The hotel is conveniently located. The staff were friendly and the service was exceptional. The room was clean and we were able to rest well. We also liked the anesthetic of the lobby and the services offered by the hotel!

The room was relatively small, making it challenging to manage our luggage. In terms of transportation, there are two subway stations in the area—the closer one is a 15-minute walk, while the other takes about 19 minutes on foot. Despite this, the staff were very welcoming and responsive to our needs, and they kindly offered yogurt and fruits when we checked in.

This was our first family trip to Beijing, and we stayed at the Wanda Vista Hotel for two days 14,15 of Jan. The hotel has two entrances, which can be a little confusing at first. This may be due to the nearby construction, but it was still easy to find our way around. The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is very close to the SKP shopping mall. We enjoyed walking around the area and admiring the surrounding skyscrapers. The hotel room was very clean; however, the sound insulation could be improved. At checkout 16/Jan, we spoke with Miss Young at the reception. She listened carefully to our feedback and made us feel valued and respected. Her professional and thoughtful service left us with a very pleasant impression and gave our holiday a happy ending.

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. It was clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are a top priority here, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and excellent service throughout our visit. We had a wonderful stay at Cordis. The hotel is beautiful, elegant and spotlessly clean, with a very peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. Our room had a fantastic view, and despite being close to the airport, we were not disturbed by aircraft noise at all. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our last night in Beijing. A special thank you to Tina, who was incredibly kind and helpful and made our stay even more pleasant. We really appreciated her assistance and warm hospitality. We would definitely stay at Cordis again and highly recommend it!

Nice well designed property, however, the service was not what is expected from an MO property. The members of staff did not seem like they had adequate training and were often unsure at simple requests. Furthermore, things such emptying the bin during the house keeping service were over looked. Breakfast was also not up to standard. In addition, there was also confusion regarding ticket bookings for Tiananmen Square.

We spent two nights at this Club Med hotel with our two children. Having had a fantastic experience at another Club Med previously, we were looking forward to this stay—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel feels outdated and neglected. Our bathroom was worn down, and many facilities were either closed, broken, or simply abandoned. The indoor pool was shut, the outdoor pool looked like a ruin, and several machines in the fitness room didn’t work. Even in the indoor water park some hot baths and the sauna didn’t work. Food was average at best—both breakfast and dinner buffet lacked variety and quality. Service was underwhelming too: despite few guests, I had to fetch the high chair and children’s cutlery myself every time. One activity offered was a trolley ride from the hotel to a nearby vineyard. My wife was looking forward to a proper wine tasting or a guided tour of the estate. Instead, a woman briefly showed us two shelves of wine available for purchase—no tasting, no tour. It was disappointing, especially given how impressive and vast the vineyard itself was. On the plus side, check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. But overall, this stay was disappointing and far from the Club Med standard we had come to appreciate.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel in Beijing. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided warm, professional, and attentive service that made me feel truly welcome. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with comfortable bedding and stunning views of the city. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding, especially the breakfast selection, which offered a wide variety of delicious local and international dishes. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore Beijing’s major attractions while still enjoying a peaceful and luxurious environment. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality shown by every member of the team. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing for business or leisure. It truly delivers a five-star experience in every aspect, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.
