"The hotel room was exceptionally good, I especially liked how the television sets in each room (living and bedroom) were concealed behind mirrors. The price was exceptional for such a high standard. One strange thing, (just so you know this is a genuine review), the kitchen didn't come with any cutlery despite having a cutlery draw and container and cooking facilities. I visit every year prior to a family holiday and will certainly stay here from now on"

GGuest UserMy stay at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a Accor luxury hotel.
Service was unprofessional from check-in, breakfast quality and hygiene were poor, and even simple orders took far too long.
Most seriously, personal belongings were taken from my room, and the hotel failed to conduct any proper investigation or provide follow-up despite multiple complaints.
Overall, poor management and serious security concerns. I would not recommend this hotel.

BBouchra kiramiI stayed at Barceló in a king-bed room. Overall, everything was good, and the room was well equipped with most of the amenities you need. The only missing items were toothbrushes and slippers.
However, there wasn’t much variety at breakfast—very limited choices. For a hotel rated five stars on Booking and TripAdvisor, I expected a much better breakfast. Instead, it felt more like a one-star hotel breakfast.
Otherwise, the room quality was very good.

Only one thing. PILLOWS. The worst pillows I have ever slept on. Basically they are made of textile waste. No joke. It's such a shame. From my point of view – it's disrespectful towards customers.
Good things:
1. Location. Only 10 minutes from airport.
2. Breakfast was PERFECT. Best hotel breakfast in Marocco. (*unfortunately, their branch at Casa Oasis doesn't have a good breakfast)

GGuest UserThis was a welcome Oasis which we booked for a night due to a sufficiently long layover to justify. This case it was around 15 hours and it would be overnight so it was decided to book this hotel in order to be a bit more comfortable and refreshed for the next day's leg. For those who are sensitive, there does appear to be evidence to suggest scented product use throughout the establishment... But it's not too overpowering such as on the Royal Air Morocco's aircraft.... Staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. The rooms are neat and tidy and well laid out with sufficient room to move about in. It's a surprisingly quiet area given its proximity to the airport. And it has a free shuttle which is currently running every 30 minutes on the hour. Give yourself a little bit of extra time to find where the shuttle is though as it may not be particularly apparent. The breakfast spread is very delicious and the fact that they had the famous Moroccan mint tea and bottomless cups really made my day! My only regret in staying here is that it was a bit of an excursion to go into the city to do some proper sightseeing and take in all the wonders of Casablanca.... Even if I've only seen the movie once ;) ... But this isn't on the hotel.... And hopefully I look forward to visiting again and spending a bit more time to explore this interesting region. A thoroughly endearing part of this hotel were some cats patrolling the premises.

AAnonymous UserA beautiful hotel, well designed and well placed to get to the main places to visit in Casablanca. The staff on reception and the concierge were delightful, smiley and cheerful always- we really appreciated it.
The dining area staff we encountered were not as cheery or helpful. The breakfast was mediocre, a meagre selection and not appealing. We didn’t like the fact that we had to wait to be served drinks in the morning, hot water, tea and coffee should be on tap for multiple visits during breakfast. The person behind the drinks bar was slow to take and make the orders and not particularly helpful- some cafetières or tea and coffee dispensers would remedy this. The room itself had a few cosmetic imperfections and could do with a deep clean, including the walls. We were surprised to see a lack of bidet showers in the bathroom, which was inconvenient and not in keeping with the culture we were expecting.
Finally, the water went off a couple of times and the lifts were not in working on one occasion, both were rectified fairly quickly, but it was an inconvenience as we were not able to complete our morning ablutions.

GGuest UserWe didn’t have a good stay at the Novotel in Mohammedia, there was no hot water on arrival and there was obviously a hotel wide issue, but the reception said they’d sent someone up and we needed to run the taps for 10 minutes! Well that didn’t work and there was no hot water in the morning either, even they promised it would be back by the morning, so freezing cold shower. No remote control for the TV, the blackout blinds had tears and holes in them (see photo), the carpets were tired and marked (photo) and the windows were absolutely filthy (photo). This was billed as a “superior room with park view” - you could see the park with the window open, but with it closed the dirt pretty much obscured it. We booked a massage but cancelled as how can you have a massage without a shower? The breakfast was very average. The staff were fine, they are up against it with this building, but they constantly asked us to give them reviews by name. The pool is tiny, the bar was quite lively and again nice staff. For a modern Novotel this was a pretty bad experience.

RRobin xuanOur stay was incredibly pleasant. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the Old Medina and Mohammed V Square, making it easy to get around on foot. There are also plenty of transport options and shops nearby. The front desk staff includes Mandarin-speaking personnel, which made communication smooth, and currency exchange was conveniently available, making it especially friendly for Chinese tourists.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a quiet and peaceful stay. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including both Chinese dishes and local specialties, catering well to Chinese tastes. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, and the value for money was outstanding. It's a perfect base for exploring and an excellent choice for anyone staying in Casablanca.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Polar Bear Hotel in Casablanca.
The owner is incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. She cooked delicious homemade food and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. She even kindly offered airport transfers and was always available to help whenever needed.
Unfortunately, I was scammed by a local taxi driver who falsely claimed he was sent by the hotel. As a solo traveler, this was quite stressful. However, the owner was genuinely concerned about my situation and did everything she could to assist and support me. Her care and kindness made a huge difference.
When you travel alone, meeting people who genuinely look after you is priceless. The hospitality here felt more like staying with family than at a hotel.
Thank you for your kindness and for making my stay in Casablanca such a positive experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and caring host.
