What a surprise. I cancelled two other bookings to choose this hotel. And you should do the same. This hotel will meet all your needs for visiting Xining. I can see that this hotel gets top marks for customer service. Location, facilities, very clean, all 5 out of 5. The breakfast buffet serves healthy food, there were not a lot of items, but it's on a quality scale. Xining is a beautiful city and so are their local citizens. Top attractions the temple and the wildlife zoo, are not to be missed. Because there is a big variance of 20 degrees from day to night, the hotel room does get hot in the afternoon, that is the nature of the northwest of China. Hotel will provide a fan to cool down the room.. I will be back to Xining and this hotel.

因距離坐青藏鐵路還有10小時，便租一個廉價酒店放低行李及梳洗。從平台的資料，是新酒店，但去到才發現它是在一座舊式的商用大廈某幾層。所以房間內除了張床及電視較為可取之外，其他設施都有著歲月的痕迹。舊，不打緊，因為我都是租10小時，但最不可接受是，房間內的空調，無論怎樣調校都是不能運作，房間已經無窗，又沒空調，很難受。

It is a nice and clean hotel. The service pretty great, they show their hospitality. However, there is only thing need to improve is the elevator. There is only one elevator in used, and another on is out of order for some reason. We need to waiting there for like 10 min to get on the elevator. Overall, it is nice and clean hotel. If you want go to CAKA for next day. It is a good option -they are only ten min drive from hotel to CAKA.

had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, very convenient and easily accessible to nearby attractions, shopping areas, and food options, which made the whole trip much more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and I could tell that the housekeeping standards are consistently good. The staff were also friendly and helpful whenever assistance was needed, which added to the overall positive experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient as well. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for both short and long trips, and I would definitely return again in the future

Clean and comfortable rooms as well as common areas. Convenient location (close to shopping mall, railway station and the amazing museum about ******* culture). Caring and foreigner-friendly staff. During winter, the room was quite hot and the aircon did not work. Opening the window helped a bit.

We stayed at Sofitel Xining for a total of four nights, and our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are modern and spacious, and the facilities (pool, gym, executive lounge) are world-class — but what truly made the difference was the incredible hospitality. A very special thank you to Lucy and Mia at the front desk. Their warm welcome, kindness, and proactive support made us feel genuinely cared for. They went above and beyond to help us during our stay — from arranging transportation to providing great local recommendations. Their professionalism combined with their friendliness made every interaction a pleasure. We also want to thank Jenny, the Staff Manager, for her attention to detail and personal care. She checked on us several times to make sure everything was perfect, and we felt truly valued as guests. It’s rare to experience this level of service — we felt more like friends than hotel guests. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Xining.

We booked. 2 rooms and we’re upgraded to suite, very big and comfortable room however the heater is a mobile type and too small, I it is not enough during the winter especially snowing outside. Breakfast very limited choice , only Chinese cuisine is available

What a fun hotel. In the heart of a busy pocket of Xining with shops and restaurants surrounding the hotel. Clean and modern rooms. Excellent breakfast, easy parking and on the west side of town which makes access to Qinghai Lake easy. 100% recommended. Thanks for a great stay.

【絕對避雷！人身安全毫無保障，醉酒經理深夜闖房施暴！】 凌晨三點被酒店醉酒經理暴力砸門，不問緣由説是由於我們吸煙引發煙霧報警，就瘋狂辱罵我們，甚至直接揮拳朝臉上打，拳頭擦着鼻尖過去，差點就被打傷！全程渾身酒氣，醉到完全失控，打砸手機和眼鏡，凌晨五點嚇的我們去報警處理，早上消防過來檢查核實是酒店房間設計問題，竟然是加濕器引發報警！ 花錢住宿，私隱被踐踏，人身被威脅，人格被侮辱，管理爛到根裏。在此鄭重提醒所有計劃入住的消費者：千萬不要拿自己的人身安全、私隱安全和出行體驗賭！這家酒店從管理層到管控體系已經完全爛透，你永遠不知道深夜會不會有一個醉酒的管理人員，暴力闖進你的房間，對你揮拳相向、惡意辱罵。住這裏就是拿自己的安全開玩笑，一生黑，絕對不推薦任何人入住！ 本人願意對以上言論負法律責任！
