The hotel is conveniently located. The staff were friendly and the service was exceptional. The room was clean and we were able to rest well. We also liked the anesthetic of the lobby and the services offered by the hotel!

Facilities: The room facilities are very convenient, fully smart, and it was really comfortable to stay in. Plus, it's super easy to get here by subway — we even talked about making this our regular place to stay in the future. Hygiene: The room is just the right size and very clean. 👍 Environment: Green-themed, fresh, and cozy. Service: The service is very thoughtful. We arrived quite late last night, and they called to ask what time we'd be checking in, and even upgraded our room in advance. Nice! 👍

This was our first family trip to Beijing, and we stayed at the Wanda Vista Hotel for two days 14,15 of Jan. The hotel has two entrances, which can be a little confusing at first. This may be due to the nearby construction, but it was still easy to find our way around. The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is very close to the SKP shopping mall. We enjoyed walking around the area and admiring the surrounding skyscrapers. The hotel room was very clean; however, the sound insulation could be improved. At checkout 16/Jan, we spoke with Miss Young at the reception. She listened carefully to our feedback and made us feel valued and respected. Her professional and thoughtful service left us with a very pleasant impression and gave our holiday a happy ending.

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. It was clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are a top priority here, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and excellent service throughout our visit. Very good hotel and staff! The room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. My room also had an incredible view of the lake. Bathroom was perfect and clean. I don’t speak Chinese but most staff speaks good English and are also very helpful. Their front desk staff, Terra, is nice and made sure I got everything I needed. Room service food was also good and their breakfast buffet was okay, with a varied and selection of both Continental and Asian breakfasts. The gym had all sorts of equipment and they even had a reformer pilates studio! This hotel is worth it

Nice well designed property, however, the service was not what is expected from an MO property. The members of staff did not seem like they had adequate training and were often unsure at simple requests. Furthermore, things such emptying the bin during the house keeping service were over looked. Breakfast was also not up to standard. In addition, there was also confusion regarding ticket bookings for Tiananmen Square.

Booked here for my birthday as a treat, after an evening at Universal and ready for a full day the next day. At almost 900rmb for one (Friday) night, this is far more than we are used to paying for a hotel in China, but still a fair bit cheaper than the official park hotels – a good balance for a birthday treat without breaking the bank. The hotel is located directly next to Qufang station, 3 stops from the park on Line 7, so can be reached in no time at all. There isn't a whole lot around the hotel, but I doubt many are coming here without the intention to visit Universal. And for those who aren't heading to the park, you can still access the Citywalk without a ticket if you want some food or entertainment nearby. The hotel itself felt fairly grand and well designed, as one would expect from Crowne Plaza. I'm sure the grounds will look even better in summer. The highlight is the cocktail bar on the top floor, which provides excellent views of the park and Citywalk. I was pleased they allowed us to get a better view of this outside even in mid winter: it will be a great place to sit and take an evening drink when the weather is warmer! Breakfast was also something that stood out. As expected for its price, but still a treat – I especially liked the local touches like lvdagun. The staff who we spoke to both at the counter and in the dining room were lovely, though check in did take a little while, as did picking up our bags later on. During both, though, there were quite a lot of people to process. On a quieter day this likely wont be an issue. The one downside, and I'm not even sure this is on the hotel but it did impact our stay, was a fairly foul smell throughout. I hope this is temporary, but all evening and the next morning there was a stench of sewage or stagnant water every now and then. At some times quite strong. This coupled with our room being a little stuffy was not ideal given, again, this hotel is not cheap. I hope this is fixed soon!

Club Med Yanqing is a marvelous getaway if you are looking for an out of city trip with great amenities, all inclusive food and drinks packages, very comfortable rooms and excellent service. Emily is an amazing member of staff that looked after us in several ways and made our stay extra special. Wilber is a fantastic manager of recreation and ensures everyone has an awesome time at the events held at Club Med. With a myriad of activities, food and drinks offerings, superb rooms, you feel relaxed and taken care of. Book your next trip here!

The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with comfortable bedding and stunning views of the city. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding, especially the breakfast selection, which offered a wide variety of delicious local and international dishes. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore Beijing’s major attractions while still enjoying a peaceful and luxurious environment.
