The building entrance and the reception areas are impressive. The receptionist is very welcoming. But the room itself feels like a cheap motel. Neet, but cheap. Not worth the price. Beds sound like a camp bed, but it feels ok. The shower is just in the same area as a toilet, and for the shower you stand right on the floor, the same floor as a toilet. Coffee/tea amenities: two cheap cups, and normal two coffee,sugar,creamer. Interestingly that coffee has a label of the hotel, but not cups. Lights are not enough in the room, it feels dark. And there is no central turning on/off switch for light in the room. You need to turn on/off each and every light manually. No hair dryer. There is no separate shampoo. It's just all in one soap+shampoo liquid. Leaving your luggage/bags after checkout is not for free. They have lockers, which you need to pay for. The breakfast buffet is nothing fancy, and not a lot of options. The location is good. Not far away from the center. And there were no city views from my room, but it said so when booking. And there is a small gym inside.

Copenhagen Downtown Hostel – Capsule Stay Review This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel in Copenhagen (£80 per night), after hearing positive feedback from friends who had travelled here. I decided to try the quiet zone option with a comfortable capsule located near the hostel facilities. Pros: • Excellent location in the heart of the city, with restaurants, bars, and cafés within walking distance. • Easy access to all main attractions. • The capsule area was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I left with mixed feelings. While the location and cleanliness met expectations, the hostel’s operation style felt more “self-service” and less attentive to guest concerns. On the first night, my sleep was disrupted by a guest in the quiet zone who was both noisy and snored loudly throughout the night. It affected everyone in the vicinity, and despite some guests (myself included) gently knocking to try and reduce the disturbance, it continued until morning. On the second night, the same issue occurred, but it was made worse by a sudden emergency alarm at around 4:45 AM, requiring all guests to evacuate and wait outside for inspection before returning to bed. Understandably, safety comes first, but the timing and the combination of disturbances made it impossible to rest. When I tried to contact staff in the middle of the night, there was no one available, so I had to raise the issue through Trip.com. Although staff later offered some coins as a goodwill gesture, it did not feel proportionate to the £80 per night rate... especially when nearby private rooms can be found for much less. Sadly, what I hoped would be a unique and comfortable stay turned into a frustrating experience. I will not be returning, and I would advise light sleepers to consider alternatives.

Wakeup Copenhagen - Carsten Niebuhrs Gade: After a nightmare stay at City Hotel Nebo (Istedgade 6, 1650 København V, Denmark) where I couldn't sleep and my skin was itching due to dirty conditions including hair in the sink and no hygiene products available, Wakeup Copenhagen was my salvation. Immaculate cleanliness, modern minimalist room on 8th floor with marvelous city view, comfortable bed where I finally slept after 48 hours of exhaustion, clean shower with good water pressure, good quality breakfast, very good reception lobby, perfect location near Dybbølsbro Station (500m) and easy access to Copenhagen Bus Terminal for my FlixBus, excellent value at €62-70. Rating: 9/10. Compared to City Hotel Nebo (-3/10), this was heaven. The contrast was shocking - from dirty and uncomfortable to clean, modern, and peaceful. This hotel saved my trip and gave me the rest I needed to enjoy my last day in Copenhagen. Absolutely recommended for solo travelers who value cleanliness! Very good location which near Central Station （train) & Kobenhavn Metro Station. Besides, travellers can take bus 5C just outside the hotel to the airport. Quite a number of scenic spots are quite close to the hotel. Cost value of the buffet breakfast is great which costs only DDK$69 when compared of the food bought from restaurant outside. Lots of activities are offered by the hotel which esp suit for the youngsters.

I stayed at Wakeup Copenhagen and found it to be a solid choice for a short city trip. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-organized, with a minimalist design that makes everything feel efficient and straightforward. The location is very convenient, especially for exploring central Copenhagen, with easy access to public transport and key attractions. The room was compact, which is expected for this type of hotel, but it was well-designed and functional. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean and in good condition. However, if you’re traveling with large luggage or prefer more space, the room might feel a bit tight. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. The overall atmosphere is more practical than luxurious, but it delivers good value for money. Overall, Wakeup Copenhagen is a great option if you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and well-located hotel without unnecessary extras.

The proximity to CPH airport which is about under 10mins walk is really great if you have an early flight.  The bed is great for a good night rest.  Room size is just about right to open two big luggages.  Everything is self-service, hence the average score, however they also have service staff at the counter to help for those who need assistance. Very basic amenities like shampoo and body/hand soap plus a hairdryer like most of the Scandinavia / European hotels.  Would be nice if could provide a kettle to make some hot drinks.  Clean towels which is good but would be better if could provide bath robe.    I’ve paid for the breakfast and it had good variation.

I had a great stay here. The place looks exactly like the photos - modern, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, proactive, and very helpful. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the shared areas, bathrooms, kitchen, and sleeping hub. I was initially worried about using shared bathrooms, but the bathrooms were very clean, and other guests were considerate in keeping them tidy after use. If you do not bring slippers, they are also available from the vending machine, which is convenient. The sleeping hub was higher and more spacious than expected, warm and comfortable, with power outlets and USB-C ports on both sides of the bed. Wi-Fi was strong, and I was able to use the call booth for a virtual meeting. The wristband system for opening doors and making purchases inside the property was also very convenient. I also enjoyed using the shared sauna, especially after coming in from the cold. The location is excellent, close to a bus stop with easy access to Copenhagen Central Station and Tivoli. There are supermarkets, international restaurants, and a laundromat nearby. Overall, I highly recommend CityHub Copenhagen for a clean, comfortable, convenient, and well-designed stay.

The room wasn’t so clean. Also in our room the floor was damaged in front of the bathroom because in the bathroom when you are showering the water is coming out. The stuff are really kind and they are helpful. Unfortunately the smoking area is always closed at 22:00 so if you wanted to smoke there is no place to sit after 22:00. I was using before A&O in different cities but that one’s was much more clean and comfortable. This hotel is not so comfortable. They should put more energy to keep the hotel clean and keep the hotel rooms better because they should do some renovations especially in the bathrooms.

We stayed at the Tivoli Hotel for eight days and booked two double rooms—one for my husband and me, and one for our two boys. The rooms were a bit small, but since we didn’t spend much time in them, it was not an issue. The breakfast was excellent, with freshly prepared, high-quality food and a great selection. The location is also very good, within walking distance of the mall and Tivoli Gardens. The only downside was the price of breakfast, especially for children. Our kids don’t eat much, so the cost felt quite high, and a more child-friendly pricing option would be appreciated. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and were happy with everything else.

Checking in & out are done via the self-check in automat. Didn't try the breakfast. There's an indoor swimming pool which is great. Room is clean & tidy, with some traces of dust though. The hotel looks dated but well-maintained. The bartender is cheerful and staff are friendly. Just a few steps away from Kastrup Airport. Train station connected to the hotel so we simply took the train to Copenhagen city centre ftom the hotel which took about 20 minutes.
