My overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to transportation. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The temperature and humidity inside were just right. The facilities were comprehensive; a soak in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing and helped ease the fatigue after hiking. The service was meticulous, thoughtful, and prompt. I had a very pleasant stay throughout my trip and would give it five stars. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changbai Mountain. The service was very attentive, and they even gave me a small gift.

This is an excellent hotel with incredibly warm and attentive service! Firstly, it's the closest hotel to the old mountain gate, just a 2-minute walk away, so we didn't have to queue at all during the National Day holiday. Secondly, they offer high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off throughout our stay, and can also take us to nearby attractions. Thirdly, the breakfast was amazing! The restaurant staff were very enthusiastic and proactively asked if we needed anything. The ginseng chicken soup, noodles, dumplings, and wontons were all delicious and plentiful, perfect for us southerners. Fourthly, a dedicated butler was provided. Butler Li Chao was incredibly responsible and always ready to help with anything. Fifthly, all the front desk staff were wonderful. They helped with our luggage and reservations, and the service was exceptional. They even upgraded us to a family room when they saw I was traveling with two elderly family members, which I really appreciate. Sixthly, the hot springs were superb, and we could book them anytime. Seventhly, there's a food court right next door, making dining very convenient. The stone pot bibimbap, stir-fried pork with kimchi, and BBQ were all delicious. Eighthly, the hotel provided complimentary access to the Volcanic Stone Forest attraction, river trekking, and ginseng digging, all of which were a lot of fun and suitable for the whole family. My family had a fantastic time, and we'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Changbai Mountain.

One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot. Room Rescue Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next. Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. The experience at Sheraton Changbaishan Wanda was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located right within the resort area, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the mountain view was absolutely stunning. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. It's a perfect choice for families traveling with children. The overall resort feel was excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Changbaishan.

This hotel is located within the Enduli scenic area, right next to Autumn Duck Park, making it very pleasant for a stroll. There are also many dining options outside the scenic area, which are more affordable and tastier than those inside. It's very convenient, just a short walk across a small bridge. This was the second hotel we stayed at in Erdaodaohe Town during the National Day holiday. Compared to the 2000 RMB hot spring hotel, the rooms here were much more comfortable and spacious. They even had a small balcony perfect for sunbathing or drying clothes. The service was also very thoughtful. We, a family of two adults and one child, had originally booked a king-size room. However, Li at the front desk upgraded us to a family room, saving us several hundred yuan! We were so happy; it really felt like a home away from home. The shuttle driver, Master Zhang, was patient and polite. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for at least one night to experience it.

This is a hot spring hotel with both indoor and outdoor pools (I highly recommend the outdoor ones, the air in Changbai Mountain is truly amazing). The room facilities are a bit retro, but the location is excellent, right across from Meiren Song Park (I strongly recommend this park). Taxis to various attractions are almost always just the starting fare. The staff are great, especially the lady at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant. She greeted us with a warm smile every day and even guided us to the guest room elevator, fearing we'd walk a long way. Thumbs up!

I recently stayed at Hanting Hotel during my trip to [insert city]. While the hotel provided me with a comfortable stay, there were a few aspects that left something to be desired. The hotel's lobby exuded a modern and clean atmosphere, which was quite welcoming. Furthermore, the hotel's security measures were commendable, ensuring a safe environment for all guests. My room at Hanting Hotel was cozy and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly. The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience. In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, catering to both local and international palates. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a friendly smile from the staff. Overall, Hanting Hotel offered a decent stay with its convenient location, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. However, improvements in sound insulation, room cleanliness, and inclusion of additional room amenities would greatly enhance the overall experience.

This month at work has been incredibly exhausting, so I wanted to find a place to really unwind for a couple of days. The first place that came to mind was the Swissotel at Huamei Holy Land. And sure enough, it's truly a place where I can relax. Compared to my first visit five years ago, the facilities are much more comprehensive now, with more activities and a wider selection of delicious food. What hasn't changed, though, is the tranquility of autumn in the northeast, and the beautiful scenery within the resort grounds. Also, Pig Tail Bay under the bridge seems even more beautiful than before. The staff are so discreet you barely notice them, yet everything is taken care of so well that you almost don't need them to be actively present. At least for me, I appreciate such thoughtful yet unobtrusive service. If I ever need a complete break and some self-reflection again, I'll definitely choose Huamei Holy Land.

Room Amenities: The two-bedroom apartment is perfect for families, featuring two bedrooms, a living room, and a bathroom. The decor is exquisite, and the facilities are complete and new. The room uses a keyless entry system; you simply add the host on WeChat to receive the code, which is very convenient as you don't need a physical card. The only issue is the poor soundproofing of the apartment building; you can hear firecrackers and fireworks outside, as well as loud conversations from next door. Location & Transportation: The apartment is located in Qingshan Apartment Phase 3, right near the ski resort. The hotel offers shuttle service to the ski slopes (though it still requires a short walk). There's a supermarket, bar, and ski rental shop all on the B1 level. Walking to the ski resort takes about 10 minutes, so it's a bit of a distance. Breakfast: The variety isn't extensive, but it's enough to fill you up before hitting the slopes for a full day of skiing. Initially, I booked for three nights, but the snow melted due to warm weather, so we only skied for two days. Besides skiing, there isn't much else to do in the area. Plus, with bad weather forecasted for the sixth day of the ***** New Year, we ended up wasting one night's booking and returned home early.

When visiting Changchun, I wanted to stay somewhere close to the train station, so I chose the Lavande Hotel. I've stayed at their properties in other cities before, and as expected, Jinjiang's brands never disappoint. The environment is top-notch, and the service attitude is excellent. Most importantly, it's incredibly convenient for transportation, just a three-minute walk from the train station – you can't beat that! The area around is bustling, with plenty of dining options. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Changchun, especially for those needing to catch a train. Highly recommended!
