Second stay at the Gromada hotel. Clean, quite, comfortable and suitable hotel for staying. Enjoyed morning breakfast and personnel. Highly recommend for every budget

The hotel is located right opposite to the Warsaw Central station, so it is very convenient for those who need to catch a train. Check-in was quick and the staff was polite. The fact that the hotel rooms are located on the higher floors of the building give customers an opportunity to look at Warsaw from a spectacular angle. The breakfast offers a decent variety of food and drinks. The room itself is of decent size but the interior is a bit aged and requires some new decorations and design. In light of the fact that there are several much newer 5-star hotels in downtown Warsaw, this hotel needs to seriously step up to keep itself competitive in the game.

Convenient location, right in the city center with the view of the city landmarks. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The only disappointment was the swimming pool/ sauna rules which are not specified while making a booking on trip.com. We came to find out that the pool is only accessible for one hour per guest and additional time must be paid extra and cannot exceed 3 hours per day.  In addition, an advanced booking must be made in order to use the pool and spa facilities. These restrictions should be transparently stated as the inconvenience left us with a feeling of mis-advertisement, which is a shame for such a nice hotel.

One of the reliable things in life is what you get from a chain hotel and this was everything you would expect from a very well located Novotel. Nothing remarkable but comfortable clean rooms and efficient service. As the location was so good we would stay again

We arrived early and sadly our rooms weren’t ready but we were permitted to leave cases in their care until we got back from exploring. We came back early evening to check In which was fast and our group got issued room keys with a description of all the benefits and times of breakfast etc. we were allocated room 360 which was huge and a massive bathroom containing a bath and a shower (was truly massive) Restaurant in the evening was dire mist if the group got their food but they seemed to forget about my order so after waiting and waiting I stormed out the restaurant and not even a sorry was given. Putting that aside breakfast was fantastic and probably one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen in a hotel with the choice of eggs freshly cooked off the Al a carte menu. Beds are comfortable but pillows are very flimsy. Hairdryer isn’t very fast and took me ages to dry my hair so if you need one take your own. The bath was love,y and wish I could’ve bought that home with me was a luxury to be able to fit in the bath with ample room. We walked to town in the morning and was a fresh brisk walk but it’s doable so you get to take In the embassy’s etc but if you don’t like or can’t walk fat then a taxi or Uber will do as it’s quite far out. We loved our stay and the group of 6 we all enjoyed ourselves. This would be definitely an option to return if the prices were right. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Everything was great, especially the amenities with many restaurants, bars, a spa, a gym... I have however to mention that the trainee receptionist who checked me out was not particularly friendly. She told me I could not use the gym after checking out. This is very surprising in an airport hotel - far from the city - where many people will have to wait for their afternoon or evening flight long after checking out. Thankfully I asked again to another staff in the afternoon, who was more than happy to give me access to the gym. I would therefore recommend that the trainee in question improves her hospitality skills.

The most amazing hotel experience, after leaving a horrendous airbnb at 1am me and my boyfriend went to the Mecure to find a room. Leszek on the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful in finding an affordable room for us as we are only students. The best customer service I’ve ever received, he was sympathetic to the situation we were in and gave us the best deal possible. The room was lovely and the location is perfect. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here for a few days in October. Room is very average and I don’t think it is Hilton standard. Hilton hotels I have stayed in previously have had a luxury feel about them, this was does not have that at all and the room was quite tired and in need of renovation. Also, as a tourist the location wasn’t the best but I like walking so this was a minor issue. The gym is amazing though, better than my gym at home. It is massive and literally has everything. The weights section is massive and they have machines that I would usually expect to find in a hotel gym such as an assisted pull up machine. In terms of cardio, the machines are top quality and have screens you can connect to where you can watch or listen to different media. Overall the hotel is really below Hilton standard. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because of the amazing gym.

Guys, I rarely write reviews - but for this hotel I would not regret to spend my time to write a comment. Great location, very nice staff and clean area! Totally recommending you and hope to visit this place once again

The hotel exceeded expectations- it truly is a 5* stay. The room was very large and comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good - one best selections had for long while. Great location opposite airport. Only challenge is stopping water escaping the shower onto floor ( minor point) . Two Sebastions at reception were helpful. Overall very much enjoyed our overnight airport stay.

Pros: The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with a bathtub. The bed is soft and comfortable, there is a big selection of food at breakfast at the hotel and it tastes good, the staff was nice, the pool is large and the water is quite warm Cons: The water in the pool sometimes smells bad, the gym is very small, the hairdryer, iron in the room look old and hard to use, the hotel location is not the best. Additionally, it seems that water is not complimentary as I was surprised when hotel staff brought a card machine to my room for payment. The price for water was also surprising; at that price, I would have never requested it and would have bought water from outside instead.

We stayed at this hotel during a weekend visit to Warsaw and joining our friends' wedding and it was perfectly located near old town, we found the service was great, we enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was delicious with lovely local specialties. The staff were very accommodating for guests with small children so that was nice as we stayed with a 1 year old.

The entire hotel had a great vibe, and is currently being modernized. Service was immaculate. The sleeping balm at the night desk was a nice touch to make the stay even more pleasant.

The welcoming and communication is a mess! 10 emails also in fb, IG for confirmation of the room, 4 days in advance. At the desk, the hostess told me they are overbooked so they can not answer right away, 4 days ok… I also book a dinner table 4 days in advance, the same mess… I have experiences in many NOBU, always fantastic but this one in Warsaw I really do not recommand!

Excellent location, and I personally got a room upgrade with a perfect view! The room wasn’t the cleanest, some stains on the chairs and so, but overall clean room that needed update. Shower and sink were quite bad as water came out very slowly and both needed update, but the hotel staff was very helpful and kind.

Отличный отель. Находится в самом центре в пешей доступностью, до всех достопримечательностей .завтраки хорошие, но лучше покупать их в самом отеле . Кровати удобные , номера просторные . Доброжелательный Персонал . Хорошая косметика .

Nach längerer Zeit haben wir mal wieder in dem uns seit seiner Eröffnung wohl bekannten HIR Jozefow vor den Toren Warschaus Quartier bezogen. Der Check-In verlief wie immer problemlos. Dabei wurde uns vom General Manager großzügigerweise ein Upgrade in die größte Suite des Hauses, die „Forest Suite“, eingeräumt. Diese Corner Suite verfügt neben einem Schlafzimmer auch über einen separaten Wohnbereich, einen geräumigen Essbereich, zwei Badezimmer und zwei Balkons, für die wunschweise auch Liegestühle zur Verfügung stehen. Wir möchten uns bei dieser Gelegenheit nochmals ausdrücklich beim Management des Hauses für die gezeigte Generosität bedanken, die bei anderen Hotels, auch und insbesondere bei den luxuriösen Häusern der InterContinental-Gruppe, nicht selbstverständlich ist. Nicht zuletzt die zur Verfügung gestellten Amenities gehen über das übliche Maß, an denen man ein Haus der Holiday Inn Kette misst, weit hinaus; sie sind als Ausdruck der Wertschätzung und Gastfreundschaft anzusehen. Wie immer, wenn wir im HIR Jozefow absteigen, freuen wir uns auf den vorzüglich ausgestatteten Fitnessbereich mit seinem wohlig temperierten Hallenbad sowie dem neuen Whirlpool. Bedauerlicherweise wird ein längerer Aufenthalt durch die harten Holzliegen (Pritschen) am Rande des Schwimmbades ohne weiche Auflagen nicht sehr angenehm gestaltet. Hier wäre mit einfachen Mitteln leicht Abhilfe zu schaffen. Ansonsten bietet das Hotel eine große Vielfalt von Freizeitmöglichkeiten (Balinesisches Spa, 2 Saunen, Golf, Minigolf, Fahrradverleih, Seile-Garten, Tennis, Volleyballplatz, Spielgeräte etc.), die keine Langeweile aufkommen lassen. Zum Wandern bieten sich die umliegenden Wälder sowie Wanderwege entlang der vor dem Haus verlaufenden Swider bis hin zur Weichsel an. Das hauseigene Restaurant Luna Sol verwöhnt seine Gäste vom Morgen bis zum Abend mit frisch zu bereiteten lokalen und internationalen Gerichten. Dabei ist die Abendkarte zwar bewusst nicht besonders umfangreich, doch die angebotenen Gerichte sind geradezu köstlich zubereitet und die Präsentation lässt die Vorfreude auf die Speisen noch steigen. Ein herzlicher Dank vor allem an das unsichtbare Küchenpersonal, das eine derart kreative Küche betreibt. Insgesamt hatten wir erneut einen sehr erfreulichen Aufenthalt in einem Holiday Inn, das insbesondere im Vergleich zu anderen Häusern dieser Kette in Europa durch sein vielfältiges Freizeitangebot punkten und hierdurch viele andere Häuser der Marke Holiday Inn klar hinter sich lassen kann. Natürlich geht die Zeit auch an diesem Haus nicht spurlos vorbei; nach rund anderthalb Jahrzehnten am Markt sollten irgendwann Überlegungen Raum greifen, die eine teilweise, ratierliche Renovierung zum Ziel haben, um das angestrebte und über Jahre erreichte Niveau des Hauses zu halten oder vielleicht sogar noch zu steigern.
