Had everything one would need. A tad dated but service was good and free breakfast is always a bonus. Room bathtub needs modernizing.

Got a good checked in and request amenities service is good. Staying for 5 days with my whole family. On the third day our bathroom flooded I don’t know what happened. They transfer as to a queen bed and a couch. Just accepted it as I do t want to deal with the incident overnight. Fully understand if no rooms available to accommodate us. But they did attended to our needs so far. But pretty much over all stay it was a ok. The hotel seems old but maybe preserving the looks of the hotel. Needs some upgrading.

Great hotel...friendly staff.....hot breakfast. Pool was a little high on chemicals ND on the warmer side but still great!!

Great hotel in a great location. The hotel is located very close to many stores and a theatre. The hotel also provides umbrellas for the occasional rain showers. The breakfast staff were very friendly, and constantly checking in with people to ensure everything was good. This is the perfect launchpad for touring the area. And if we are ever back in Yarmouth, we would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located close to everything, but is in an area under constriction for the last 3 years. Hotel is clean, but dated. No fans it the washroom, so a hot shower leaves everything damp. Premium price for average rooms. 3rd stay there, likely the last.

I had a very good stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Truro. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel served a hot breakfast with pre-made omelets, sausages, potatoes, waffles, and bagels, plus a range of cold options. Free coffee and tea were available all day,l. I also used the gym, which had everything I needed for my workout. My only critique is that the breakfast setup was quite wasteful, with everything served in disposable containers and plastic cups. While they do offer recycling, it would be great to see composting added for unfinished food. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice to stay in the historic hotel. As such, the room showed it's age which is not necessarily bad. It had a charm and warmness not found in most modern hotel rooms. The full breakfast was definitely the highlight. It was not advertised as such on the booking site but should be. I was a bit disappointed that the internet was not password protected. I was reluctant to leave my computer on too long for fear of hacking.

The hotel was easy to locate and conveniently situated. Our room was clean and equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable overnight stay. One aspect of the room layout that felt a bit awkward was the bathroom configuration—the shower and toilet were in a separate room while the sink was located outside of it, which made bathroom use slightly inconvenient. The indoor pool area was nice, though the water could have been a little warmer. Additionally, there were no towels available when we arrived and we had to locate a staff member to obtain some. The onsite parking option for our three-week trip was greatly appreciated and eliminated one potential stress before our travels. The shuttle service to Halifax Airport was punctual and reliable, getting us to the airport safely and on time. The complimentary breakfast was decent, although the hot food items were somewhat slow to be replenished, resulting in a short wait. Overall, this is a solid option for an overnight stay, particularly if you have an early flight from Halifax Airport the next day.

I recently stayed at Chateau Bedford, and had a great experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you're coming from the airport. It’s also close to COSTCO and IKEA, which was super handy for some quick shopping. Getting to downtown and the main shopping malls was also easy, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay better. The room was very clean, and the facilities were good, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area.
