We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Perfect location to discover all that Ålesund has to offer. Easy to come to the hotel by the shuttlebus from the airport and a few minutes walk. Room, service and breakfast very good. We will come back.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea. There are cheap public parking spaces at the door, but the number is limited. The hotel's own parking lot is indoors, probably converted from an air-raid shelter. There is a very narrow door inside, and drivers with poor driving skills may not be able to park in it. I saw traces of vehicles scratching the wall of the doorway.

I stayed here for two nights, but the weather was terrible – heavy rain and strong winds. Luckily, the hotel wasn't too far from the station, but the whole way was uphill, which was tough for people with luggage! There were supermarkets nearby, so buying food wasn't a problem. The room was very warm, and the bathroom was large with a bathtub. It faced the sea view, so even though the weather outside was bad, my mood wasn't too bad. I especially liked the breakfast – it was plentiful and had a wide variety of choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is fantastic, directly across from the fjord. The view is breathtaking. A balcony is a must! It's absolutely amazing. Facilities: New and clean. Cleanliness: Very clean and excellent. Environment: Very nice, highly recommended. Service: Excellent.

This is a very historic hotel. It gives a very deep impression. The staff service is very good. It always has a smile and intimacy. The room type given this time is a mountain view. The room has a sense of space. The bed is very comfortable to sleep. The heating is also very strong, even if it is cold outside. You can also feel very warm indoors. You can enjoy the capsule coffee provided by him indoors. It is only a short distance from the bus station, supermarkets and piers. Even the scenic area to climb the mountain is next to the hotel. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. It is recommended.

The hotel's parking lot is large and self-driving is very convenient. The cost of parking for 11 hours is NOK230. The interior of the room is clean and tidy, and there are many people checking in and the check-in is very efficient. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Alesund.

We were given a handicap room without asking for it, and when I asked for the swap, I was only told that there are no other rooms available. For one night, it was OK, but never received any offer for the 2 next nights. I sent an e mail to the support, but no answer was received. The breakfast was not the same as before and the quality was much better before 2023.

Unexpectedly, the decoration of the hotel is very artistic. From the lobby to the restaurant to the guest room, it is very artistic. This style is rare, but it is very tasteful. The breakfast is very rich, and the regional layout is also very characteristic, as if it is very casual, but has a design connotation. The basement level can be parked, but it is charged by the hour after 9:00 in the evening. It costs more than 200 yuan in one night. I finally stopped at the street and charged after 8:00 in the morning.

The room was absolutely tiny, there is no privacy in the bathroom as it's basically a box next to your bed. Had to carry our luggage up the stairs to get to the room. Adjacent restaurant took 10 minutes to acknowledge us and say they're fully booked. Historic building & good location but that's about it. Would not recommend.

This place is very convenient, good location, lovely area. Small but clean. Breakfast was fantastic! We are Thai and we met a Thai receptionist and she was very helpful. Try ask for quiet room because we booked 3 rooms but 2 rooms said it a bit noisy at night (we were there on a weekend). Definitely recommend.
