Manxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.' **Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down. **Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare. **Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable! **Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests. **In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay. **Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this.

Ctrip reviews did not disappoint! I found this hotel based on the excellent reviews, and its location is fantastic, right at the entrance of Hongqiao Gate, making travel incredibly convenient. There's a direct shuttle bus to the high-speed train station right outside (7 yuan per person; ride-sharing services here have a very low acceptance rate). Since there were three of us, they upgraded us to a triple room. The room was spacious and had an 'Xiaodu' smart speaker. The service was excellent; all our requests were handled immediately. During peak season, I'm sure it gets very busy, and the breakfast selection is quite diverse.

Amazing stay! The hotel really thought of everything — free umbrellas, snacks and instant noodles available if you’re in a hurry, an amazing breakfast with lots of options, and free laundry with clothes ready the next morning. The staff were kind and helpful, and everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the massage service. It was quite expensive and unfortunately not a good experience at all. It’s a scam. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming and always ready to help. A special thank you to Cherry, who was always available via WhatsApp and helped us with everything we needed throughout our stay. The restaurant staff were also amazing. A very special mention to Ms. H.Q. Du at the breakfast restaurant — she is honestly the sweetest! She went above and beyond every single day and helped us with literally everything. She made our mornings even better. ❤️ The rooms are very clean, the swimming pool is beautiful, and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. The location is also perfect for exploring Zhangjiajie, with easy access to the main attractions. We stayed here with so much pleasure and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

The staff here are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless, and the bedding was super comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. I especially loved the design where you change into slippers – it really adds to the clean and tidy feel. The decor is very tasteful, and the cat is absolutely adorable! We got caught in heavy rain at Tianmen Mountain today, and a big thank you to the lady who helped us with our luggage when we got back – so thoughtful and kind! I'll definitely be back, and hopefully, I can stay for a few more days next time.

We had a relaxing time in Zhangjiajie which sounds hard to believe considering all the walking and stairs that’s done visiting the main attractions!! 😂😂 When we returned from a full on day sore and tired, we were offered massages (paid services) even late into the night. We were a short walk away from a variety of restaurants and street food which made it so convenient to explore without having to venture off too far from the hotel. The location was close to the airport and a short Didi ride away from the main Railway Station. Our view was stunning to say the least. With the room option we booked we got a personal butler which is what made our experience in Zhangjiajie smooth and seamless. She went above and beyond to arrange our activities, followed up to see when we were landing, upgraded our room for early check in and was always available to answer my few thousand questions at the most random times since making the booking. I booked the hotel in July and since then had been in touch with our butler who started making our arrangements far in advance. Her advice and suggestions with our itinerary made it easy to navigate Zhangjiajie. I thought I knew how to get around watching a few hundred TikTok videos but having a local overlook what I planned and ironing out the details made it that much easier. She was kind always smiling and just a pleasure to deal with. Lillie (our personal butler) you were amazing! Thank you for all your help, patience and suggestions. It truly made our visit in Zhangjiajie a memorable experience.

The room felt fantastic, and the breakfast spread was incredibly rich. I had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the food thoroughly – truly delightful! This hotel is absolutely amazing; Zhangjiajie Tianmen Qian Hotel is top-notch! Highly recommend it!!! The outdoor areas were also great, and the transportation was convenient too.

Sun Valley absolutely deserves a five-star rating! The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, the air is fresh, and it's perfect for photos. The room was spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail, making for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. The staff were excellent, providing attentive service without being intrusive. My timing was perfect for this trip, as the large fields of rapeseed flowers were in full bloom. Overall, a fantastic experience!

As always, when I come to Changsha, I choose the InterContinental Hotel. Guest relations specialist Lily called me to confirm my arrival time, arrange the room, and provide important information, such as the lighting schedule for the outdoor light show, and the times and locations for breakfast and dinner. The room was clean and tidy, and the floor attendant greeted me with a smile. The room cleaning was meticulous and thoughtful. Just a short walk downstairs is the Xiangjiang River, which is very convenient for a stroll. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich, with my favorite soy milk and fried dough sticks, and mini glutinous rice dumplings. The dinner buffet was also superb. There's a large underground parking lot, making parking absolutely convenient. Photo 1 is breakfast, Photo 2 is the Yunnan restaurant, and Photos 3 to 6 are the dinner buffet.

The hotel is very close to the South Railway Station, just about a ten-minute drive, which is super convenient for business travelers. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The decor is quite stylish and feels very fresh. The front desk and customer service staff were responsive, friendly, and attentive. The breakfast had a great variety, and the staff even extended my breakfast till 2 PM for me. Lunch was also very good and filling. The pool wasn't crowded, and the water was crystal clear; it was really nice to have the 25-meter pool all to myself. All in all, booking the W Hotel was a great experience.
