The lady at the front desk at check in was very nice and friendly. I had to print something before we checked in and she had me email it to her and she printed it behind the desk for me. Very nice lady. The women who runs the kitchen and breakfast, Sherry, is one of the best people I’ve ever met at her job. An absolute ANGEL. Great energy, very helpful and nice and clearly takes great pride in her job. We’ve only been here one day and it’s been a fantastic experience so far. I never write reviews but the staff here has been incredible. Hotel room is nice and clean too. Nice area.

A very nice and large room with a separate sitting area with mini fridge, microwave and dining table. Bathroom tub was super large and very nice. The bed linens are top quality and very comfortable.

The Holiday Inn Express Gulf Shores is conveniently located 1.5 miles from the beautiful pristine sugar white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico! We are also only 2 miles from the Gulf Shores Sports Complex and 3 miles from the Orange Beach Sports Complex.We are within a short drive of all the main attractions in the area including OWA Amusement Park and Entertainment destination, Waterville USA, Tanger Outlet Center, Gulf Shores Zoo, Lambert's Cafe, The Track, Adventure Island, Gulf State Park, The Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, Fort Morgan and The Wharf. But if you don't feel like going very far, we've got you covered with a complimentary breakfast served each morning. After breakfast, feel free to indulge in our pool and complimentary fitness center! We also offer complimentary WiFi and free on site parking.

Carpet was difficult to roll on using a wheel chair. Disability accessible rooms should be on the first floor for emergency access reasons. Room doorway was too narrow for large wheelchair to pass through without assistance. However, breakfast area was very comfortable and hotel atmosphere was clean and inviting.
