"Most of all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We emailed ahead to ask if we were able to leave our bags in a safe place as we were arriving on the morning of a wedding and before official check in. The team replied within the hour. We were able to borrow a phone charger as well. Our room was clean and tidy. The overall energy of the hotel was calm and quiet during our stay. The location was fairly central as well, it seemed. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Room on first look wasn’t as well maintained with markings on the wall. Tea, coffee and biscuit were provided but some packaging were already opened (wasn’t sure if this was an oversight but I did not need any of the items so did not matter to me) . Bed was however comfortable and toilet shower pressure was good. Location of hotel is a short walk to the beach which was convenient. Did not try the breakfast but it looked really good."

2nd time to stay here, always enjoyed it. The location is perfect, close to the pier, bars and restaurants. the Rooms are very clean. Staff are very friendly. Paul is very helpful

Stunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

JAYD OfficialI was originally allocated a signature family room on the second, room 213 but when I entered the room the beds were unmade and there were lots of dirty towels in the bathtub, this was at 16:30 and all the chambermaids had gone home ! I immediately informed the hotel staff and was allocated a smaller double room on the third floor, room 308, which had a great sea view, but was very hot and the water pressure in the bathtub and the shower was next to nothing, as it driped out slowly ! Not to mention the loud banging doors ! I had to keep the fan on all the time otherwise I could of fainted !
Be careful when booking with this hotel, but still good value for money !

Overall it's a great location and the facilities are really good, particularly the indoor pool and the gym,. The room was in serious need of a refurb (there were holes in the walls) and cramped (family room for 4) but we slept well in the beds. Not having a shaver plug in the bathroom also didn't help. We pre-paid for breakfast and found it a bit lacking. Although there was quite a bit of variety (coffee, tea, cereals, toast, bread and pastries, english breakfast items like beans, scrambled eggs, black pudding, sausage, etc.) the quality could be quite a bit better with a bit more attention/care. For example, the scrambled eggs were quite dry and tasted almost like plastic, while the black pudding was really dry. I think this could be resolved either by having rotation of the food so it's not sitting in the heaters too long, e.g. breakfast starts at 6h30 and we always went around 8h30, meaning the food there was sitting for nearly 2 hours.

Pengguna TetamuThe location is great, just a ten min walk from the beach, or a five min walk to get a ten min bus to Boscombe or Bournemouth (although these only go every half hour, seem to always be late and stop running by 6.30pm so plan carefully, or take a stress free taxi ride instead - just £6 to Boscombe).
The hotel is clean and tidy, but the reception staff I met were sullen and unhappy to help, the beds we had were awful (feel every spring, I padded it with two quilts to be able to sleep, luckily it was very hot so we didn’t need them) and unfortunately our window was broken so I couldn’t shut the noise of people entering/leaving the hotel directly below the window out. However, the man sent to try to fix the window was extremely polite and helpful, and respectful of my request to be really quiet and softly spoken around my autistic son who was trying to get to sleep. And he fixed the window.
Luckily we were only staying for one night, so despite the painful bed, I would come back for another cheap, brief stay.

Pengguna TetamuWe just wanted a reliable, welcoming, safe and CLEAN base for one night at a fantastic price and we got exactly that here at Laguna. It was no- frills, eg no fridge in room ,or edgy decor and no bonus toiletries ...but that is exactly what we didn't need! It was a basic but spotlessly clean room with all the essentials you need for a good night's stay; 2 freshly made beds, an unsuite with hot shower, towels and flannels for 2, a tv with remote, WiFi, tea making facilities and a lockable door with 24 hr security. The welcoming host was friendly and efficient and we were very confident we had chosen the perfect place for our budget. We were within walking distance of the beach and town, with a handy late night shop just a few minutes walk away. This time we didn't experience the rest of the facilities available, such as the swimming pool, games room or bar/ entertainment..but it was good to know they were an option. Thanks for making our trip an enjoyable one Laguna; we planning returning in the future.

Was ok, but to be honest the room and actually hotel were very dated. And the pool facilities in terms of changing were totally inadequate. Breakfast was ok, and thd location was decent. But having to pay extra for parking when I was a paying guest was poor.

Ashish444Reception and breakfast staff were excellent.
Our family room (Ken dodd) was very big and comfortable.
We also enjoyed the english breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.
3 star celebrity theme hotel is a little bit outdated but maintained very nicely, clean, and will definitely recommend and visit again.

I had read the reviews so I was not expecting much. All the staff appear to work really hard. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is really grubby and in much need of new carpets, redecoration and maintenance. (Sorry you maintenance guys, it might be a case of not enough hours in a day). Its NOT good enough to say ”there is only one pump” when no water comes out of the shower and then its brown for several minutes! I believe the pool is a new addition but why let the weeds grow up around it? The room was disappointing, my clothes hangers kept falling out of the holes and my clothes were then laying in the bottom of the wardrobe. I requested some hangers from reception, but no hangers existed? It was recommended that I book a table for dinner, I opted for 7pm and the steak. Forty minutes later it was still being chased up! Chatting around the pool it appears two people can stay for £80 per night but I was charged £133 with breakfast. Breakfast was buffet style and barely warm. I visited the hotels in the group and they are by far better. I will not recommend this hotel or stay again!
