Hotel Dengan Gim di Rayong, Thailand

The room is very spacious, with corner windows overlooking the streets below. As a budget hotel, it does surpass its name, being a notch higher. With that said, as the name implies, there are some amenities that are not available in the room, such as hairdryer, safe box and hotel slippers.

Hotels is nice. But there is smth off about my stay. I booked 2 single beds, however when we checked in there was 1 double bed. We told them right away they said that gonna make 2 beds for us. We spent whole day by the pool but when came back found just extra bed. Had to ask reception again. Finally they changed our room, but it should take whole day. Would nice next time to solve this kinda stuff a bit faster. Thanks.

-10/10 for the room, location, and cleanliness with nice city view of the city. -1/10 for Seevices. PM staff at the reception looked exhausted, and I did not feel welcomed at checking in. -5/10 for breakfast as some of the food were cold instead of keeping them warm. FB staff had 0 service skills. No communication and ignoring customers. - It is so difficult to see a smile from any staff here except the security guy. This is my second stay here, but last time was 200% better.

For the brand name of Hilton I expect higher standard than others. If 1 things disappointed, I am too lazy to write a feedback but there were 3 disappointments for me. 1. Ask for a shower cap, staff took almost 30 minutes to bring up (should there be one in the room but none) 2. Staff making omelet egg skip my order and let 2-3 customers passed me and did not apologize. 3. Restroom toilet seat had yellow pee on the seat. Not just 1 toilet but both toilets for the public restroom on the 24th floor. And this happen at 8:30 am. Over all I am disappointed .

Чисто при заселении, уютно, балкон и сушка для белья. Не понятно когда убираются. У нас не убрались: поставили воду у двери и всё. Тропическим душем нельзя было воспользоваться, поскольку сантехника протекала. Пришли наладить - не помогло.

The hotel is pretty clean and located in the city center, very convenient. The breakfast was really good with the variety of choices for you to choose. Pleasant stay.

Be careful! This hotel has 2 zones that are not connected to each other. The distance is approximately 600 meters and there is only one zone next to the sea. But in the booking at Trip.com, there is no information on this matter. Pictures can mislead you. If you expect to stay in a beachfront hotel, you may be disappointed.

Достойный отель за свою цену (бронировали по 8тыс./сут.)!!! Бунгало sea view (A-3). По порядку: завтраки хорошие, уборка в номере со сменой белья каждый день, хорошие бесплатные шезлонги непосредственно на пляже и отдельно в тени деревьев, красивая зеленая территория, массаж по мне так на 4. Рядом в 150м. хороший ресторан Reef Bar & Restaurant возле отеля Tamarind (по мне так один из лучших на Самете) с фаер шоу каждый вечер, места лучше бронировать заранее тк посадка всегда полная. Так же рядом неплохой бар с музыкой… Стоянка такси в 100м.

Midweek break with 2 friends on Koh Samet: resort location is ideal, 5 mins by foot from island's main town, on the beach, for ppl in need of a little more liveliness. Deluxe Cottage was a bit dated, good amenities but furnishings are limited, electric sockets were not stable (type C falls out), no aircon in the bathroom. Walking distance to main beach(club) is rather far (5-10 mins). Generally the whole 'Deluxe' section of resort seems to be given less attention, which the restaurant closed and the pool sparsely tended, but is also much more quiet and peaceful in mornings and evenings. The main section, on Sai Kaew beach, is better furnished and closer to the reception and restaurants. The resort is generally pleasant, well maintained with a large staff that is well trained, very friendly and helpful. Pickup service by boat and jeep taxi went well, however, staff loading luggage on the ferry are not very careful (left my suitcase with high value items stacked high on the deck with risk of falling into the water!!). Beachclub is the best on this beach and very comfortable, great food at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and attentive, but when busy, tend to randomly forget orders (or take very long +30 mins to bring a single cola). Minor inconveniences in paradise... Overall, amazing resort, decent rooms, great service and 10/10 would return again.

I got the double room deluxe , and it was pretty good .The bed was actually comfortable enough and the room is clean.Ac worked well .I looked around in other places and apparently the prices are in the same range in that beach for that kind of bungalow/room, but the good thing is this structure has a minimarket and a pretty good restaurant included (did not try the pizza though) .It s a really chill place , bathroom super basic but still ok for my standards at least. The staff is nice and helpful and you walk 20 meters from the room to the beach .It is literally there. So if you plan to stay in that beach it is definetely a good option and they have many room types to choose.

We lived on the 3rd floor, which means you need to climb all the way to your room. It's okay if you like to exercise, but not okay for the people who are not active. Don't worry, just ask and they will help you with your suitcases. The view in the bathroom is great! And the bathroom itself is great. The room is okay, the bed is comfortable, just pillows are uneven... The breakfast is average... No coffee machine and the choices are very limited. Overall I would say that the price-quality ratio is very reasonable.

Гостиница удобно расположена, но к ней не подвозят тук-туки, от остановки надо идти по дворам, первый раз думали, что не найдем, потом привыкли, когда знаешь дорогу. Расположение удобное, на 1 линии, но перпендикулярно морю, поэтому окна выходили на задний двор и туалет ресторана. Видимо за низкий сезон работники ресторана привыкли там сидеть, разговаривать, с детьми играть, днем трудно было отдохнуть, постоянно за окном шум. Даже когда мы попросили их быть потише, они через какое-то время там опять собирались и бесконечно громко общались, смотрели видео, играли. Потом сместились на площадку перед ресепшеном, но они так громко общались, что шум все равно мешал отдыхать. При этом в ресторане сотрудников не найдешь, когда надо заказать еду или заплатать, они все там отдыхают в свое удовольствие. У гостиницы свои лежаки на пляже, но нас первый день пытались оттуда выгнать сотрудники ресторана и настаивали, что мы должны что-то заказать в ресторане, это испортило впечатление, конечно. Странно, что в гостинице есть ресторан, но нет завтраков, с завтраками было бы удобнее. В 9 утра ресторан привозят большие группы китайских туристов, в принципе, как и в другие соседние рестораны на первой линии. Номер неплохой, но старый, кровать удобная, по ТВ только каналы на тайском языке. В ванной течет унитаз, кран, по-видимому так же и этажом выше, потому что с потолка капала вода и на потолке плесень, а в самом туалете нет вентиляции и ужасный запах плесени. Туалетной бумаги нет, перед входом в туалет весит держатель с тонкими салфетками, что очень неудобно. Мы жили на 1 этаже, так как среди нас были люди с ограниченными возможностями, перед номером стол и два кресла, но сидеть перед туалетом ресторана совсем не приятно. Также сотрудники в этом месте едят свою еду и иногда запахи очень неприятные. Гостиница на очень непритязательных посетителей, но море замечательное и два шага от пляжа. На главной улице много ресторанов, массажей, два 7-11, обменники. От парома ехать пару минут.

Nous avons été dans cet hôtel une nuit car tout était complet ce jour là. Les chambres sont alignées dans un couloir et la plupart n’ont pas de fenêtre. Elles sont petites ( place du lit et pour circuler autour) et sombres. La partie de plage devant l’hôtel est bondée et c’est la zone de parking des jetskis. Le prix est trop élevé surtout que le petit déjeuner n’est pas compris. Pour un prix inférieur dans un autre hôtel, nous avons eu une chambre avec vue sur la mer et très bon petit déjeuner. Si vous aimez la foule et que cela ne vous dérange pas de dormir dans une chambre sans fenêtre, ça passe. C’est au milieu de tous les restaurants et magasins de souvenirs et pas loin du port

A very small but natural resort with only 25 bungalow type rooms. Some detached some twins. Room Interiors are modern and clean. No catering service at this venue yet restaurants are plentiful within walking distance. But the great advantage is it's privacy with direct outlet to the sea for coral snorkeling and Sunrise Beach . Walking to the famous Sai Kaew Beach is just a few minutes walk. Free Wifi coverage is thru out the entire venue including the seaside. The owner and her members are very nice and friendly. Discount coupons of some restaurants on Sai Kaew Beach are available at front desk on request. Room cleaning only available for before 11.00 am. Check out before 11.30 am. Some rooms are too far from Seaside and some are too hidden. The bests are #1 to 4, 8 to 11. We stay at #2 was excellent. To and fro the Main Pier is easy by Public Transport for just few minutes drive. If you have heavy luggage, hotel has tricycle to pick up at or deliver to Public Transport Stop.

Домик отличный, все чисто, прекрасное постельное белье, пахнет порошком, красивые виды, персонал очень внимательный и отзывчивый, до пляжа хорошего и влево и вправо пройти буквально 1-2 мигуты, не очень понравился пляж: немного илистый берег и камни, но в общем отель очень атмосферный

The hotel is so beautiful. The hotel decoration and present in traditional in Thai theme. Everything is hotel in so elegant. The hotel room is so cleanness and full amenities. I celebrate my birthday here. I so appreciate for birthday text on TV screen. The hotel service is very good. I recommend to stay here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very comfy and friendly hotel in rayong. Room rate was reasonable, love the happy hours by the pool. Dinner at the pool was superb - all dishes were yummy!! We will definitely come back ❤️.

Great location. The beach is great, easy to access. Hotel stuffs are friendly and helpful, even security guard is very friendly. The room is not in great condition. It is a bit old and needs some maintainance.

โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ติดกับทะเล ทำเลดี เงียบสงบ เป็นส่วนตัว เดินลงไปเล่นชายหาดได้เลย ห้องพักรีโนเวทใหม่ ห้องสะอาด แอร์เย็นฉ่ำๆ ห้องน้ำอาจจะไม่ได้รีโนเวท แต่ก็ใช้งานได้ดี มีไดร์เป่าผม มีตู้เย็น กาน้ำร้อน สภาพแวดล้อมภายนอกที่พัก/พื้นที่ส่วนกลางดูเก่า ถ้าจัดสวน ตัดแต่งต้นไม้น่าจะดีกว่านี้ และควรมีการดูแลความสะอาดบริเวณพื้นที่ส่วนกลางเพิ่มขึ้นอีก

Positives: ＞ Beautifully designed - the outward appearance of the hotel is quite spectacular and is very well decorated. ＞ Comfortable rooms - the beds are large and comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions and the rooms have plenty of places to sit. ＞ Room size - rooms are large and feel spacious. ＞ Cleanliness - The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas. ＞ Staff - Staff were very friendly and accommodating. ＞ Location - the location is ideal for walkability to shops, restaurants and the beach. Negatives: ＞ Events - The hotel also hosts events which can be very loud and go on late into the night. ＞ Doors/soundproofing - We noticed that there was a significant gap in our door which meant that it wasn't particularly soundproof and we were kept awake most of the night (until 2am) by other guests outside our room. ＞ Location - although I have stated the positives about the location above, the negatives are that the hotel is in close proximity to some bar with live music or karaoke which is incredibly loud and can go on very late into the night. Both the noise from the guests at this hotel and the event down the road was very significant and kept us awake late into the night. ＞ Breakfast - Breakfast is served cold. Although they have the equipment to keep the food warm, for some reason they choose not to. Unless you are lucky enough to catch something as soon as it is placed in the container it will go cold quickly. Eggs, bacon, fried rice, local dishes etc are all cold by the time you get them which is not common for Thai hotels and also very disappointing. Comments for the hotel: ＞ Doors - please ensure all doors do not have gaps in between. This can be done easily with some rubber lining on the door frame. This would increase the soundproofing of the room dramatically. ＞ Noise - I understand that the hotel cannot control the bar down the street which plays loud music all night but it does have control over its own events and its own guests. There should be strict rules about drunk guests making noise late into the night and knocking on doors. Nowhere in the rules does it state ”quiet hours” which I believe it should. I understand that events at the hotel serve as a large source of the hotel's income, but there's no need to neglect other guests who stay there. ＞ Breakfast - use the equipment you already own properly and keep the breakfast food hot. I do not know any Thai people who enjoy cold food and keeping the food warm would increase the quality of the breakfast dramatically. Despite being a small cafe, the breakfast has quite a variety and the flavour is good but the temperature of the food really ruins the breakfast.

Cleanliness - The room was fantastic, spotless in fact, 5/5. Location - I give this 3/5 because the hotel is located at a beautiful beach. However, the street around the hotel has nothing else on it (not the fault of the hotel obviously). The beach itself is beautiful, I will repeat, but only immediately in front of the hotel. The rest of the beach is very dirty. Service - This is where this hotel becomes a real disaster, and if I could I would give this section 0/5. We checked in around 11pm to 11:30pm. The staff came to the counter while watching a movie on his phone and left the movie playing full volume whilst looking for our key. After a very long process of checking the computer he led us to a room. He stumbled a lot on his way and appeared drunk. When we got to the room, he looked inside and told us it was already occupied. He told us that our room had been sold to someone else because we were late checking in and led us back to the reception where he walked off somewhere without telling us any more information. We stayed at the reception and used the bathroom facilities in the meantime. I also proceeded to contact trip dot com's customer support to let them know about the issue. After a while had passed he came back and walked past us to the bathroom. After coming out of the bathroom he led us to a new room and told us that this room was now available. The whole thing was bizarre and we were caused to worry unnecessarily by being told that we didn't have a room. I cannot think of any justification for his actions and it started off the stay at this hotel very poorly. Amenities - The amenities provided by the hotel were adequate. They included a bottle of water in the room. I do like when hotels provide toothbrushes and other smaller things so that would be the difference between me providing a 4/5 and a 5/5 for this part.

Отдыхали семьей с ребенком 12 лет. Отель был очень достойный, расположен на 1ой линии, вид из номера был на море, каждый вечер с балкона наблюдали шикарные закаты, так же о.Самет. Бассейн очень удачно расположен, буквально рядом с пляжем. Кормили по меркам Тая очень прилично. Номера обновленные, уборка ежедневная. Но само место очень спокойное, пойти не куда, кроме кафешек на пляже. Отель рекомендую.
