The hotel is conveniently located. The staff were friendly and the service was exceptional. The room was clean and we were able to rest well. We also liked the anesthetic of the lobby and the services offered by the hotel!

Plus, it's super easy to get here by subway — we even talked about making this our regular place to stay in the future. Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. This location was ideal for my short layover. Conveniently located adjacent to Beijing Capital International Airport, it offers virtually every amenity you could imagine. The value is also excellent considering what you save by taking advantage of the complimentary airport shuttle service. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality. I ordered room service, and the food arrived hot, delicious, reasonably priced, and surprisingly high quality. Breakfast was another highlight—I highly recommend adding it to your stay, whether you dine in the restaurant or enjoy it from the comfort of your room. I especially want to recognize Deane at the guest services desk. Exceptional customer service is becoming increasingly rare, and Deane reminded me what genuine hospitality looks like. When I needed a little extra time before checking out, he patiently listened to my request, helped me work through my admittedly imperfect Chinese, and went above and beyond by arranging a special accommodation that allowed me to remain in my room beyond the standard checkout time. At no point did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Instead, I felt genuinely welcomed as a guest. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help transformed what could have been a stressful travel day into a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Employees like Deane are a tremendous asset to any hotel, and he deserves recognition for the positive impression he leaves on guests. This personalized level of customer care is exactly why I would recommend this hotel to anyone flying into or out of Beijing, and why I will absolutely stay here again. My stay at the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was world-class—every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The attention to detail is unmatched, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The location is perfect, and the facilities are pristine, but it is the genuine warmth and professional service that set this hotel apart. If you are looking for luxury paired with heart-felt hospitality in Beijing, this is it. An absolutely flawless five-star experience!

I had an incredible weekend at Club Med Joyview Beijing Yanqing! It was the perfect family escape, offering a fantastic blend of fun and relaxation. The location was ideal, being just a scenic 1.5-hour drive from downtown Beijing. The resort had something for everyone: the kids adored the massive indoor water park and the huge sports hall, while the amazing G.O. team kept everyone entertained with nightly shows and lively parties. We enjoyed the delicious buffet food and even visited the resort's own Cloud Winery for a unique experience. What made it truly special was the hassle-free, joyful atmosphere that allowed both kids and adults to have a great time. It was a refreshing and recharging getaway that I highly recommend.

Grand Millenium Beijing is located in the CBD with the big “pants” building near the hotel. The hotel looks dated but the room is spacious and well maintained. Lots of food options within walking distance and a subway station just mins from the hotel.
