We were there for San Fermin. The owner/management of this hotel has gone above and beyond in making sure our experience was excellent. We had two rooms. Upon checking in they had a small souvenir gift for each of us which was much appreciated. They had a continental breakfast that opened at 5am to those of us attending the festival along with the normal buffet breakfast for those not attending. There was a bus to drive anyone wanting to go at 6:15am for a very nominal fee. I have been going to Pamplona for dozens of years and this was my first time to stay here. I couldn't have been happier. No other hotel is as thoughtful and generous as the Holiday Inn Express. We will be back.

Solid European property a block away from the Plaza de Toros and just a few minuts walking to all of the festival happenings but this is also at the easternish-end of the festival area so you can escape for a bit by just walking away from this property. We had a room overlooking the area leading to the Plaza de Toros and I can confirm that the festival is 24-7! Party noise outside at all hours of the night but you will get this anywhere in striking distance of the festival area so this is not on the hotel. The hotel itself is standard clean, pleasant and the rooms are a good size for Europe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This place has a small fitness room, which I always appreciate. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent quiet hotel. Large bathroom. Big closet. The windows opened so you could get fresh air. Nice bed. Very comfortable. Great cafeteria/snack bar adjacent to the lobby. Bus stop was right outside the door. Plenty of dining options nearby. There was even a easy coin laundry a block away. Wonderful area, would highly recommend. A bit of a walk to the old town and bull run, but only 30 minutes walk.

El hotel totalmente renovado tiene muy amplias habitaciones, con buen nivel de confort y decoración. Su ubicación es perfecta, de facil acceso, en un entorno que asegura el descanso, y permite visitar a pie todo el casco viejo. Una muy buena elección.

I wasn't disappointed in any way for choosing to stay at the Villava Hotel in fact it exceeded expectations . The room , restaurant , coffee shop and lounge all scored top marks . The buffet breakfast was excellent , and there was a lot of choice to suit everyone's tastes . All the staff deserve a mention for their friendly hospitality . Thank you .

What can be said more? 5 stars and worth every penny. Great location, great service and attention to details like beds prepared for the night including a bottle of water on the side table; valet parking; perfect location. Ask to see the Hemmingway room or even book it when you want to experience some history. Will definitely come back to La Perla when coming back to Pamplona.

Nos hemos hospedado durante cuatro noches en este hotel. Lo primero que tenemos que destacar es la ubicación ya que está en la afueras de la ciudad, algo que agradecimos puesto que queriamos visitar varios pueblecitos de los alrededores. Otra cosa muy importante es que tiene parking gratuíto y la zona es muy tranquila. En el interior es un hotel que está relativamente nuevo, las habitaciones son amplias tanto la parte del descanso como el baño. Como dijimos con anterioridad reina el descanso y el silencio. El único pero que tenemos que poner es que la cama no era muy cómoda, ya que se clavaban unos hierros en los costados lo que hacía un poco complicado descansar comodamente, dedujimos que sería una cosa puntual de esta habitación que necesita un cambio de colchón, pero sin duda la experiencia fue buena salvo esta pequeña salvedad. Sin duda es un hotel muy recomendable si se desea mover el coche, sin embargo si la intención es estar solamente en Pamplona es mejor buscar otra opción puesto que los parking del centro son caros y la distancia no permite ir sin coche desde el hotel.

Viajamos 2 adultos y 1 niño. La habitación MUY PEQUEÑA para 3 personas. Las camas eran cómodas y las sábanas blancas muy limpias. Al llegar tuvimos que matar 3 moscas dentro de la habitación que con el calor que hacía no fue complicado... En el baño nos dejaron una pastilla de jabón para los 3 y 3 vasos de cartón de ”café para llevar”. Por la tarde noche tomamos un café en la cafetería y tuve que pedir que me lo calentaran. El hotel está bien para ir de paso y solo dormir pero para nada más y por supuesto no lo veo apto para viajar con un niño pequeño. No repetiría mi estancia allí.

I stayed in a double room in the albergue side of the establishment and I'm quite satisfied. Room 403 was perfect for my needs and boasted its own bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable and the wifi worked well, even in the basement. The albergue is directly on the Camino and within walking distance of the supermarket. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but the bar offers inexpensive food and drink. A perfect place to stay for pilgrims!
