GGuest UserAfter a long search on Trip.com, I finally settled on this hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The lobby was spacious and bright as soon as I walked in. They even have a self-service check-in area for Trip.com VIPs, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with the room – it was large, well-lit, and fully equipped. The in-room smart speaker (Xiao Du) was a fantastic touch, playing soft music that helped me drift off to sleep peacefully. The cleanliness was impeccable, and there was a subtle, pleasant fragrance. When I ran out of water, I contacted the butler, and a fresh supply was delivered immediately – the service was simply outstanding. The hotel restaurant served a delicious dinner at a reasonable price, with plenty of options to choose from, making for a very satisfying meal.
What really stood out was its proximity to the ancient city. After dinner, it was just a few minutes' walk to Youhong Bridge in the heart of the ancient city. I even met an old lady selling flower wreaths. Strolling through the ancient city, wearing a locally woven flower wreath, was a truly delightful experience.

GGuest UserI stayed in a wooden cabin villa with a huge balcony. The driver was very punctual for station pick-ups and drop-offs, and the front desk service was excellent. The auntie who made rice noodles for us at breakfast was also very kind. The staff and service here are all wonderful. Plus, the hotel is very clean. Even though it's been rainy these past few days in Zhangjiajie, the dehumidification in the room was great at keeping things dry! Waking up to beautiful views from the window every day really boosted my mood.

GGuest UserThe staff here are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless, and the bedding was super comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. I especially loved the design where you change into slippers – it really adds to the clean and tidy feel. The decor is very tasteful, and the cat is absolutely adorable! We got caught in heavy rain at Tianmen Mountain today, and a big thank you to the lady who helped us with our luggage when we got back – so thoughtful and kind! I'll definitely be back, and hopefully, I can stay for a few more days next time.

GGuest UserMoved from this hotel from the Forest park vicinity for it's proximity to Tianmen Mountain, my next visit. Hot days and although is close enough to the tourist center to go to the mountain, in over 35 degrees didi might be necessary. On the other hand, if one has tone to explore around there's quite a few options of local small stores and restaurants.
In the morning of the visit, using route B (fewer people, even on Sunday) i was able to climb 999 steps very nicely and arrived second to the top (stopped for photos) and was able to navigate the top of the mountain almost alone until midmorning. Then people mountain people sea and left after visiting everything, avoided all queues.
The hotel doesn't really help with the booking (as others did) and delegate it to a tourist company in the same building. Hotel communicates very well in English, the tour company not so much, and didn't find them particularly helpful. Certainly can't get the hotel discounts one would get from others, so I recommend using trip to book the Tianmen mountain if you come here.
All in all a good experience, and i still find it preferable to sleep nearby, if i had come here from the forest park hotels i would have been stuck in queues and surrounded by many people through the experience of the mountain.
In the evening before Tianmen visit, check out the 72 wonders house. Well within reach by didi.

LLucasdexiaotoumamaBefore checking in, I saw reviews saying the hotel was old and run-down, which made me nervous. I originally booked three nights but changed it to one. Even though it was a non-changeable reservation, the hotel quickly approved my request for a refund. However, after checking in, I found it wasn't as dilapidated or dirty as the reviews claimed. It was very tidy and clean, and not nearly as old as I expected. The river view from the 27th-floor bar is absolutely stunning! When I checked in, the front desk attendant was really enthusiastic and upgraded us to a river-view room. We could relax on the sofa in our room and take in the entire river scenery – super enjoyable! So, we extended our stay for another night, and they even gave us Zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). Five-star rating! I'll definitely be back to stay here again!

Overall, the accommodation style far surpasses other hotels in the same category. If you're visiting Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend staying here for a very comfortable experience! 👍

GGuest UserOn my trip to Changsha ZETA PLANET, Lin, the welcome ambassador on the sixth-floor lobby, was the absolute highlight of my entire 'interstellar' experience. The moment I stepped out of the cosmic elevator, I was greeted with such warmth. It wasn't just a routine, robotic welcome; she immediately noticed my heavy luggage and proactively offered to help. She meticulously explained the Galaxy T-stage, the Runway Bar, and breakfast timings, even discreetly sharing some niche photo spots within the hotel and a local guide to authentic Changsha snacks. Her whole demeanor was relaxed and comfortable, professional yet down-to-earth. She perfectly balanced W's trendy, flamboyant vibe with truly thoughtful and heartwarming service. What could have been a cold, futuristic lobby felt incredibly welcoming and homey thanks to Lin's attentiveness. If you're staying at W Changsha, you absolutely have to commend this welcome ambassador on the sixth floor!

GGuest UserThis hotel is right by the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. For this location and price, it's absolutely fantastic value for money. The location is superb: walk straight out of the lobby for about 60 meters, turn right, and you'll see the Wulingyuan entrance gate. Cross the road and there's a small river where you can relax or skip stones. If you walk straight out of the lobby for 30 meters, turn left through the side entrance, and then turn left again, you'll find a street packed with popular restaurants, fruit stalls, and BBQ stands. From the East Gate exit of the forest park, you can take a small path directly to the hotel's side entrance escalator, which leads right to the lobby. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything is delicious, and the freshly ground coffee and fruit juices are excellent. The hotel lobby also offers coffee and lemonade. The front desk staff are very helpful and efficient with check-ins, luggage storage, and operating the elevators.

GGuest UserFirst off, the hotel's location is super close to the Furong Ancient Town scenic area entrance. The hotel staff (specifically, the guy) was so thoughtful, offering pick-up and drop-off services for both arrival and departure. There are plenty of small restaurants to choose from around the hotel. The rooms are also nice, with the toilet and shower area separated. Housekeeping even brought complimentary fruit every day. The hotel's Chinese restaurant and breakfast were quite tasty too. Overall, the environment is great! 👍
