Hotel Dengan Breakfast di Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan

Took the twin room and it was sooooo spacious and comfortable. Had a great sleep every night. Room was conducively dark. Bathroom size was great too. Awesome location in the tenmokan area. Finally agree with the other reviews that hotel parking (found at the back) is expensive. Plenty of other parking spaces that have a better rate elsewhere. Just “shop” around for one.

Hotel is well positioned, just directly opposite JR station and is well connected to underground shopping and malls and restaurants. It’s very convenient with family marts around the hotel too. A bit old and certainly need some maintenance. Not all hotel staff speak English language but they attempt to help as much as they can. Hotel only provides basic amenities like towels and pyjamas and only does housekeeping on consecutive days. Guess this is the new way in Japan on sustainability.

Art Hotel Kagoshima offers a very positive stay overall, largely thanks to its outstanding staff, who consistently went out of their way to assist and make guests feel welcome. I strongly recommend requesting a room with a view of Sakurajima—one of Japan’s most active volcanoes—as waking up to this dramatic landscape is truly priceless. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby bus routes. While the rooms are comfortable, the building is clearly dated and would benefit from significant renovations to better match the quality of service.

I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.

If you're driving, the parking lot that the hotel has a special discount with is a 10 minute walk. There is nowhere to stop in front of the hotel, so it's better to park first.

Recently stayed at JR Kyushu Hotel Kagoshima and really enjoyed the stay. The location is unbeatable, it is directly connected to Kagoshima-Chuo Station, with an entrance right after exiting the Shinkansen or local train gates. The room was surprisingly spacious. We could open two large suitcases, one medium, and two cabin bags at the same time and still have space to move around comfortably, which is quite rare for hotels in Japan. The hotel is also next to AMU Plaza Kagoshima, so there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, a very convenient hotel and a great choice for travelers visiting Kagoshima.

Value for money. Simple yet sufficient. Clean n with all the necessary amenities. Beautiful view of Sakurajima mountain. Fully recommended if u are looking for a simple n comfortable stay

키리시마신사 근처에 있어서 이동하기 편했습니다. 무엇보다 조식과 석식의 종류가 다양하고 그 지역의 특산물을 많이 이용하고 있어서 좋았습니다. 대중교통을 이용해서 찾아가기에는 불편한 점이 있으나 셔틀버스를 운행하고 있는 것같습니다. 우리는 렌트카를 이용했고 편하게 찾아갔습니다. 주변에 마트나 편의점이 없어서 호텔 체크인하기 전에 준비해야 합니다. 온천은 다양하고 많은 사람이 동시에 이용해도 무리없을 만큼 넓고 좋습니다. 사우나도 있고 냉탕도 갖춰져 있어서 편하게 이용했어요. 다시 방문 의사 있습니다.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The value for money is outstanding—everything you get here easily exceeds the price. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very pleasant to stay in, making it a great place to relax after a long day. The service was exceptional. The staff were always willing to help with anything we needed, no matter what it was, and they were consistently super kind, polite, and welcoming. You can really feel that they care about the guests. The location is perfect, with a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very easy to get anywhere in the city quickly and efficiently. Overall, a fantastic stay—highly recommended!

При заселении оказалось, что есть нестыковка между номера на Трип.ком и реальным номерным фондом. И как результат забронированный нами номер занят. В качестве замены нам предложили 2 варианта: площадью в 2 раза меньше (20 кв.м. вместо 40), зато с сауной в номере (нам такое не интересно), либо такой же площади, как изначально бронировали (40 кв.м.), но с 4 кроватями вместо нашей одной. Убедившись, что в нем окна тоже выходят на Сакурадзиму, мы выбрали его. На втором этаже 2 полутораспальные кровати, на первом 2 двуспальные. Матрасы и подушки комфортные, в меру жёсткие. На мини-кухне чайник, холодильник, плита, раковина, дрип-пакеты с кофе, сахар, кружки, тарелки, столовые приборы, даже сковорода. В ванной комнате есть шампунь, кондиционер, гель для душа, мыло, фен. Каждый день приносят чистые полотенца, забирают грязные и мусор (если их оставить на полу в прихожей), выдают новые мусорные пакеты. Возле ресепшна есть комод, в котором можно взять бритву, расческу, мочалку, ватные палочки, бумажные салфетки, маску для сна, беруши, зубную щётку и пасту. Уборка в номере предусмотрена при проживании более 4 дней, т.е. за 6 дней у нас убрались 1 раз. Вход в номер по qr-коду, который дают сфотографировать при заселении, он же позволяет пользоваться лифтом. Он же нужен для самостоятельного чекаута. Для удобства мы добавили код в понижение для разных скидочные карт. Минусы есть, но не критичные: автоматический свет в туалете: когда ночью встаёшь, он бьёт в глаза. Слишком теплые одеяла. В пятницу и субботу вечером в парке Тенмонкан, на который выходят окна номера, было очень шумно. Возможно это было связано с празднованием Хэллоуина (в остальные дни было тихо). В целом гостиница классная, новая, современная, однозначно стоит своих денег. С удовольствием вернёмся ещё.
