Hotel Hot Springs di Hainan, China

Saya memilih untuk menempah hotel ini kerana perkhidmatan Jin Ge yang sangat baik. Saya juga sedang melalui Pulau Haihua, jadi saya ingin tahu untuk melihat bilik-bilik hotel bebas terbesar di China ini. Setibanya saya di lobi, pemuda tegap ini menyapa saya setelah mengetahui saya ingin melihat bilik, dia dengan mesra mengajak saya ke bilik. Sejujurnya, bilik itu tidak besar, saya agak kecewa apabila saya memasuki pintu, dan pemandangan laut tidak betul. Tetapi lelaki muda ini masih memperkenalkan Pulau Haihua kepada kami dengan sangat bersemangat, secara terperinci, dan dengan senyuman sepanjang masa. Selepas mengetahui bahawa saya tidak berpuas hati dengan bilik itu, dia dengan bersemangat mengesyorkan pilihan lain yang berdekatan kepada saya. Saya sangat kagum dengan sikap perkhidmatannya sehingga saya tinggal sementara di Pulau Haihua selama sehari. Pengalaman sebenar sangat bagus Anda boleh melawat Pulau Haihua di Aubao dengan mudah. ​​Saya akan mengesyorkannya kepada rakan-rakan saya pada masa hadapan.

Hotel was good value for money and located around lots of malls and cafes which was great. Maybe a little outdated and not as clean as I would have hoped but it was a nice stay nevertheless. Highly recommend the breakfast if getting there early too!

Let me first say, hotels are always looking for a good review, but I will only give a good review if I honestly feel they deserve it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Qixian~ the resort grounds are absolutely stunning. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised to discover that the resort has been thoughtfully designed to feel part of the rainforest. Everywhere you look there are giant boulders, gurgling clear streams, ancient trees and hidden trails that make you feel you are walking deep in a forest. All you hear are the birds and the water rushing in the streams! We have travelled all over China, and this is the quietest, most authentic feeling nature spot we have ever experienced. In addition, there are so many hot springs you can choose to relax in, or you can use the hot spring attached to your balcony! The restaurant has a good variety and we liked everything we ordered, it was fresh and flavorful, we tried the pork ribs and braised tofu, both delicious, but the green coconut filled buns were a perfect ending! The lobby staff was friendly and helpful, and gave us all kinds of upgrades! You can get pickup on the carts anytime, but we preferred to walk and enjoy the beauty, the resort grounds feel huge, but honestly its well designed so you can reach any spot in 5-10 minutes. Also, they have all kinds of activities you can join. We really enjoyed the rainforest walk, the lady from the Li family that conducted the walk was so lovely, we could tell she really had a connection to the forest and just radiated joy as she showed us all the plants, it was one of the highlights of our stay! Our room was clean, the sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. The view onto the palm forest was so relaxing to look at as we soaked in the spring. The infinity pool was spectacular, the setting is gorgeous and peaceful. The coconuts and dessert we ordered were really good, however, the drinks we ordered were awful and maybe they can get some more outgoing staff to work at the pool bar, maybe because it was winter time and less people are at the pool? Breakfast is served in a building that overlooks the river, there is ALL kinds of food, if you are a Westerner you can find fried eggs, toast, and pastries. But I recommend going to the area where fresh rice noodle is made for you on the spot, add toppings and fried eggs, it was delicious! There are some rustic areas to the resort- it feels a bit abandoned in areas, like its just too big to keep up with ie. Giant empty pools, some of the buildings look in desperate need of refurbishing, but overall we felt like the resort was truly beautiful and amenities really made this a great value for the price we paid. We are already planning to come back when we need a break from the city!

We chose Sheraton Haikou due to the great reviews, especially from helpful staff, close to the beach, and activities for children. Our stay was for 1 week. Disappointments: 1) Absence and failed service of front desk staff 2) No help with luggage (really needed it) 3) Room cleaning could have been better. 4) Communication, there was almost never English staff available. Additionally, no one once checked in on us. Maybe I’m being petty but if guests stay long you’d wanna check if they need anything or just if they’re okay. At checkout, they looked more annoyed and just wanted to get rid of me. I asked about my Marriott membership & the lady was dismissive. 5) Poorly winter holiday program for kids. Different from the advertised program on trip.com. 6) Checkout was delayed because they couldn’t find my booking. Very weird. Eventually they spoke to someone who helped me and found the booking. How is this possible considering that I’ve been there for a week? Great things: 1) location: it’s right on the beach, not far from airport and other places to explore 2. Location: it was very calm and relaxing, which is why we chose Haikou as opposed to Sanya. No heavy crowds, except when going to touristy places can expect some crowd but still manageable 3. Free photoshoot was fun and good way to create memories 4. Hot pool was a good way to make up for being in a pool, we loved it 5. Western restaurant was fine, had some good options. 6. Little play center for kids 7. Large grounds for kids to run around and to enjoy outdoors. 8. Accommodating: we were assigned a room on the 5th floor but on arrival it had a strong mould odour from the moment you exit the elevator. Was so bad when I entered the room, I instantly got a headache. All rooms have no windows, only a balcony door but be aware of bugs and spiders. We immediately got moved to a room on the 4th floor, less odour and no smell in the room. 9) Entertainment: live music at night Would I go again? Yes, especially since I know what to expect. Or try another hotel in the same area. Overall, we were happy to be by the seaside and explore places in Haikou.

This 4 star-ish hotel resort features quite a big pool area with 3 different depth levels as well as some hot spring baths. The sandy public beach is across the road and it was ok for a swim. It is in a relatively remote location with nothing much in terms of shops and restaurants in the hotel vicinity so you ll depend on hotel food(meh) and deliveries. The room had a really bad humid smell and we had to run the dehumidifer non stop to make it bearable. I know Hainan is tropical, but we stayed in many other hotels and this one had it worst making me conclude the smell was due to room not being used/vented for a long time. The worst thing however, by far, was the pool safety megaphone. Basically there was a loud speaker (picture 3) in the middle repeating about safety in 30 second intervals from morning till evening even when nobody was near the pools. Loud enough to be heard from room balconies. Why,anyonye sane would install such an annoyance is beyond me. Breakfast was adequate and reception(Ivy) spoke decent English.

I liked the arrangement of the buildings with the pool at the center but that also meant that there was a lot of noise coming from the courtyard. The location is not the best, quite far from the beach but the taxis are really cheap so getting anywhere is not a problem. But the surrounding area seems abandoned. The public beach is very crowded and not very nice but you can take a taxi to the Hilton and make your way through their gardens to the beach, here it is not very crowded and the water is beautiful. We got an upgrade so the room was very big with a nice and big balcony. Breakfast was a bit weird, because there were continental options but even the sausages were sweet. All in all a nice place.

Hotel facilities were overall great, their breakfast was better than their other meals. Overall hotel is not bad. The only issue is the hotel is on this island that does not allow blue plate cars (gas car) to go into the island. We had to park outside of the island and take a shuttle which was a bit annoying bringing our luggages and also going to our rental car.

My family of 4 members stayed for 2 nights in this hotel before we flew back home. It's location is alright for 35 mins to the Haikou International Airport. There is a hot spring at the swimming pool area and it closes late at night which is good . We can use the hot spring to relax after a day of activities out. However the only thing is the rooms given to us is not up to Marriott's standard. Our rooms, connecting 2 rooms, look a bit old , especially the flooring, the wall tiles in the bathrooms. They need some refurbishments. The bathroom of room 0916 has the problem of water flooding while showering. I think the water flowing out is very , very slow until it floods .This is quite annoying. Although we have informed the staff about this , nothing much have been done. It still flooded when we showered on the next day. Other than this, everything is ok.

This was by far the best stay I’ve ever had in Haikou. First, the staff were absolutely amazing. I messaged the day before to ask if there was a cake shop nearby, since it was my wife’s birthday. When we arrived at the hotel, they not only provided a cake for us free of charge, but also upgraded our room to a top-floor sea view room—completely complimentary. The room itself was spotless and beautiful. The swimming pool was a short walk from the hotel, but very nice, and the hot springs and fish spa were truly relaxing. We also tried the buffet for just 198 RMB per person, and it was well worth it. The food was excellent—the sashimi was fresh, beer and wine were included, and the variety was broad. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Haikou.

I spent a few nights here. Before and after the arrival of typhoon Yagi in 2024. I must commend the staff's tireless effort and calmness. Before the arrival of the storm they did their best to prep us, advised us on what to do etc. After the storm, they quickly worked on the restoration. While there were alot of inconvenience I was more amazed how they really tried to accommodate to our demand and continued to work after the typhoon ( as if they don't have worries back home). I salute them all. Thanks for the care and warmth they showed.
