This hotel was very satisfying. Our windowless room was on the basement level, so we paid an extra 80 euros for three nights to upgrade to the seventh floor upon arrival. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station and 5 minutes from T-Centrum. The hotel has a clear outdoor theme with a strong design aesthetic, and some rooms feature unique designs. The hotel lobby boasts a spacious bar and restaurant area, which is very lively and almost completely full in the evenings. The room didn't have complimentary water or disposable toiletries, but there was a kettle.

This hotel is located right next to Stockholm's central train station, offering excellent transport links, including an express service to the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean, and come equipped with a kettle. A standard room costs around 1000 RMB per night and includes a very generous breakfast. This is considered quite inexpensive, even a real bargain, given the high prices in Nordic countries. It's a highly recommended option for anyone visiting Stockholm.

The hotel is very new, clean, and well-designed, and the breakfast was good. The reason for the low rating is that I really dislike how the same room type comes in different sizes, and you're always given the smallest one. Plus, I booked over a month in advance, but checking closer to the date showed that prices were actually cheaper. Since I chose a non-refundable rate, I was stuck with it. I feel like this hotel isn't very transparent. For anyone considering booking, I'd strongly advise choosing a flexible rate and keeping an eye on the prices.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family, hoping for a relaxing break. However, our experience was far from what we expected. Upon check-in, there was no mention of any building works taking place. It wasn’t until later that we noticed a small sign in the hotel lift, casually mentioning that disturbances might occur between 9 AM and 5 PM from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, this warning was not only insufficient but also inaccurate. We were rudely awakened at 7:15 AM by loud drilling, far earlier than the supposed start time. When we went down for breakfast, we were shocked to find that the building work had already begun, well before 9 AM too. The noise and disruption made it impossible to enjoy and certainly not a relaxing start to the day. The coffee was dreadful, as another reviewer had mentioned, and the breakfast experience was further marred by the staff’s lack of attention. If you are lucky enough to have your table wiped, don’t expect it to be done with a clean cloth or any cleaning products. Rooms shabby, location however is good. The situation worsened after we checked out. Despite having prepaid for our stay through Trip.com, we were charged again on our credit card for the entire stay, 24 hours after departure. This has resulted in the hassle of trying to get the hotel to refund us from overseas and we’ve had to engage our credit card company to assist with the dispute. While Trip.com has done their best to secure compensation for the building work disruption, the hotel has been utterly uncooperative occurring to trip.com seniors. Adding insult to injury, we didn’t even receive a goodbye when we checked out—just a lacklustre experience from start to finish. This hotel is part of a large chain it seems, but it’s clear that they are not customer-focused at all. I would strongly advise reconsidering whether they deserve your money. There are plenty of other places that understand the basics of hospitality….. improvements needed!

It was so nice, like the window and all. I was there for the concert and I got there without waiting for hours and all. Very clean, big room and they have lactose free and gluten free stuff for breakfast! Will come here again

The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, very close to the train station, right outside the door. It's super convenient for transport, and the surroundings are beautiful. The lobby is grand, and the front desk service is excellent. Breakfast is abundant, the room layout is well-designed, and the bed is very comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The location is pretty good, with a bus stop right downstairs. The room was also quite clean, and while the facilities are a bit old, they are still functional. Overall, it's a good place with high value for money.

Had a layover in Stockholm and didn't want to go into the city, so I stayed at the Radisson Blu hotel near the airport. It was a really good choice; their restaurant is also excellent. The hotel is quiet, compact, and very pleasant.

Good location, walking distance to bus/train/subway stations and many attractions in Stockholm. Superior Queen Room is very spacious and has two big windows, great lights. There was a musty smell in the room and the bathroom could be cleaner. Hand towels could be provided in addition to bath towels. The reception staff was not the friendliest. Also, I didn't like the fact that you cannot eat outside food in the common areas, either you have to buy from the restaurant or cafe or eat at your room.

Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore. The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit. Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm — especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.
