area around poor. I really missed a bigger and nicer area, perhaps garden like around. Especially for I had no balcony. I would go there again for sleeping and having breakfast. But for holidays I want to have a decent place outdoors as well.

We stayed in the deluxe villa for 2 nights and it was well worth it. Just chilling out on the deck and having breakfast whilst enjoying the rice field with the mountain as the backdrop is just magical. Not only was the setting but the bed was comfortable, the room was very cozy, aircon in good working order (as the heat can be unbearable during the day), amenities, shower etc were all perfect. I couldn’t get the TV working but it did not bother us so much as we were enjoying the peace and tranquility. I highly recommened waking up at dawn and take a walk through the rice fields to soak it all in whilst noone is around. Perfect time to meditate or do yoga during the summer season. Staff were also very welcoming and friendly, and would attend to our needs when required. And f you are in two minds between here and a hotel in town, I’d say here is by far more exceptional.

The stay was okay, but unfortunately the staff were not very friendly and didn’t even greet guests, which made me feel unwelcome. Also, the prices for renting a scooter were almost twice as high as at other places nearby. Overall, it was fine, but I expected a warmer atmosphere and fairer prices.

Wonderful hotel! Cozy, clean bungalows. We had a bungalow with a magnificent mountain view from both the bathroom and the balcony. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, which we used several times and really enjoyed! The room had all the amenities and was quiet. The hotel is generally located a bit off the main road, so it's quiet on the property. The only minor issue was the limited food options at breakfast. There aren't many guests at the hotel, so it seems they only set out a small buffet and don't replenish it once the food runs out. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would gladly come back again.

Absolutely amazing stay - it's clear that the owners take pride in their hotel. The pool and pool area is incredibly clean. The breakfast is fantastic, fresh fruit (varied and lots of it) contained in a fridge (so fresh, cold and no bugs like a lot of other hotels). Option of cooked breakfast every morning (eggs your way). The gentleman running the hotel is so helpful, he booked several tours for us, getting us a good price and being patient when we changed our plans several times. The communal areas are incredibly clean, the staff are always working hard doing something for the hotel. The location is excellent - walkable to everything in Vang Vieng, near some nice restaurants (Green, Vela, beats and bites). Everything in the room worked perfectly. The shower had great pressure and great temperature. Bed was extremely comfortable and the TV was loaded with apps to watch TV (we used Plex as it had English language shows and films). The bathroom has soap, shampoo and fresh towels daily. The rooftop is amazing, we actually used this instead of going to rooftop bars. The hotel sells beer in the fridge at reception. Highly highly recommend this hotel. Genuinely we could not find any fault with this hotel at all, we over heard many guests booking to stay extra nights expressing how happy they were with the stay at the hotel and the breakfast.

Vang Vieng is a small town, and you can easily walk everywhere. It rained the entire time I was there, so I didn't get to see any hot air balloons. However, I could see longtail boats passing by the hotel's riverside every morning. I didn't visit any of the further attractions because I thought it would be unsafe to go into the mountains with the rain. Overall, it was a good experience; even with the rain, enjoying a Lao hotpot in town was quite nice.

Upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist, Nong Suan, checked us in and informed us that our room had been upgraded to the best suite on the seventh floor. She was very friendly and welcoming, which was excellent! The room itself was spacious with mountain views and a view of the pool. It had all the amenities one would expect from a hotel. The TV channels were limited and only in Chinese. Regarding the room conditions, there are several areas that need improvement. For instance, there were water stains on the ceiling around the air conditioning vents in both the living room and bedroom. In the bathroom, there were yellow stains around the toilet, and the showerhead and the area where you stand to shower had stains. The silicone sealant around the sink was moldy and black.
