Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. This stay was truly wonderful, offering a beautiful minimalist design that was both exceptionally clean and comfortable. The highlight was the stunning view of Lake Erhai, which made the atmosphere so peaceful. I was also very impressed by the hospitality; the owner and staff were incredibly helpful with local advice and even assisted in ordering delicious food for me. From the great breakfast to the sincere service, everything was perfect. PS. The cat is so cuteeeee

Penginapan yang sangat selesa dengan semua kemudahan yang diperlukan. Biliknya sangat baru, luas dan bersih. Katil yang selesa. Dalam jarak berjalan kaki ke bandar purba Da Li namun tenang pada waktu malam. Lidi bbq di sebelah adalah tempat yang mesti dicuba untuk makan malam lewat malam. Kakitangannya membantu dan mesra dan mengesyorkan hotpot cendawan yang lazat berdekatan. Mereka membawa kami ke hotel bersebelahan yang dimiliki oleh bos yang sama untuk bufet sarapan pagi yang lazat. Sudah tentu 5 Bintang. Amat disyorkan! 👍

Lovely hosts. They offer pick up from the train station. They were extremely hospitable as well and gave plenty of good recommendations. the room was cozy, loved the fireplace next to the bath tub. The view, both in the morning and at night, was lovely! 20 mins car ride to the old town, but its always easy to get a cab! Highly recommend this place, the hosts rlly made the stay much more enjoyable.

We had a really great stay at Yunduan Nashe Homestay. Honestly everything was just smooth and comfortable from start to finish. The place is beautiful, clean, and the view is super nice – especially if you’re looking for a relaxing vibe.The room was well prepared, cozy, and felt very welcoming. Overall, no complaints at all. Everything was great and I would definitely stay here again if I come back. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay

The services from the front desk was superb and responsive. They genuinely serve with a warm smile and we felt welcome always. They even extended a late check-out for us to one o’clock even though the hotel was highly booked and liaised with the Executive Lounge for us to rest and relax until 2.30pm. A big shout out to Miss Sissi from the Executive Lounge who made sure we were comfortable and provided light refreshment for our enjoyment. We felt good and honoured. The room condition is new and in immaculate condition. The Erhai lake facing view from the full ceiling to floor window is trully scenic giving a sense of peace and calm especially during sunset and early morning dawn. This itself already worth all the money! Amenities provided are top notch with auto controlled curtain, master switch for lightings, smart toilet and most importantly, a very comfortable bed and pillows. Glad we have chosen Pullman Dali over other highly rated guesthouses because of its high service quality standard and amenities which are unlikely from guesthouses. Strongly recommend Pullman Dali and will stay here again!

The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view from the room. The hotel ambience feels homey and comfortable. I rarely write reviews for my trips, but this hotel truly won my heart with its welcoming service and friendly receptionists. What surprised me the most was the hotel driver, Mr. Mars, who offered to take us to Dali Railway Station free of charge. As we needed to catch our train, he did his very best to get us there as quickly as possible. What an amazing and unforgettable service! Thank you, Mr. Mars..you truly made our day with your warm and thoughtful service.

Pada waktu malam, duduk di atas katil tatami, dengar muzik, lihat Tasik Erhai mengalir perlahan, dan rasai aliran masa. Kemudahan di dalam bilik adalah sangat lengkap. Terdapat pelembap (sangat penting untuk orang selatan!) dan pembesar suara adalah dari Dyson. ! Perkhidmatan hotel juga sangat bertimbang rasa Untuk minum petang dan pencuci mulut selamat malam, butler akan bertanya dalam kumpulan jika anda memerlukannya pada waktu yang ditetapkan mereka di dalam peti sejuk supaya anda boleh memilikinya apabila anda kembali. I booked a two-night stay here and had high expectations for my vacation. However, the first thing that happened was an extremely uncomfortable check-in. Two female staff members were incredibly unfriendly; the hotel had no elevator, and there was no luggage porter. One staff member even insisted we carry our large luggage ourselves because the hotel didn't have an elevator. The free hot pot meal was only for the broth; the side dishes had to be ordered separately. We booked four rooms, but when my friend couldn't eat the spicy broth and asked for a different broth, we were charged extra. The hallway lights are turned off after 10:30 PM, so if you're returning late, you'll have to use your phone's flashlight to find your way. The photography service was also unsatisfactory. We had four rooms, but only two were photographed. I requested that the photographer let me go first and the other person take photos later after changing clothes, but the photographer was unhappy and insisted on taking photos at the same time. The photographer, in particular, did not have a friendly or open attitude, nor the manner of a professional service provider. Breakfast was delicious and suited our taste, but the staff were somewhat negligent in their service. We ordered our main course first but were served later, or they forgot to include the side dishes. On check-out day, the hotel scored points with the extremely enthusiastic assistance from a young man in a blue jacket (29/4). The staff member in the blue jacket was very professional, coordinating everything and seemingly understanding that I wasn't entirely satisfied with the hotel. He coordinated everything, from carrying our luggage from the room to the lobby to taking it to the taxi, working with the photographer, and even offering us complimentary tea as an apology and thank you for our stay. Overall, aside from the issues that affected our mood on the first day, the hotel was quite comfortable and clean, worthy of a vacation (although a bit far from the city center). If the hotel can address these shortcomings, I think this will be a wonderful experience for us. Best regards.
