DdomonnnThe location is near the subway, right at the last exit. If you're taking the train, it's a bit of a walk as it's on the other side, but still considered convenient. It's not scary for women walking alone at night, which is important. For the room, I booked a single room and it was very spacious and clean, with a wardrobe, table, and chair, plus a private bathroom. I think it was great value for money! There's an elevator, but it's quite small; one person with luggage fills it up. The front desk is 24 hours. Towels need to be rented, and there's a hairdryer. I liked it.
The downside is that at night there's a very loud door-slamming sound. I'm not sure where it's coming from, it sounds like the wind blowing a door shut, and it happens many times a day. Other than that, everything was fine.

GGuest UserJust 3 blocks from the metro station and right in the heart of Nuremberg's historic center. Don’t even think twice—the rooms are huge, quiet, and cozy. The level of cleanliness is outstanding; all the facilities are spotless, beautiful, and everything works perfectly. I highly recommend booking with breakfast included—it’s very affordable.

GGuest UserThe hostel was clean and tidy. There was a limited number of powerpoints though which meant that it was hard to charge phones and other items. There was also no curtains on the bunks which meant there was very little privacy.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all my questions patiently despite my limited English – five-star service for that! The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to both the subway and train stations. The room itself was quite spacious, with a desk and a fan over the bed. I was very satisfied with my stay overall!

GGuest UserThe cleanliness was quite good, and the room felt like it had central air conditioning. Although you couldn't adjust the temperature yourself, it was generally more comfortable than the HBF branch where you could only rely on opening windows for ventilation. The staff here were friendly, although I felt more enthusiastic at the HBF branch. I stayed in a female quadruple room during the World Cup. There are many bars nearby or downstairs in the hostel, and you could often hear cheers during the matches. If you wanted to go to sleep, you had to close the windows for some quiet. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

RRobinsonMichaelAuthentic and rustic on the outside, my room had been refurbished with up to date bathroom fixtures and shower, flooring, paint and furniture. Able to sleep 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small kids. The Gruner Hof is a short walk across the Isar to Freising's old town and monastery (must see). Lots of options for public transportation; bus, train, taxi.
Quaintness factors: 2nd story rooms have the sloping roof and ceiling. I'm tall. Took me a week to stop bumping into it. Across the street is a church/school with a bell tower that chimes the time from 7am to 10pm; you'll always know the time but doesn't bother at night. Good sidewalks everywhere.

GGuest UserUnbeatable value for money. The facilities were exceptionally clean and well-organized. Located just one block from the Central Station, and three blocks from Wulfsburg’s historic center. Please note: You must arrive before 10:00 PM, as there is no one available for check-in after that time.

GGuest Userit is a popular place as it has a very convenient location near train station. A good choice for a short one night stay. The infrastruture can be better, but is also enough if you have need to cook something. It has a restaurant to use and a coffee mashine.

GGuest UserUpon arrival no one answered the door on either side of the street. We had no way to call the number posted. Fortunately kind guests helped to call as they were coming out the door and directed us to our room. No contact with hosts until breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was excellent.

RRaaaaaiI used the dormitory on a solo trip. It is secure and I think that even women can use it with peace of mind. The location is good, so I will use it again when I go to Munich. I went to Neuschwanstein Castle from Munich Central Station, but it was convenient because it was close to ､ station.
