Hotel Dengan Sarapan pagi di Boa Vista, Cape Verde

Superó todas nuestras expectativas. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y bonitas, con camas muy cómodas y amplias y buen baño. Un desayuno increíble, como productos variados, tortillas, huevos, tortitas, etc. que te hacían al momento. Gran facilidad para contratar servicios externos y tours a través del hotel. Personal muy agradable y atento. Situado en una preciosa playa de Sal Rei a la que nuestros dormitorios tenías vistas. Esta playa además estaba muy poco masificada por lo que era muy agradable pasar el rato allí. Su terraza con jacuzzi también nos sorprendió mucho. El servicio de coctelería es espectacular. Desde esta misma terraza o desde la playa en la que se encuentra el hotel se pueden ver unos atardeceres preciosos.

After looking forward to a relaxing two weeks break away to a destination we’ve never been to, we were sadly let down by the condition of the general build, rooms, pool area and flies on the food. 1. Our room stunk of old perm lotion. We were told by the TUI staff that all rooms smelt like that due to a cleaning product they used in the toilets from a tank outside the hotel. After speaking with other tourists we found out that this wasn’t true at all. We complained but nothing done. 2. Flies and local birds in, on or around the food. 3. Our adult son who has a learning issue had two explosive diarrhoea episodes which meant he could not eat anything for four days. We also had the runs 3. Pool area - tiles missing and awful rust marks in and around the pool 4. Entertainment was not up to normal RIU standards in the evening, especially the abba tribute 5. The pull out sofa bed had a wafer thin mattress on and was rusty. After complaining they sent us a broken bed base and urine stained mattress as a replacement . (See picture) 6. Worn out sun loungers We will upload the photos of what we found here. Advertised as a platinum hotel but it didn’t even qualify as Tin let alone platinum. Our son even though he has a learning problem he was a full paying adult and should’ve been accommodated the same as everyone else. The grassed areas are lovely though but the hotel is tired and in need of a serious renovation everywhere . Some of our photos didn’t upload properly, but the ones we have managed to upload paint the picture of a worn out tired place that is not 4/5 star. We went 30 August until 13 September 2024
