Great hotel in the heart of Kanazawa! Located next to Omicho market, walking distance to Kanazawa castle and Kenrouku Gardens. Fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff, especially the front desk. Amenities were also excellent and nice comfortable bed and room size. It’s also the only hotel I’ve stayed in where my request for extra pillows and towels were really fulfilled! I’m so glad and thankful to the hotel for going the extra mile for my requests. And not to forget the nice public bath with nice views! Housekeeping was awesome too with providing clean rooms and sheets within a short time ! Excellent hotel and great staff! Keep up the great service!

A nice hotel close to Kanazawa Station and around 20 minutes walking to the major tourist attractions. The room was big and quiet at night. The amenities were plentiful and the room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel if you need to take an early train or bus from the station. The breakfast offered a good selection but it was certainly overpriced (¥1900) for the quality. I’d recommend eating breakfast elsewhere if you’re on a budget or if you’re looking for something really tasty.

Good location, few minutes walk from Kanazawa station. East gate. Enter the underground passage by going down the escalator and follow A8 which will lead to hotel Nikko.  Happy with the service and room condition.  We stayed on the 25th floor and room had a beautiful view of the station and city, all the way to the sea.  Bathroom is clean and relatively big. There was a bathtub beside the rain shower and a separate room for toilet. Amenities provided were good quality.  Enjoyed the breakfast which had a good spread of Japanese and western food, including fresh shrimps and sashimi for seafood bowl. There was French toast and omelet at the cooking station. Ice cream corner was at the drinks section.   Overall happy with our stay and would choose this hotel again for future visits to Kanazawa

The hotel is conveniently located about 5-7 minutes from the Kanazawa train station and within 1-3 minutes of the Kanazawa Castle and Omicho market. We also visited Nagamachi and Geisha district which are 10-15 minutes from the hotel. The service of the staff was exceptional and so was the cleanliness. The hotel has a great ambience too. We enjoyed a 7 course dinner at the hotel restaurant which was delicious but overpriced.  Overall we had a great stay.

HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa – My Absolute Favourite of My 2026 Japan Trip! I stayed at HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Kanazawa for three nights, and it ended up being my favourite hotel of my entire trip. The room was extremely clean and very spacious — at 32 sqm, it really was much larger than most hotels in Japan for the price paid and was very comfortable for a longer stay. The pricing was also very affordable for the space, quality, and comfort provided, making it excellent value for money. Service from the staff was also excellent — friendly, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance. There is a bathtub provided with bath salts given at the front desk Food: I also tried the Kanazawa Gozen (last pic) recommended by the hotel, and it was fantastic. At 3,500 yen, it was well worth the price and a great way to experience local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Location: 5 mins walk from JR Kanazawa Station exit, pretty straightforward, with an underground walkway, which is noticeable after exiting and turning left. Overall, an outstanding stay and easily my top hotel choice during this trip. I truly hope to return and stay here again in the future.

Great location, close to the seafood market and within walking distance of the station. However, the check in process took unnecessarily long time. There was only one staff at the counter and a small groups of 4 guests occupied the 2 check-in machines for a long time, one even without passport and had walked out from the hotel’s front door to look for passport. Yet, the staff didn’t ask them to step aside from the machine. Another Japanese gentleman, also showed frustration while waiting, asked loudly for assistance. We eventually also had to stop a staff member for manual check‑in, which took only 2 minutes. Meanwhile, that same group continued asking about wechat, dinner suggestion, and breakfast venue right in front of the check-in machines. If we didn’t proactively ask for help, then it would take even longer to stand in the line! This was the last thing travelers needed when finally arriving the hotel from a long journey in winter night.

Hotel is so great I will definitely come back to Kanazawa one day and stay here. The room is spacious enough for 3 of us. They provided every amenities we needed including ironing equipment. We can dry our clothes in the bathroom. Staff are very friendly even though my Japanese skills are so bad. We were a bit unlucky due to the weather, there was hailing when we were there but other that it's all good. Most importantly, the hotel is right next to the Kanazawa station and ease us on our movement around. Thank you for the great service I will definitely come back.

Very high quality, comfortable, and beautiful hotel at reasonable price. Its location by the castle makes it very convenient for exploring the castle and Kenrokuen on snowy days. Its Kaga Ryori dining is exquisite and value for money! The hotel shop has a very good selection of products at reasonable prices. The onsen has cold and hot bath, as well as a sauna with TV. The hotel is very thoughtful and generous in providing free ice cream treats after onsen, and onsen bath powder set for customers taking green measures (not requiring cleaning and change of bedsheet every day).

We had a very pleasant stay at Tokyu Stay Kanazawa. The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to Kanazawa’s main attractions, shopping streets, and public transport, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was clean, modern, and well designed, with one feature I really appreciated — the in-room washing machine, which was extremely convenient, especially for travellers on longer trips. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful, providing good service throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, Tokyu Stay Kanazawa offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kanazawa and would happily stay here again.

Great hotel with wonderful location 5 mins walk from station; they provide all necessary amenities even the bath salt for your bathtub moment; toilet is the usual Japanese toilet but good enough; they provide auto ironing board for pants, something special. Comfortable bed. Interesting self check-in at the kiosk, wonder why they still need 3 members at front desk. Overall wonderful experience.
