Granbell colombo is the most beautiful city hotel in colombo , It offer really japanese hospitality experience , foods are really tasty , Hotel has most beautiful infinity pool at roof top. That experience is very attractive . Roof top bar is little bit crowded in weekend . But bar staff provide quick service. Also Room has consist with modern features . And Room has bath tab . It is really nice. Overall experience is really worth for money.staff was very friendly. Mihiranga from reception he helps us very friendly during our stay and restaurant staff Niroshan , kasun is very helpfull . We will definitely come back again . Thanks Granbell ❤

Lovely hotel, the perfect break from budget hotels. The restaurant upstairs offered a reasonably priced buffet for dinner and the food was great. Walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops.

Marino Beach Hotel is in a very convenient location with Marino Shopping Mall directly connected to it. Hotel rooms are very specious, clean and gives nice view of the beach. Breakfast is excellent and it gives a nice outside view from the breakfast area. Staff are very pleasant and ever ready to assist. The Chinese restaurant serves excellent tasty lunches and dinner. We stayed their twice during our last visit to Sri Lanka. We enjoyed our stay very much. All in all, I will recommend this hotel for stay. You will not regret.

Hotel was safe, clean and comfortable. The travel desk staff, led by Mr Bathiya, were really helpful and friendly. We customised travel around Sri Lanka and back to Colombo- the process was very clear, prices were reasonable, and it made for a great holiday. The neighbourhood gets quite busy at night and the hotel soundproofing isn't great, and the breakfast is pretty basic. Everything else is good

As a practice I usually speak to several staff when I visit somewhere before making a genuine comment for the improvement of that organization. Seeing so many sad faces in this happy place, I deeply thought many times whether to write on this or not. Taking care of External Customers is a good thing as long as Internal Customers (your employees) also feel fairly treated. “Clients do not come first. Employees do. If you take care of your employees, naturally they will take good care of the clients.” Your staff doesn't look to be happy and as customers we can feel those things also. Note to management!

1、酒店在一個很很很偏僻的地方 可以説在荒山野嶺 我晚上七點才能去機場但酒店是12點退房 沒地方去衹能在外邊坐着 沒有空調 2、房間裏不是蒼蠅就是蚊子 門口還有癩蛤蟆 我第一時間跟前台講我因為打蒼蠅打碎了一個小盤子 她讓服務生跟我來看 但他們並沒有對蒼蠅和蚊子進行任何處理 ，而是給我開了一張賠盤子的罰單 3 因為地處偏僻我必須在酒店吃飯 可選的菜很多 但都要加10%服務費 點的海鮮炒飯裏的海鮮是兩個蝦尾巴 大概1.5cm大小 我喊服務生來都找了半天 4 wifi基本是連不上的 勉強連上也打不開網頁和app 5 傍晚和凌晨都有不知道什麼動物的叫聲 睡的死你可以選這 6 一夜沒睡好 渾身被蚊子至少咬了十個包 床上的螞蟻 牆上的蜘蛛 各種原生態小可愛隨處可見

整個假期結束前，我們還是打算在科倫坡停留一天再走，於是依然定了這家酒店，早上十點辦入住，因為客人剛退房，我們需要等待打掃，就在邊上坐着，工作人員送上果汁，正是口乾舌燥時，那果汁猶如及時雨，一會兒，一位經理説打掃需要一點時間，請我們去吃自助早餐，我們婉言謝絕，畢竟這有點貴，然後我們去樓下商場吃了點東西，剛回來，經理又問是否可以請我們喝杯咖啡，我們愉快地接受了，同時很感動，因為這等待是我們自己提前入住造成的，但是酒店為了讓我們不至於因為等待時間久不愉快做了那麼多，非常感謝

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. Отличный отель. Чисто и вежливый персонал. Единственный минус - шум от живой музыки, а именно от ударных инструментов в ресторане отеля. Они играют на улице возле ресторана под окнами отдыхающих - это конечно ужасно. Музыка барабанит до 00-00, в выходные дни.

I contacted the hotel to make a confirmation for my brother-in-law's anniversary dinner and was connected to Chamath Gamage, who supported me with a positive attitude & extended to help me out with the reservation since it was a special occasion at the hotel too where seating is limited. Thus being so Chamath reached out to Mr.Denver to seek advise. Within a span of 30 minutes Chamath called me back & confirmed informing me that the reservation is successful & the hotel could have my brother-in-law & his wife to enjoy their anniversary evening at the hotel that evening. I am grateful for Chamath for making the service matter along with a supportive team who was able to facilitate our request midst the special occasion. I wish Chamath & Mr.Denver Good luck in all endeavors to carry out the positive service mindset to all customers they meet.

The staffs in hotel are extremely thoughtful and nice. The breakfast is fantastic. You can enjoy mupltile country food here. The room is very clean. The hotel is near galla face beach. very beautiful view.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean and stylish. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The location of the hotel is I liked the most, it has a greta view from the room, while it has access to the Mall and the nearby office buildings. It makes it so convenient for business. The staff were amazing, they never let you down, even if you ask them stupid questions or bother them with strange requests. The breakfast was great. The bar at the lobby level is too good... the live music and the outdoor sitting area I liked about the Bar.

The stay was marred by the fact that our Trip.com booking was not received by the hotel and as a result had to pay the hotel additionally and at a higher rate in order to stay. We have yet to get this resolved

一共住了五晚，早餐不錯。泳池不錯。就是有點遠。健身房沒有提供水。服務不錯。但是房間設施陳舊。入住第一晚、毛巾上有血。入住最後一晚，凌晨一點，房客在房間和走道上開party，音樂聲音震天響，跳舞聊天，整整持續一個多小時，我打了四個電話到前台，我估計酒店每次都有派人來制止的，但是根本無效，直到第四次，才安靜下來，那個時候已經凌晨兩點，我一晚上沒睡。

A peaceful retreat from the hustle of travel. Attentive, professional and smiling staff always ready to serve. They train staff and take pride in their customer service. Two Jetwing Hotels sits ideally by side (JBlue & JBeach). This is the grand old dame. Mature, calm and quiet. Finishing is a good example of professional customer service and shining example of hospitality bench mark for all staff. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I stayed in the sunrise jacuzzi suite and it was wonderful. The staff is great too, very friendly, service is fast. The food for breakfast and dinner (buffet and set menu) is very tasty and good. However, bc of the power cuts, i was plunged into darkness several times a day lasting from 10-30seconds which wasnt pleasant (especially night time). Besides this, would recommend this place.

Very good hotel at nice location House keeping service should improve

This was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.

I recently stayed at Vivanta Colombo Airport Gardens and had a mixed experience. The pool area is absolutely fabulous, offering a great place to relax. The food exceeded my expectations, with wonderful flavors and a good variety. The staff were notably attentive, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered, especially given the disappointing room view which was just overlooking buildings, contrary to the picturesque images advertised. Additionally, the terms and conditions were confusing and poorly written, potentially disadvantaging guests. A word of advice: skip the pricey airport shuttle service, which costs 4000 Sri Lankan rupees, and opt for an Uber or PickMe ride, which you can get for around 500 rupees.

Good Property! The rooms are nice, staffs are very attentive, helpful and friendly. Food is good though the options are less for vegetarians but the quality is good. Its near to the colombo international airport and very quiet and peaceful ! Thank you guys for a good experience!

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of our trip around Sri Lanka. The check-in process (at around 6 pm) was welcoming, although I think it's weird to be asked to pay for our rooms during check-in. Our room was great. Fantastic air-con and a really comfortable bed. We appreciated the cake to help us celebrate our anniversary. Thank you. Although we had a good time, it could've been great. The main pool was closed until our last day. There was never any pool towels, we always had to ask, then wait up to 30 minutes to get a towel and sunbed mattress in the morning. The pool is advertised as being open from 7am, but it clearly isn't. We had dinner in the restaurant 2 out of our 3 nights, both times due to convenience (1st night, just arrived after a very long day travelling and 3rd night, when it was pouring down). The food was OK, for the price, it could've been better. Finally, breakfast. Very disappointing. Only having runny scrambled eggs as an option isn't great. When I asked someone in chefs whites for boiled eggs, I was told a flat, 'No'. I asked the maitre d' lady, who initially also told me 'no' before going off and organising me 2 boiled eggs (which were perfect). After almost 3 weeks of travel around Sri Lanka, we were used to the differences in breakfasts, however, this is certainly not a cheap hotel and the least you should expect is a good breakfast with a variety of food items. Needless to say, we only had breakfast here on our first morning, made other arrangements after that. I wonder what this hotel is like during the height of the season- it certainly felt like it was closing down and we were a bit of an inconvenience. Other people have posted about the events hosted here. There was a corporate event during the middle day of our stay. We were woken before 7am with banging as they put the gazebos up, and again late into the evening when things were taken down, absolute pain. All in all we feel disappointed. This was by far the most expensive place we stayed in. It could've been amazing but just left us feeling underwhelmed and disappointed.

Хороший отель на первой линии океана, расположен вдали от дороги и от города, в несезон поблизости нет кафешек и мест где можно покушать, поэтому питаться придётся в отеле, можно взять шведский стол на обед и ужин. Пляж у отеля это единственное место для купания в несезон, природный волнорез защищает берег и образует подобие океанского бассейна. Дружелюбный стаф, быстрое заселение, большой и теплый бассейн, на территории шныряют забавные барсуки/белки, вараны/это стало дополнительным бонусом к отлично проведённому времени. Те кто ищет спокойного отдыха вдали от действительности Шри-Ланки-вам сюда!!

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at this hotel, the staff really made it and couldn't do any more for you. They were always welcoming and helpful wherever you went within the complex. Our room was sea facing with the most fantastic views and was cleaned every day with a constant change of bed linen and towels. 2 bottles of drinking water was provided every day and the attention to detail including rearranging our collection of shells into a ”love heart”:) We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis which was more than adequate with an extensive menu every day. It was my birthday whilst we were there and the birthday cake and the good wishes and singing of ”happy birthday” from the staff was greatly appreciated and fun. Thank you Blue Water for making our first visit to Sri Lanka for a memorable visit.

Hotel is modern , fresh , well maintained . Perfect for a relaxing vacation with gym , excellent long pool , yoga , sports area . Access to the beach is private and peaceful. Food spread was lavish Nd tasty . Staff is very friendly Nd goes out of the way to help you . We enjoyed the wide spread of food for new years gala dinner . Bar has good choice of liquor. You can take a tuktuk from hotel lobby roam around to see local life . Go to kalatura rich look store or others for cheap but good quality daily wear clothes . Beach is little rough . Spending 5 nights with hotel was relaxing then we moved to bentota to enjoy the beach which is smooth Nd one of the best I have come across travelling world around . Special thank to Tusharri to ensure we had the best stay Nd the personal touch she provided and Mr Prasad Wijesyriya for maintaining the hotel so well . You can always see them around with a smile and ensuring all guests are happy checking on them . Key feature is the long swimming pool . We are staying at Taj bentota now but we found citrus much better with pool , rooms and pricing for quality .

We had a fabulous one night at Avani Kalutara. We checked in to the hotel with great welcoming from the Front Office Staff,overall we were happy about our honeymoon. Excellent service in the bar, restaurant, Housekeeping and Front Office also. A lovely place with calm and quiet environment with outstanding service from the hotel team. All the Staff are gracious, friendly & helpful.Specially thanks for Mr. Jayantha ( FOM ) , Mr.Jude ( Hotel Manager) , Mr. Roshantha & Mr. Rumesh both of them always willing to help us. The setting, on a promontory overlooking the Indian Ocean quite idyllic. All areas enjoy gorgeous views & the location feels tranquil & exclusive. The hotel has well-spaced loungers around the infinity pool. Amazing testy food.We will definitely come back..

This is more a resort then a normal hotel. with good facilities . Even though it is more then 20 years old it is still o'kay and is currently being updated and renovated. Back when it first opened ,it was probably the best resort in all of Sri Lanka!! Quiet location ,a bit out of town ,but easy to get a Tuk Tuk to get around. it is about 2 hours by bus from Colombo ,or probably quicker by train ........ but not as much fun! Staff where freindly and helpful if needed.

２日間1人での滞在。 ➕ スタッフみんながフレンドリー。 朝食ブッフェの品数。洋食、スリランカ料理、インド料理なんでもあるので毎日飽きない。 プールが２つあるので、混み合わなくていい。 ジムや毎日のプログラムがあり、朝と夕方のトレーニングに参加しましたが、私しかいなかったのでマンツーマンで教えていただきとても楽しかった。 掃除の方がとてもフレンドリー。 部屋も広々していて、鳥の声も聞こえてよかった。 近くのビーチでの夕日が毎日見ることができたこと。 ➖ 夜に少しだけお酒と何かをつまみたいと思った時に、イタリアンレストランは閉まっていて、バーを利用しようとしたところ、あまりベジタリアンやビーガンの選択肢がなかった。 周りは何もない。 近くのビーチは波が高すぎて泳ぐことはできない。

Racism at its peak! Apparently this was the highlight of our trip which got disastrously ruined. We had booked a sea facing room, on arrival they so called ‘upgraded’ to a suite- ‘garden facing’.. which was pathetic, dimly lit and defeated our purpose of pre-booking. On complaining they put on a facade that no sea facing rooms were available and after showing a lot of discontent ‘agreed’ to give us a room provided we ‘shifted’ under 5mins as ‘other guests were waiting’( while we were having dinner)! The only respite was that the view from the room was good, otherwise it was so unkempt and dirty.There was a constant sewer smell which made the experience unpleasant. Wifi wasn’t working- despite 4 failed attempts(got attended to 5 hours later) and setting up a router in the room, we had to use mobile data. At the buffet the spread contained 3 different cuisines, but on an average unpalatable. Sorry to say but after tasting their Indian cuisine, nobody would even want to taste the cuisine later! All in all the location is the only takeaway..but one has many other options for that.not recommended!
