I have stayed in many hostels before but at TOC it was the first time I stayed in a shared room ( female only). I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect but it turned out great. The hostel is awesome, has friendly staff and is the most modern hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were quite nicely soundproofed as you couldn't hear much from the hallways as it is usual for other hostels. In my 6 bed female room, we had 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 showers - it was enough. :) I will be coming back, definitely!

Sem dúvidas o melhor hostel em Madri. Vamos lá… O staff é INCRÍVEL, todos são muito gentis e fazem de tudo para você se sentir muito bem recepcionado. São quase concierges, este é o nível do atendimento! Eu fiquei muito feliz com a receptividade e amabilidade deles. Os espaços estavam limpos, todos os dias uma equipe de limpeza faz uma boa “faxina”. Eu sugiro apenas que o staff revise mais vezes ao dia se os quartos tem um cheiro agradável e se está limpo! Se o banheiro está limpo e seco e se tem papel higiênico. Eu não vi ninguém acompanhando esse processo após a equipe ir embora e senti falta as vezes. A cama é MUITO confortável, travesseiro macio, cobertor quentinho e grosso, são roupas de cama de qualidade. Tem cortina que lhe dá privacidade, isso faz MUITA diferença… Na cama também tem tomada, luz individual e uma prateleira para colocar umas coisas para se ter fácil acesso. Embaixo da cama tem um locker INCRÍVEL que é acessado pela a chave do quarto. Cabe uma pessoa lá dentro de tão espaçoso… O quarto feminino de oito camas não é muito espaçoso mas perfeito para dormir e trocar de roupa. O banheiro do quarto, ao tomar banho, molha tudo e é preciso enxugar com uma espécie de rodo. Tem quem o faço, tem quem não… Sugiro fazer uma obra de melhoria ai para um melhor conforto do hóspede. Ainda falando do hostel, o espaço em comum é muito fofo. Você pode fazer amigos… Tem alguns jogos, programações diárias, bebidas para vender… Porém não é um hostel super animado por si só, vai depender da galera que estiver por lá pra “fazer a festa” kkkk. Só deixo uma dica para os dias de inverno; estava muito quente o hostel, fiquem atentos á temperatura dos ambientes! As instalações estão muito novas, tudo muito moderno, colorido, jovial. A localização é IMPECÁVEL, perto de praticamente TODOS os pontos turísticos, ponto de ônibus, estação de metrô. Tem vários restaurantes próximos, mercado e o que mais amei, o palácio real como vizinho, quase um sonho de princesa kkkkk. Eu tenho muita gratidão por ter passado esses dias tão bem instalada, com essa galera massa. Me senti muito segura e acolhida! Obrigada Petit Hostel ❤️

In fact, we decided to cancel our Booking reservation, because. even paying the extra amount due to a reservation with no charge cancelation: 1. Just received a message (*1) stating that my Credit Card was going to be debited for ”one night stay” ; this today, April, for a reservation in November ; reason invoked: they have to assure that the client will pay., and this through Booking.... 2. Answered, imediatly, that I dont authorize any debits on my Credit Card ; received a message with a printscreen saying that they were intitled to do it: NOT TRUE To make it short, after being in 42 countries, 3 continents, more than 400 cities, and I lost count in how many Hotels I ve been..., I m simply astonished how an Hotel in Spain, allows itself these pratices....; Besides violating the rules of Booking (I guaranteed a payment of refundable with an extra fee, with my Credit Card)they lyie about being entitled of doing it (the printscreen doesnt match my reservation) I´m Economist, so, I do understand that these procedures are, a cheap way (% interest..) to finance themselves with customer´s money ; What I really dont understand is how Booking allows it...... I had a fantastic time at Petit Hostel La Latina. The hostel was spotless and the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The location was perfect - quiet but still close to all the action in the city center. I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay. I can't wait to come back!

My friend invited to a short trip and found this hostel for us. He was here some years ago and I was really happy with the choice. Bed was really comfortable and even in a room with 7 more people I could have a good night of sleep.

Everything was just average for me. Staff were nice, everything was clean and wifi was good. But just no social aspect, 30 people all in one big room with someone always making noise. Black walls everywhere are so bland and depressing, they should add some colour to brighten the place up.

A very comfy sleep in the centre of Madrid-Good mattress and chair to work This hotel is only one star, but the quality is medium/high. I booked a double bed and a private bathroom; the price is around 100 euros, which I think is expensive, but it may be the usual price in Madrid for one star hotels. The location is convenient for Line 1, the blue line and stop ”Estrecho”; L1 stops at Atocha, the high/speed station. The ride is approximately 30 minutes. The personnel are very kind and helpful. I was able to check in early since I needed to work. The room is small, but the bed has a nice size. It is very clean. However, it is difficult to keep up the highest standards since the floor is white and there were some hairs on the floor. I had a very good sleep; The quality of the mattress is excellent, and people are respectful and quiet, even though there are some common areas for guests who share bedrooms or other amenities. The chair in the bedroom is very comfy to work on. I managed to work for eight hours. All the furniture is of high standards, overall. There is complimentary tea and decaf coffee the whole day round. On the bad side, the breakfast was not great. The quality of the products is not good, for example, bread, jam (low-calories), pastries, or juices, which are not fruit natural juices. There are not too many options. The breakfast should start earlier than 8 am, above all for guests who are on business. I do not think guests should wash their dishes, but rinse them and allocate them in the dishwasher since they are using the same sponge, and after COVID-19, this practice should be avoided for further illnesses. The coffee machine provides coffee but is not of such good quality. It does not come hot enough. The quality of the towels is not good. They are old and do not dry properly. I think it is essential to have recycling bins, in particular, since guests are booking to sleep and they cook and prepare their food. The coffee machine does not allow you to reuse your glass, which is a shame as per providing a new glass with a plastic spoon every time you want a coffee. I tried to press the option ”no glass”, but it will not work. It seems that everything goes in the same bin. The shower has low pressure and two taps. It is not easy to reach quick and warm water. The head is not mobile, so girls bring your shower cap. The quality of the shower gel is nice. Very fashionable!!

Apart from receptionist everything were good for the price except the mattress. Shampoo and shower gel were given and they charge 5€ for a towel if you need one. A shared kitchen and fridge is available for the service user but I never use them.

I booked a bunk bed in 4-dorm for girls and private bathroom. The bathroom is good with hot showers. Good bed overall with electric socket at bed. Bunk-bed has a curtain for privacy which is nice but would be better if it was full lenght (only until knees). No lockers and no towels (they are rented for 3€) They offer a breakfast for 6€ (didnt get it but its a buffet style and looks pretty complete for the price). Just stayed for the night so couldnt see much, but for what I saw the offer some ammenities and looks pretty good. Also near stations and plaza mayor is just 4min walking

The hostel had a great location! There were lots of great restaurants near by and the night life was fun. They don’t provide any soap or shampoo in the shower. The rooms are small and a tight fit with 3 bunk beds. Nothing fresh for breakfast. I guess you get what you paid for.

Acogedor, limpio, al lado de la plaza del Ayuntamiento por lo que está céntrico. Hay bares, tiendas, bancos cerca. El mercadona, Alcampo lídel a poca distancia. Muy cuidado y limpio. Con aire acondicionado y nevera en la habitación. Ha sido un acierto y está cerca de la Warner que es donde íbamos.
