While visiting Qingdao, I decided to spend a day in Jinan and chose the Shangri-La. Before checking in, I called to confirm that my room was ready. The lobby is impressive, and the room was spacious, quiet, and well-equipped. The toiletries were excellent, and I particularly liked the eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes and combs. The hotel is conveniently located opposite Quancheng Square, perfect for an evening stroll to watch the musical fountain. Baotu Spring is also within walking distance. There are plenty of malls nearby, and both takeout and dining options are easily accessible. The old city, however, is genuinely congested; it took almost 40 minutes to get to Jinan Station by taxi, and I barely made my train. The hotel also seems to offer intangible cultural heritage activities, but I didn't have time to participate. I would definitely choose this hotel again for a more leisurely trip to Jinan.

I came for a concert at the Civic Center, so I booked this hotel near the North Station – super convenient! It's just a short walk from the subway exit (and there were still so many food stalls open even after 11 PM when the concert ended, it was amazing!). It's quite quiet, the bedding is comfortable, and the environment is clean and hygienic. The air conditioning was wonderfully cool. PS: Thanks to the front desk for even preparing little souvenirs! Both front desk ladies had excellent service attitudes. Loved it, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao.

The hotel has a great ambiance; the lobby is simple yet elegant, and as soon as you walk in, you feel very comfortable. The room decor is simple and cozy, and the cleanliness is exceptional – the floors and surfaces are spotless. The bedding feels high-quality, and it's very relaxing to lie on. The soundproofing is excellent; I barely heard any outside noise at night and slept soundly until morning. There was plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The facilities are well-maintained. Della🍓 provided thoughtful service, handled the check-in process quickly, and was very friendly, patiently answering all our questions. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. I'd also like to specially thank Della and the hotel for the thoughtful arrangements they made for my husband's birthday. The room decorations and cake were a wonderful surprise!

Before our arrival, Xiao Zhang from the hotel proactively called to ask about our needs. Our two room requests (adjoining rooms and a high floor) were both fulfilled. The room service was incredibly responsive, which deserves praise! There's an onsen for rainy evenings, and a beach and pool for sunny days. I heard they also have a pet park and a cat cafe (didn't get a chance to visit), so as a family-friendly hotel, the facilities are quite comprehensive. I was quite worried after seeing many negative reviews before our trip. While it's true that there are signs of age and some humidity issues, overall, it exceeded my expectations. I have two suggestions: 1. The welcome fruit could be improved. The current quality is quite average. Perhaps replace it with local specialties like Qing Shi calcium milk biscuits or shell-shaped pastries, which would offer more consistent quality. 2. There were few bed rails, and they didn't seem very sturdy. An upgrade would be appreciated.

I brought my friends to Qingdao again, and I'm incredibly satisfied! 👍 First, let's talk about the accommodation. I booked a Deluxe Twin Room at the Westin, and the room was bright and spacious. The bathroom facilities were complete, quiet, and odor-free. The air conditioning was adjustable and not too noisy – these were all significant improvements compared to my stay at the Westin in Shanghai a few days prior. Next, the service. The customer service lady proactively asked about my needs, and all my requests – for a quiet room, far from the elevator, and a large room – were met, not just formally. The cleaning auntie was also very enthusiastic and available whenever called. Then, the hotel's location is just perfect! It's within walking distance of key attractions, and for further places, the subway entrance is right outside. It's also very close to Joy City, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient, with excellent service to boot… Most importantly, Qingdao now offers free subway rides for seniors over 60, which is a thoughtful and touching gesture! I am very pleased with my hotel choice, proud to recommend this trip, and absolutely full of praise for Qingdao! 👍🌷

The hotel decor is quite new; there was a slight smell on the first day, but it was acceptable. We booked a standard room, but the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe twin room. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, and my child loved it. Additionally, the hotel has a laundry room and a gym. There are many residential areas around the hotel with plenty of food options; the Shuangheyuan restaurant nearby was particularly good. The only downside is that it's not a sea view room. If this room were beachfront, it would easily cost 1500+ yuan during peak season. The staff inside were also very good, especially the auntie in the laundry room, who was very diligent.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mövenpick Hotel, as the decor, service, and dining all offered exceptional value for money. Upon arrival, the welcoming receptionist kindly upgraded me to a generous room. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel also provided complimentary welcome amenities, including beer, soft drinks, and fresh fruit. seasonal fruit. The daily buffet breakfast and evening light bites were equally impressive and delicious. However, I did encounter a couple of drawbacks: Location: As a non-driver, the hotel's location proved somewhat inconvenient, requiring me to rely entirely on taxis to get around. Smoking Policy: I was concerned to see guests smoking in common areas, particularly while waiting for the elevators. This inevitably forced fellow guests and staff to inhale secondhand smoke. Furthermore, placing large ashtray stands beside the elevator banks on every floor implicitly encourages this behavior. I strongly encourage the management to consider implementing a smoke-free policy in all indoor public spaces for the health and well-being of both guests and staff.

The hotel is nowhere near as luxurious as the pictures suggest. It looks quite old in person, even for a relatively new hotel. It has a very dated feel. All of the deluxe king rooms are located near the runway, and the sound of planes taking off is incredibly loud. There's no way you'd get any sleep at night. I eventually asked the front desk to change my room to a twin room on the terminal side, which was much quieter. The layout and size of the twin room were quite suitable. Although the hotel has a dedicated tunnel connecting directly to the airport, it's a very long walk, about 10-15 minutes. Personally, I don't think the deluxe king room is worth over 400 yuan at all. The room felt cramped and old, and the bedding had a smell, possibly of disinfectant.

This hotel is located in Huangdao District, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it perfect for guests who prefer a quieter environment without large crowds. The indoor pool is spacious and well-lit, with depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters, which is great for families and those learning to swim. The beach is a mere 3-minute walk away. It's a public beach, not a private one, so swimming isn't recommended. However, it's fantastic for clam digging, playing in the sand, and wading in the water in the mornings and evenings. It offers a more private beach experience compared to the crowded public swimming beaches, making it an ideal compromise. There are also water sports facilities operated by third parties on the beach, offering additional options. The hotel features a resident band performance in the evenings, which can be enjoyed directly from the outdoor terrace dining area. I recommend booking a room with a terrace so you can dine and drink while listening to the music. Alternatively, a sea-view room with a balcony also offers a good view. The hotel also has an outdoor mini zoo with cute animals like miniature horses, which is a fun attraction for both adults and children. The breakfast is decent, meeting the standard for a five-star hotel. This room type offers excellent value for money, so remember to book in advance during peak season. By the way, a little heads-up: Qingdao is under a fishing ban throughout July and August, so there's no such thing as ”freshly caught seafood” during this time. Most seafood is frozen or imported from other regions. Friends, be wary of false advertising from some seafood stalls.

The room is really good, there are bathrobes, the space is large, the sea breeze is cold these days, but the hotel is very warm! It is much better than the hotel booked in Weihai before. After returning to the hotel, I had a red rash on my stomach and arm. So I ordered a takeaway hot water bag at one o'clock in the morning in the middle of the night. The sister at the front desk and the takeaway clerk helped to fill the hot water bag with hot water. Later, because of the red rash, I was afraid to sleep.
