We had an excellent experience here! The location is great, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and Dafo Temple. The non-smoking room truly had no cigarette smell and was clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean (the staff cleans them several times a day). Upon checking in, they sent us files with tips, recommendations, and information about the tours they organize (it's possible to book round-trip transportation to Danxia in the afternoon for 40¥). The hostel staff were very kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of here. The only area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi quality, which was slow in the evenings, but this was minor compared to all the other positive aspects. We would certainly return on a future trip to Zhangye!

I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

This trip to Lanzhou brought me a great sense of security because of this folk custom! Absolute surprise, great value for money! The first thing I felt when I entered the room was that it was clean and tidy, and the lady boss was super welcoming ❤️For me, a foreigner, I’m really lucky👍 I’m traveling as a girl, and the sisters I live with are also super nice, so we went together I watched the concert, ate local specialties together, and even made an appointment to check in to Lanzhou together. The landlady also thoughtfully recommended me check-in places and routes. How lucky I am to meet all kinds of people. The accommodation environment is clean and sanitary. The sisters who live with me are all very qualified. They are not noisy or noisy and will not affect your rest. The service provided by the landlady is also good. Believe me, I really recommend this folk custom!

Stayed for one night and felt pretty good! I want to say that my thoughts are probably the same as the cabins that you usually stay in when you stay in a youth hostel. This time I felt that there were side curtains when I slept, but the two beds were spread out and I felt that there was no privacy. I was a little uncomfortable. I hope the boss will ask the guests for their opinions and add a track and a curtain above the connection between the two beds. Everything else is quite satisfactory!

A room of about ten square meters. Closing the door isolates you from the city's hustle and bustle. A clean and tidy bed. Bright and spotless windows. Warm, thick slippers and paper cups. Not from a street vendor or some cheap online store. A convenient, pristine white power strip charger gives you a sense of security. Outside the window, the Yellow River flows calmly and clearly, a sight only seen this season. Looking up, you see the landmark White Pagoda Mountain, its desolate, bare branches stretching towards the sky, a harbinger of approaching spring.

Lanzhou Dongli Building Food Street, the price is about 26 yuan a night, there are many affordable and delicious meals on the first floor ～ 10 yuan can eat a vegetarian, just like the university canteen, the leisure hostel has good lighting, clean and bright, and the proprietress mopping the floor every day to clean the room for about 3 hours. This should be the best store for lighting from Jingdezhen, Lushan, Shangqiu, Kaifeng, Dengfeng, Luoyang, Xi'an, Tianshui, all the way, the location is very good, there is no noise of the vehicles downstairs ～ Very quiet and open, Lanzhou's mountains and rivers ～ at a glance, panoramic! So you come to Lanzhou to play, you don't need to live in a big hotel of 200-300 Yuan. It takes about 50 yuan a day to spend here, and it is solved by eating and lodging. Whether it is looking for a job or traveling, it is very convenient here!

I booked a bed in the female dormitory for 2 nights, my friends booked other beds/rooms. The hostel has all the necessary amenities. There is even a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The bedding was fresh and clean. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. You will need to bring your own shower gel for the shower and the toilets are squat toilets which is standard in China. Met a lovely German girl while staying here. The host is a lovely and very helpful woman, she assisted us with any queries and even gave us some watermelon while we waited for our driver. If you want to visit any of the popular tourist spots in the Zhangye area she can organise a car tour for you and very reasonable prices- all very easy through WeChat. I visited the rainbow mountains/Zhangye National Geopark/Zhangye Danxia Geopark (张掖国家地质公园) and Mati Si temple (马蹄寺) while in Zhangye. The hostel is in a very good location too. The common area is nice and there is a tea station where you can help yourself to a cup of tea. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

The place was quite ok for it's price. Host was very hospitable, even I arrived late.

This is my third stay here. It's very convenient, very close to the train station, and the environment is great. The owner is very welcoming, and the house is cleaned daily. It's so much better than the hotels I stayed in for over 100 yuan that were in terrible condition.

The hostel has an excellent location, just a short walk to a large commercial area, right next to the subway, making transportation and shopping very convenient. There's a lively pub downstairs that gets busy at night. The owner is warm and thoughtful. It was a great travel experience.
