Hotel Dengan Breakfast di Azores, Portugal

We stayed for one night in an apartment. We were allowed to check in early which was great. The apartment was very spacious and had everything that you would need. The balcony was huge and had a great view. The only downside was that the bedroom and bathroom were really hot. There was air con in the living room but that did nothing for the rest of the apartment. We slept with the bedroom door open but then got bit to pieces by mozzies! Not sure we would stay in an apartment again but if the rooms have air con then we would try that.

The facility was clean and quite large. It was too cold for the pool. Do make sure you walk around the grounds and go to the water. We did not find it til the last night. Staff was super nice and attentive. They even set up reservations for us at a local restaurant. There are 3 restaurants but it seems they alternate which one is open. It was October so it may be due to the slower season.

Perfect location on a beautiful island. Better get the room with a sea view and watch the boats come in. Good breakfast plenty of choice and wonderful fresh fruit. Staff all very pleasant and spread the happiness. Excellent pool kept meticulously clean. Hot tub if rain comes and hot sauna. R3 Restaurant just across the road. Gentle stroll along the front into town and the marina.

The first room I was given was very old, with a broken floor, damp on the wall by the bed, and paint that was peeling and coming off. The room was located in a separate building from the hotel. I was quite disappointed because this is not what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. The explanation I was given was that I had booked through a budget platform. Luckily, after changing rooms twice, I was finally able to get a room in the hotel’s main building. The reception staff were very kind and understanding of my family’s needs. Once in the main building, everything was exactly as expected. The pool is beautiful with a stunning view, which is the reason I have returned to this property for the fifth time.

Parfois le personnel était très gentil et serviable et parfois rigide et rude. Il n'y a pas de cuisinette ni de réfrigérateur pour accomoder les clients. Les dortoirs sont très petits et les lits sont bruyants. Sur 6 lits, les deux du centre n'ont pas de prise ni de lumière. Pas de serviette ou de savon fournis. Les services sanitaires sont loin des dortoirs. Les toilettes coulaient et il y avait toujours de l'eau sur le plancher. Risque de glisser ! Pas d'air climatisé, pas de ventilateur et les armoires ne barrent pas. Il faut apporter son propre cadena. Pour terminer sur une note positive c'était propre et l'architecture de cet ancien bâtiment est magnifique.

Apreciamos sobretudo a comodidade do quarto, em especial no que diz respeito à dimensão e isolamento acústico. A cama é confortável, o chuveiro excelente, mas o arrumo de roupas é exíguo e parcialmente à vista. Está bem localizado e com espaço exterior agradável e desafogado. Pequeno almoço relativamente completo e de boa qualidade. Por fim, ressalta a simpatia e profissionalismo dos funcionários, sempre disponíveis.

We had a lovely stay at ANC. We spent 2 nights there after flying in from NYC. It was nice to have the pool, the terrace and be in walking distance to the beach (even though when we went there was too much seaweed to swim) most of the people at the front desk were very helpful. You can also walk to Caloura. These were all good things as we got acclimated from jet lag. Peaceful. One person in particular helped me with reservations and good details on our plans. The dinner was good and the breakfasts seem to be the usual fare, a good variety. We’d recommend staying here.

Отель достаточно старенький, но с атмосферой. Приятный персонал. Есть бассейн и джакузи, напротив отеля чудные виды на закат. Номера просторные, а вот кровати немного просевшие-одна была терпимой, а вторая совсем неудобная. Из минусов-плохая шумоизоляция и шумные горничные по утрам. Завтрак приличный-ничего сверхъестественного, но выбор большой и еда вкусная. Прямо под отелем полицейский участок и вечером в субботу останавливали все машины подряд-проверяли на алкоголь или наркотики.

Шикарные виды, веселый хозяин, удобная кровать и отличный душ в 11 номере. У нас должен был быть другой номер с балконом, но поселили в номер за кухней. Нам понравилось и мы не стали настаивать на переселении. В номере было тепло, что редко на островах в мае.

Хороший средний отель в специфическом стиле, как на фото. Хорошее постельное белье. Спа и спорт зал - одно название. Микро размер и не продумано.
