This was an excellent accommodation very close to lax airport The room was very nice accommodation with comfortable bed coffee machine for your morning coffee. Overall a nice room. The staff was above and beyond the nicest you would ever hope to expect. They were office y friendly and very accommodating and helpful. I would give this hotel a 10 out of 10 stars

It was a good place, but they said that breakfast and looked at 12 and then and they like at 9:30 and breakfast still ended up ending earlier than that. So overall great Place with friendly staff, only downside is location if you want to be close to UC Davis and Breakfast ends way to early and you’d have to get up at 6 AM to eat it. And not many options if you make it.

Fairly tricky location with homelessness but on the periphery of that area, if you come out of the hotel and turn left down towards town hall area you’re not in that problem area. If you need to go the other direction it may be best to go a few blocks up before turning towards union sq area. Breakfast was light but had porridge, juice, yoghurts and fruit!

Very please with the room. Bed was comfortable. Will be making reservations for future trip to Santa Ana.

The hotel itself was very nice, a little older but clean and comfortable. The shuttle from the airport was late-I waited more than 30 minutes- and nobody answered when I called or emailed. I tried several times and nobody rejoined.

Well hotel is “Oldtimer” and definitely below average ranking visible here in trip.com web. Check in was quick, short walk/drive to designated building. Corridors in the building looks and smells like 1970’s, so initial shock but room was bit better. Old style but ok to sleep one night. Breakfast - same low quality food as any American hotel chain with this price range. Overall I would not come again.

The hotel room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the blackout curtains once closed, the room became completely dark, which made it perfect for a good night’s rest. Even during the daytime, the room stayed wonderfully dark and peaceful. Also got a workout in the gym. However, I was disappointed with one aspect of my stay. Since I had a late flight, I requested a late checkout. Unfortunately, there was ongoing construction noise that made it difficult to rest. The constant sound was quite frustrating and took away from what would have otherwise been a very relaxing experience. Overall, the room itself was excellent, but the noise issue impacted my final impression.

Convenient location for visitors to San Mateo area. Good breakfast; appears recently-remodeled. Comfortable beds. Plenty of parking, including underground garage.

After reading other reviews, I was a bit skeptical about staying here. Yes, it is a bit outdated but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was quite courteous and there was actual housekeeping service which most other places no longer offer. This was one of the least expensive places to stay in the area and I would absolutely book here again. Good value.

Service was good espc front desk. However, our room has dented walls, pet fur, plus toilet bowl was shaking when sat on it. As we had a packed schedule, there was no time to feedback to reception. Bathoom door was old and peeling. Forgot to take pics as verification. Rooms needed refurbished. Was staying in Rm 809 for 2 nites.
