Fantastic place: Beautiful hotel with everything you need or want. Lovely rooms. Massive swimming pool. Right on the beach with pier out to sea where it was perfect to watch the sunset with a cocktail. Food was great. We ate at the buffet every night and there was more than enough choice. Food not always the hottest, but tasty nonetheless. Waiting staff were mostly great, particularly Duvet(not sure of his name) who couldn't do enough for us. And the lady at the entrance to the restaurant was very nice and always met us with a smile and helped our son with his attempts at Turkish! The lobby bar was a lovely bar with friendly bar staff and a lovely setting to sit at night - outside or inside. The pool bar was also great at night and a couple of nights they had live bands who were excellent. Bar staff here at night were not all as pleasant - especially one who really couldn't make it more obvious she didn't want to be there. We had a problem with an extremely loud snorer in the room next to us and after 4 nights I'd had enough and asked if we could possibly move rooms and the reception staff helped us out by getting us another room. All in all a fantastic holiday in a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. Thank you

Just arrived back after my 3rd visit to the Xanadu, this time with my family of 10. My mother was a gold member went to the Xanadu x2 a year. It has definitely changed, no longer enjoying the free laundry facilities, room service, all extra cost? All members of the family found the beds very hard, to the fact my son in law only able to sleep on the 7th night. I really found the smell of cats unpleasant as we walked in, as the rain was a problem not the hotels fault, seeing a black cat fighting with a tabby always in the lobby, then spraying all over the furniture. I told a waitress as worried gusts might sit on it? She just showed the cat out, again I see the same black cat spray the back of the sofa on another occasion. They also walk round the restaurant, so not good if you have any allergies to cats. All staff are always amazing until our last night, a waiter was extremely rude, totally ignoring us, just gave us water, left plates on our tables even after politely asking him to remove them. I had to ask for a drink from another waitress after our meal. Very unusual as they are so hard working and can never do enough for you. When we asked him why was he being so rude he said what’s your problem? I gave you water? When you pay a lot of money I’m sure I would like more than water? We did report him, as I wouldn’t want him to reflect his manners on the other staff. She did say she would get back to us, but no reply? On the positives, the whole family had an amazing time, food is amazing. The entertainment are fabulous, when not cancelled, when the weather is good. The party on the 1st June was absolutely fabulous so much hard work had gone into it. I’m not sure we will be back to the Xanadu as we may try other hotels in the future. But still would recommend it as a very good holiday with beautiful surroundings.
