Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. I honestly cannot describe how beautiful this place is. It is the very definition of romanticism and easily one of the most memorable stays of our entire trip. Nestled deep within Shuanglang Ancient Town right by the water, this small boutique inn feels like a hidden gem. The owner was incredibly kind from the moment we arrived, personally helping us carry our luggage through the village to the hotel. That level of hospitality continued throughout our stay and made us feel genuinely welcome. The setting is simply breathtaking. From the hotel, you can watch both sunrise and sunset over Erhai Lake, with the mountains, water, and ever-changing light creating a picture-perfect scene throughout the day. There is also a beautiful photography setup downstairs where guests can take stunning photos. Everywhere you look feels like a postcard. Our room had an amazing view overlooking the lake, and the hotel kindly prepared the sofa bed as an additional bed for us. The room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The bed was cozy, the water pressure was excellent, and there was always plenty of hot water. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was delicious and changed every day, which kept things interesting. The coffee was genuinely excellent, and every afternoon we were treated to a lovely tea set with fresh fruits and snacks. What makes this place truly special, however, is the atmosphere. It is a place that invites you to slow down. To sit with a cup of coffee, listen to the gentle waves, feel the cool breeze from the lake, watch the trees and flowers sway, and simply take in the scenery. It is peaceful, beautiful, and deeply restorative. As a final touch, the owner even gave us a thoughtful gift upon checkout. Small gestures like that perfectly reflect the warmth and care that define this inn. Beautiful, beautiful place. A true gem in Shuanglang. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had the chance to stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and romantic stay by Erhai Lake.

Lovely hosts. They offer pick up from the train station. They were extremely hospitable as well and gave plenty of good recommendations. the room was cozy, loved the fireplace next to the bath tub. The view, both in the morning and at night, was lovely! 20 mins car ride to the old town, but its always easy to get a cab! Highly recommend this place, the hosts rlly made the stay much more enjoyable.

We had a really great stay at Yunduan Nashe Homestay. Honestly everything was just smooth and comfortable from start to finish. The place is beautiful, clean, and the view is super nice – especially if you’re looking for a relaxing vibe.The room was well prepared, cozy, and felt very welcoming. Overall, no complaints at all. Everything was great and I would definitely stay here again if I come back. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay

Our stay at Dali Liufan Xiciao Seaview Homestay was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip to Dali. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt incredibly warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully hosted. The property itself is tucked slightly deeper into a network of charming little alleys, which might sound tricky at first, but in reality it is very manageable. Any ride-hailing service (Didi or similar) brings you right to the entrance without fuss, and once you’ve been there once, it’s very easy to locate again. One of the most convenient features is its proximity to the park connector running along Erhai Lake. If you are facing the lake from the property, simply turn right and walk straight to the end (about 15 minutes). That endpoint is where most of the e-bikes and e-cars are available for rent, which makes it the perfect starting point for exploring the lakeside. A small tip from our own experience—don’t make the mistake of heading left first, as we did, or you may end up walking quite a distance before finding rentals! The homestay itself is so comfortable and inviting that we often found ourselves reluctant to head out. It has a calming, homely atmosphere that makes simply staying in and relaxing just as enjoyable as going out to explore. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the staff. They were exceptionally helpful in every possible way—attentive, responsive, and genuinely willing to assist with even the smallest requests. It really felt like almost anything we needed, they were able to help with, which made the stay seamless and stress-free. Do note that the property does not have elevators. However, this was never an issue at all, as the staff were always ready and willing to assist with luggage whenever needed. Overall, this homestay offered a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and heartfelt hospitality. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this leg of our journey, and in many ways, the accommodation itself became one of the key reasons the Dali experience felt so memorable.

The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view from the room. The hotel ambience feels homey and comfortable. I rarely write reviews for my trips, but this hotel truly won my heart with its welcoming service and friendly receptionists. What surprised me the most was the hotel driver, Mr. Mars, who offered to take us to Dali Railway Station free of charge. As we needed to catch our train, he did his very best to get us there as quickly as possible. What an amazing and unforgettable service! Thank you, Mr. Mars..you truly made our day with your warm and thoughtful service.

從雞足山回大理，臨時選擇入住到金梭島。來大理很多次了，第一次登島，這次酒店確是最滿意的一次。房間海景無敵，躺在床上就能看海看朝霞，設施非常智能，衞生也很乾凈。性價比超高！ 海景餐廳的早餐也是小驚喜。

近古城，第二次住了，海西看洱海無敵了，躺床上都是開闊無遮擋近距離的洱海風景。但老店了，要求豪華精緻的再看看。 1.住了家洱海邊的酒店，太舒服了！一開窗簾就是洱海，沒任何遮擋，還能看到海鷗，晚上特安靜。樓頂能看日出和蒼山全景。 2.位置很方便，在龍龕碼頭和S灣中間那段，離古城很近，打車去景點都不遠。 3.房間不算大但夠用，工業風設計，洗澡都能看海景。開業幾年了，不是豪華型，但性價比挺高，衞生也乾淨。 4.店長服務真心好，到了旁邊來回接送、搬行李上樓，還幫忙規劃路線，推薦的吃飯地方都沒踩雷，有事微信找他都很快解決。 5.早餐是阿姨做的米線、雞蛋那些，簡單好吃還不限量。酒店能免費停車，進出方便。 整體很推薦，尤其適合帶家人來住。衹是不太適合追求特別精緻的，主打舒適型吧。

Honestly, this hotel isn’t like your typical 5-star hotel, but the service here really stood out to us. ❤️ From the moment we arrived, everyone treated us like family. Whenever we came back to the hotel, they would welcome us with drinks and even prepare a little night vinegar/wine for us. It’s all these small touches that made us feel so well taken care of. They really went above and beyond — there was even one time we needed help while we were outside the hotel, and they replied to us almost instantly. Before we headed out to face Dali’s crazy UV, they even prepared sunscreen for us 😂☀️ The hotel was also exceptionally clean, especially compared to many other hotels we’ve stayed at in China. But what we’ll remember most is definitely the people and how genuinely caring they were. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being looked after by family. 🥹❤️ Would definitely stay here again! 这家酒店可能不是我们住过最典型的五星级酒店，但服务真的让我们印象非常深刻。❤️ 从入住开始，酒店里的每一个人都让我们觉得特别亲切，真的有一种把客人当家人的感觉。每次从外面回来，都会有人热情地迎接我们，还会准备饮料和晚上可以喝的醋饮/小酒。虽然都是一些小细节，但真的会让人觉得很温暖。 他们的服务真的可以说是超出预期。有一次我们人在酒店外面遇到了一点事情，需要酒店帮忙，没想到他们几乎马上就回复了我们，真的很及时。 还有一个很可爱的细节，出门去迎接大理“超强紫外线”之前，他们甚至提前帮我们准备好了防晒😂☀️ 这种小小的贴心真的很加分。 另外，酒店整体也非常干净，是我们这次在中国住过的酒店里，卫生状况让我觉得特别舒服的一家。 比起豪华的硬件，这家酒店真正让我们记住的是这里的人和他们的服务。整个入住过程都让我们觉得自己不是单纯来住酒店的，而是真的有人在照顾我们。🥹❤️ 如果下次再来大理，一定还会选择这里！
