Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

We travelled to DongXing as a family of 4 and stay at the best available hotel here. This is by far the best DongXing has to offer. The rooms is very spacious and clean. This is the 2nd time we had stayed at Ramada Plaza. The location is perfect for travel over to Vietnam as its only a couple of mins walk away. And a big plus as we're right by the main shopping area of DongXing. Lots of cuisines to choose from and fantastic value for money. Will be back sometime in the next couple of yrs with visa ready to cross over to Japan. A final note is the view from our rooms. Vietnam right on the other side.

The Hotel is one of the best in Liuzhou, if not the best. Room is clean and room service is quick and thorough.The view is one of a kind, seeing all of Liuzhou and overlooking the river. Breakfast is tasty and the kitchen staff is very friendly and will cater your special diet requirements. Even though the the employees don't speak much english (Reception desk or buffet workers), their manager is extremely helpful, speaks english, and will go beyond your expectations to help you and resolve any issues that arise. Wouldn't try any other hotel when traveling to Liuzhou.

This hotel is very conveniently located at the top of the pedestrian street - is an easy ten minute stroll to the pagodas and another 5 or so minutes to the elephant trunk hill. The friendly service, cleanliness and facilities are all fantastic. The travel desk helped me book a river cruise - very easy with the pick up location for the bus shuttle just a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was great but also go for dinner and have the delicious cold beans and Guilin rice noodle dishes. Special thank you to Patrick for the excellent service and help. Would definitely stay here again!!

Hotel Wanda Realm Liuzhou is a 5-star Hotel located adjacent to Wanda Plaza Liuzhou, so you can get everything very easily without hassle. The hotel lobby is grande, the facilities is complete and in good condition, and my room is very clean. The buffet restaurant menu is also nice with a very reasonable price. In addition, the front desk staffs and the bell boy are very kind and polite, eventhough with a very limited English. It was a very pleasant stay in Wanda Realm Liuzhou. The hotel is located in New City, but still within 10-15 min driving to the Old City, where most of the Tourist Attraction located.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. I also really enjoyed the food—it was delicious and exceeded my expectations. On top of that, the location was perfect, with convenient access to everything I needed. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again!

Good hotel. Breakfast had less desirable western options than in the past but still pretty good. Nice swimming pool and smaller shallow pool for kids. Hotel room was clean and they delivered a small fruit plate for free. Area by the river is quite nice and there is a park directly behind the hotel.

Friendly people and helpful. Clean and spacious room. W e booked for 1 night and after extended 1 more. They offer to us upgrade room with nice view. Breakfast is ok. The only thing will be to add more fruits. The location is perfect as there are all the activities walking distance from the hotel. After the first day of activities, we reached the room really tired and the receptionist saw and offered foot bath tea herbs for free. We really enjoyed it! Thank you! ☺️

If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.

Located opposite a pretty lake, nice for a walk, the hotel is good for leisure and business travellers. The rooms are large and well equipped. The shower was particularly nice and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is very clean. Fortunately I was with my Chinese speaking partner otherwise check in may have been a longer process. The breakfast was also fine but more orientated to local audience - albeit there is bread, fruit, eggs. Coffee at breakfast is not so good.
