"Kamer, bediening en ontbijt waren prima. Maar 's avonds in het restaurant was het een ramp. Eerst bestellen mijn vrouw en ik vanop de kaart, als aperitief een witte porto en een witte Martini. Na een tiental minuten komt men ons zeggen dat beide niet meer voorradig zijn. Dus dan maar een biertje en een plat watertje. Als eten bestelden we een Thaise groenteschotel en een pasta scampi. Weer na een tijdje kregen we te horen dat de pasta met scampi op was. Dan maar 2 maal de Thaise groenteschotel gekozen. Na een vijftal minuten kwam men ons vertellen dat ze die schotel ook niet konden opdienen. Dus hebben we toen beleefd, maar toch geergerd, gezegd dat we ons avondmaal in de stad gingen zoeken."

"Great location, right in the town centre with easy access to shops and restaurants. They have free all-day, self-service coffee, tea and hot chocolate, plus a water dispenser in the lobby. No-frills in the room - basic toiletries, good shower and flatscreen, but no kettle, no shower cap, no slippers, and no laundry service. Communication with reception is via chat but there's good free wifi throughout. Daily breakfast was scrambled eggs, meats, mushrooms, tomato, cucumber, cheese, bread, pastries, yogurt and cereal with a selection of coffees and teas. Oh, rooms are not soundproof so if you're a light sleeper, ask for one facing inside, not facing the street."

Need to be careful when driving into that expo , ikea and the hotel zone as they located along with each others and shared the same directory board which the indicator bit small you might miss the hotel car park entrance

HuanqiuyuzhoulvxingjiaThis hotel was the most impressive one on my trip through the Netherlands, Germany, France, Luxembourg, and Belgium. It's located right in the heart of Ghent's scenic riverfront, a World Heritage site, one of Europe's top ten design hotels, and on the list of the world's top 100 hotels! Staying here, it truly lives up to its reputation. It's incredibly well-designed, opulent, a genuine antique with a strong sense of culture and history. The classic Baroque style is evident, and the furniture and decor are all traditional European. It exudes the luxurious feel of an ancient European palace! The breakfast was also excellent, especially the breakfast restaurant, which has fantastic views!

ShufuyouThis hotel, a former military barracks in Ghent, champions eco-friendliness and creativity! Just look at that bowl of wontons—can you believe this was made in a hotel restaurant in a medieval city in Belgium? Even Lao Gan Ma chili crisp is available at the front desk shop!
I particularly love the color scheme here: the blue feels so luxurious, and the pink is wonderfully vibrant!
The breakfast is plentiful with lots of options. I recommend booking a room with breakfast included; watching the people in the breakfast room feels like being back in college—it's a whole room full of young people, truly a hotel designed for a younger crowd.

AntravelerThe hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The lobby is on the smaller side, but it has a cozy, homey feel, like a family living room. The staff were all very warm and friendly, even helping to heat up food. It's a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, but there are plenty of tram options nearby. There are also lots of convenient and tasty restaurants and cafes in the area!

Great location with everything within walking distance.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options.
Service was outstanding. As we had to check out at 4am on our last day, we informed the hotel that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the breakfast. The team kindly prepared a takeaway food bag for us, which was a very thoughtful gesture.

hhorizonExcellent! The decor is stylish, and it's clean and quiet. Although it's not in the city center, public transport is very convenient. Finding a queen-size bed in a standard room in Europe is a huge bonus, needless to say. The long-haired, black-haired female receptionist was very enthusiastic. The only minor downside was the tissue box, which only had about five sheets – I wonder if they forgot to replace it.

Travel WWThis hotel has nothing except the front desk. It is almost like a homestay. The rooms are not on the same floor as the front desk. Apart from its excellent location, there is nothing else worth recommending. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know how it is listed as a four-star hotel.

Giles LawrenceThe room was fine. We needed extra bedding and 2 nice staff came immediately and made the extra bed for us. However! We arrived with a reservation confirmation of 2 adults 1 child. Their confirmation had 2 people therefore the room they had was too small. They did have another room for 3 they said we could have but it would be 30 euros extra. At the time we simply agreed and paid as there was a big queue behind us and the amount was small. Buttons seemed like a con to extract more money from us, it wasn't our mistake as we had confirmation for 3 people at the designated price. It's a shame as I really liked Ghent and will certainly return but there are other hotels to choose from.

Hands down best view from the room! Booked another night as I had a really good impression and experience - wish I had stayed longer! Bed is comfy and the room is...roomy enough. The ladies at the front were exceptionally accommodating for when I had issues checking out and checking back in. Staff is overall awesome! The only shower room is fairly well kept. For a small amount there will be everything that you will/might need: from towels, laundry/dryer, tea/coffee/beer/snacks, luggage storage, to kayaks. Didn't have to use the common kitchen but it seemed equipped. Really can't go wrong with the location - everything is within reach and the are is just simply beautiful day/night.
