The hotel room was honestly the best one I've stayed in in Camrose and I've stayed in 98% of them recently (going through separation)
Very clean & not cluttered I enjoyed my stay allot!
The night staff ( more like night angel) even helped me out when I went to shower & had forgotten my razor ! I have nothing bad to say whatsoever :) keep up the good work Camrose Resort & ****** Hotel !

AAnonymous UserAn unforgettable trip! Lake Louise is incredibly famous, and the shuttle to Moraine Lake (thank you, Trip.com, for helping with the booking) was great. Of course, this expensive hotel is made by its stunning environment. The tall, handsome, curly-haired young man at the front desk who checked us in was very polite and incredibly nice (apologies for not getting his name). The staff in the lobby were very friendly, proactively asking if we needed help, and we were able to check in early without a hitch. The lake-view room on the second floor (actually the third) was perfect. Although the room was a bit small, you could tell the hotel put thought into its layout and design, as we were able to fit two suitcases (24-inch and 20-inch). All of this made for a pleasant stay. Even though conversations in the hallway could be heard clearly, it was still quiet at night with no excessive noise.
There are many hiking trails around, and a 2-day, 1-night stay allows you to fully explore Lake Louise.
The breakfast service on the second day was excellent, and there were even Chinese-speaking staff who warmly welcomed us.
If I had to mention any shortcomings, due to space constraints, the shower glass partition didn't have a door (I'm not sure if other rooms have partitions), and the hot water pressure was low, so you could only take a quick rinse.

AAnonymous UserThe receptionist was very cheerful and the room was very clean! It is also located conveniently in Downtown Calgary. However, the temperature of the shower can be a bit tricky to adjust as it will either be too hot or too cold. But I was very satisfied overall and would recommend this hotel to fellow solo travellers!

QQingqingcao132The hotel is located on the edge of town, but it's not too far to walk to the town center, about a 10-15 minute stroll. The room amenities are quite basic, showing that the hotel is likely a bit older. Free parking is available in the hotel's underground garage. It's not great value for money, but then again, hotels in Banff are generally expensive.

GGuest UserThe Hotel is beautiful. From the main entrance, to the rooms and the Little Chief restaurant. Beds were very comfortable. Love the design elements of the room! Each staff encounter was excellent, they always exhibited a high level of customer service. Really appreciated the dining experience! Again the staff were very accommodating and approachable. We chose Indigenous courses that were excellent, although the portions were quite large. We attended the Colin James concert, which was epic! The venue was great! Perfect Birthday celebration!

GGuest UserI went to the front desk in the middle of the night to ask for a wine opener, and the staff was very kind and even opened it for me, which I really appreciated.
In addition to the room card key lock, there were two manual latches, which made it safer. The vending machine in the hallway was also convenient. The free airport shuttle was also nice, and the breakfast fruit was especially fresh and delicious. 😊 One thing I wish was that the amenities included regular hand soap in addition to facial soap.

AAnonymous UserIt was a beautiful hotel with breathtaking mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere. The fresh mountain air was incredibly relaxing. The room was spotless, and the bathtub was especially comfortable.
All of the staff were warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. They made my stay even more enjoyable. I'd love to stay here again.

삼삼손44The price was reasonable, and it wasn't far from the downtown core compared to other hotels, which made it easy to get to souvenir shops and supermarkets. Parking wasn't super spacious, but there was always a spot available. There's a gas station right next door, so it was convenient to fill up before parking if you had a rental or your own car. The front desk is in the building right next door, and checking in and out was a breeze.
The best part was that the deposit refund was processed immediately. It was a huge relief not having to constantly monitor whether I'd get my deposit back, which is often a source of stress on trips. That was definitely the highlight.

We booked the balcony room hoping to get a better view. We have rooms with big trees in front. When asked if we can change rooms, he won’t change since it’s not booked direct.
The balcony room has little heat as the heater is smaller and the room is colder.

GGuest UserThe room was tiny. I wouldn't recommend the standard room if you have two kids; you'd probably need a suite to fit everyone. The hotel breakfast was the best I've had in two weeks in Canada. The buffet offered great value for money, with plenty of fruit, make-your-own waffles, and smoked salmon. The Continental option alone was more than enough, plus you could order a Starbucks coffee, and refills were freshly brewed, which was a nice touch.
The hotel also has mini-golf for kids, open from 10 AM to 8 PM. However, there was an Asian female staff member who seemed a bit discriminatory. We checked in at 7:40 PM. I saw two white children next to us borrowing clubs to play, so I asked if we could play too. She said it was almost closing time and we could come back tomorrow. Yet, after we dropped our luggage in the room and came downstairs at 7:45 PM, I saw a white father and son coming out with golf clubs. I was quite upset, so I went back to confront her. Seeing that I was angry, she then said, ”Fine, you can have them, but they must be returned to the front desk by 8 PM.” I took them out of spite. Honestly, this kind of differential treatment was quite unpleasant, but everything else was great.

TTravel KweenWe had a large family room in the basement that was conveniently located next to the spa. Our check in was super friendly and the room was large and very spacious. The kitchen was lovely with lots of special touches.
We had a few issues with the room, we booked a family room bath tub and there was no tub. Unfortunately the drain in the shower was disgusting, and the tiles were broken, we asked for another room but they had none available. We were told we could shower in the spa room. The spa wasn’t working and when we got in the shower they’d run out of shower gel.
The sofa bed isn’t suitable for anyone as it’s very uncomfortable. Our very small teenager tried to sleep on it and she felt every spring.
Despite our issues I would recommend this hotel as the location was good, staff were lovely and the breakfast was decent.
