Aarshyb1I wouldn’t say this place is exactly family friendly. It looked a little scary, but in the end, we just needed a place to stay that was on the cheaper side. It’s definitely not worth the price. Check in was easy. There’s free parking for guests (if you can find parking), but the rooms were basic. I booked a king size bedroom, but we got 2 double beds. It could be because we arrived late and they gave our room away. The place was pretty full.
It is really convenient if you are travelling from Newark Liberty Hotel because it’a only 5 minutes away. You can take the metro into the city or drive (the drive is about 40 mins into New York City). They are also pet friendly. Room service doesn’t seem to be available while the stay. I guess if you are staying long term you can ask for towel replacement and whatever else.
There wasn’t a hot tub like the pictures showed, but the bathroom does have a tub. They provide towels and soap, so bring your own things including a hair dryer if needed!

BBrian from PhoenixSea Palace was a pleasant surprise. Nice, spacious room with 2 queen beds, dresser, 2 night stands, flat screen on wall above dresser (plenty of channels), mini fridge and microwave. Sink/vanity area was decent with plenty of room, granite surface. Bathroom was nice too, tub/shower enclosure seemed new and was pristine - even had the bowed out curtain rod for a roomy shower. No closet but a rod with hangers across from the sink - which was adequate. I loved the 5 minute walk to the boardwalk & beach, and convenience store/deli across the street. Primarily, the place was very clean. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

Efficiency unit needs to be stocked with proper dishes and cutlery and linens, toaster, coffee machine etc. thank goodness we brought our own coffee maker.
Pool was very nice. Umbrellas need replacement
2 propane bbqs did not work well at all. Took forever to cook something and it was still undercooked.
We have been told that renovations are happening this winter. The bathroom needs major renovation as the pieces are very old and leak. The mattresses are hard as rock.
We loved the location and the staff were very nice. We will see what the renovations look like as we would like to go back there again.

GGuest UserNeed to do better with cleaning towels, and wash cloths, besides that everything else was alright. Also needs to improve on bedding, the sheets at the bottom of the mattress are always dirty every time I come here. Housekeeping needs to do better job, that is very unsanitary

GGuest UserThe Service was great, I had already booked on Trip.com so all I really needed to do was show my ID took about 5-10 if that to get moving. The room and the bathroom were clean, clean towels and wash cloths (I always use my own anyway) nothing was stained or burned like other places. I could hear another guest talking through the wall but once my own conversations started it wasn't a problem. Tv worked, heat/ air efficiently. Fridge and microwave were in the room. Nice room, clean place, decently priced. I'll probably use this facility again in the future.

AAnonymous UserThe young lady that works evenings is wonderful! She is very nice and very attentive. The gentlemen that work here are nice as well. The breakfast is not great at all. It’s four mini muffins in a greasy bag, given by the attendant behind the desk. The apple juice is so concentrated, you have to water it down yourself because they do not. You can see that they just wallpapered over the previous moldy wallpaper and the air conditioner is practically falling off the wall. But no bugs and pretty clean for the most part.

TT PleasantThe staff was accommodating while staying here. Needed to switch rooms due to the room nott being clean and they switched rooms immediately and that was much appreciated.

GGuest UserThis location is great for business travelers who are in need of basic accommodations at a great price! The lobby is kept clean and inviting, the staff is highly professional, the morning clerk Elizabeth is always smiling and ready to assist in any way she can and the location is hands down ultra convenient! Rooms are exactly as pictured, well stocked and safe. I have no complaints.

GGuest UserThe motel was absolutely perfect for what we needed/wanted for our brief visit to Asbury Park Beach. Pet friendly, friendly staff, quiet and clean, it had the best price around and an amazing location, less than 10 minutes to the beach. We visited off season so everything was pretty quiet, but I would definitely stay there again any time.
