We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Perfect location to discover all that Ålesund has to offer. Easy to come to the hotel by the shuttlebus from the airport and a few minutes walk. Room, service and breakfast very good. We will come back.

Transportation: FB65 is right outside the airport and goes to the hotel. It costs 495 NOK for two adults and one child. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station, which might be slow with luggage. The return trip is by Uber for 640 NOK – great value! Facilities: Room facilities are okay. There are no disposable toiletries like toothbrushes, but there are bath towels. Bring your own toiletries if you have specific preferences; they provide shampoo and shower gel together. The restaurant has a nice view. Don't go too early, or you'll encounter tour groups. I went at 7 am and couldn't get a seat with a view. Breakfast is typical Western style – quite delicious! My Chinese stomach could handle it. AksLA viewpoint and other attractions are within walking distance. (Last picture attached)

Hotel is located in an excellent location, close to the tourist information center, the Mount Askla and the ferry terminals. The airport bus from the airport stop directly in front of the hotel, so will be very convenient for travelers arriving /departing by air. There are also many restaurants and a small shopping mall nearby. Was assigned a room facing west, so could have a great view of the sunset from the room.

The room has a sense of space. The bed is very comfortable to sleep. The heating is also very strong, even if it is cold outside. You can also feel very warm indoors. You can enjoy the capsule coffee provided by him indoors. It is only a short distance from the bus station, supermarkets and piers. Even the scenic area to climb the mountain is next to the hotel. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. It is recommended.

The location is fantastic, directly across from the fjord. The view is breathtaking. A balcony is a must! It's absolutely amazing. Facilities: New and clean. Cleanliness: Very clean and excellent. Environment: Very nice, highly recommended. Service: Excellent.

The hotel's parking lot is large and self-driving is very convenient. The cost of parking for 11 hours is NOK230. The interior of the room is clean and tidy, and there are many people checking in and the check-in is very efficient. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Alesund.

We were given a handicap room without asking for it, and when I asked for the swap, I was only told that there are no other rooms available. For one night, it was OK, but never received any offer for the 2 next nights. I sent an e mail to the support, but no answer was received. The breakfast was not the same as before and the quality was much better before 2023.

This hotel tells us from its name that it has a history of more than 100 years. Because Alesund has a population of 70,000 and the city is not big, this hotel is in the city. Unexpectedly, the decoration of the hotel is very artistic. From the lobby to the restaurant to the guest room, it is very artistic. This style is rare, but it is very tasteful. The breakfast is very rich, and the regional layout is also very characteristic, as if it is very casual, but has a design connotation. The basement level can be parked, but it is charged by the hour after 9:00 in the evening. It costs more than 200 yuan in one night. I finally stopped at the street and charged after 8:00 in the morning.

The room was absolutely tiny, there is no privacy in the bathroom as it's basically a box next to your bed. Had to carry our luggage up the stairs to get to the room. Adjacent restaurant took 10 minutes to acknowledge us and say they're fully booked. Historic building & good location but that's about it. Would not recommend.

This place is very convenient, good location, lovely area. Small but clean. Breakfast was fantastic! We are Thai and we met a Thai receptionist and she was very helpful. Try ask for quiet room because we booked 3 rooms but 2 rooms said it a bit noisy at night (we were there on a weekend). Definitely recommend.
