Hotel berhampiran Gainford Gardens, Berlin

Die Appartements sind wirklich sehr sauber und gepflegt und sehr neuwertig, das kann man nicht anders sagen. Wenn man ein Problem hat ist hingegen durch das Konzept ohne Rezeption kein Ansprechpartner da, genau wie beim check in, alles ziemlich umständlich und nervig, über die Telefonnummer erreicht man auch niemanden. Ich persönlich würde in Zukunft wieder Hotels mit Ansprechpartner und Rezeption bevorzugen, da ich keine Lust auf Umstände habe im Urlaub aber wie gesagt das Zimmer war richtig schön 👌🏻

The Grqnd Hyatt Berlin is my stay of choice when in Berlin. It’s Potsdamer Platz location is ideal for the main sights, connects to the airport and many terrific eateries. The room and breakfast quality are excellent and it’s small enough to give personal service.

Location: The location is the prime advantage if you wish to visit Berlin. All the attractions are easily accessible with Bus/S-Bahn/U-Bahn. So full marks for this. Breakfast: For vegeterians, was plenty to choose from. So we are happy with it. Ofcourse for non-vegeterians, maybe bit disappointing as there was no omlett/Wursts/HotDogs etc which you least expect. Staff: Overall good, except one incidence. A Guy with specs, from the kitchen area, talked rudely with us as we were taking photos of the food. He could have talked politely which is the first and utmost thing you expect in Germany. Other than him the all other staff members were good. ROOMs: The rooms were quite small because of extra Bed. We would like to mention that we were completely disappointed with the extra bed. It was big , agree, but it looked like it was a Sofa-Bed and had very large structure which took lot of room space. Exactly the way the others have complained here. The quality of the mattress was poor. The pillow quality was as well poor for this extra bed. The double bed was big enough but the qulity of the mattress can be better. Cleanliness: The room was in general clean except that certain areas needed immediate attention. For example the iron-pad had dust layers so decided not to use it at all. The toilet seat was from outside clean but the inner side was unattended and hence not clean enough. Next day the room service cleaned up the room but it was also not perfect. They only made the bedsheets. They did not bother to once clean the surface of bedsheets. Which we immediately noticed. Which is not expected from room service.

The hotel is near the Savignyplatz station, which is a good area. Another plus was that the room was very clean. However, it should not be advertised as a hotel with a gym & sauna. The “gym” was a small room with a treadmill and a cable machine, and the sauna was not working at all. I wouldn’t have booked this hotel if the right information was available.

Have stayed at a few hotels in Berlin - and this is the one I keep coming back to - location, and value for money - design and comfort and tranquillity and harmony of design - staff always very professional, helpful and most welcoming and friendly - breakfast is a wonderful indulgence. The location of Hilton Berlin is fantastic and the exterior of the hotel plus the lobby is very beautiful. Very walkable location with many surrounding dining and sightseeing options. Overall, housekeeping was good. The rooms run fairly small and look dated, so value for money is not that great. Bathroom is clean but not very well-maintained, especially the toilet. The check-in concierge staff were ok but I would expect friendlier and more proactive service for the price we were paying and being a diamond member as well. The staff who was a blonde lady with glasses checked me in and out and was the friendliest staff i encountered during my stay. Rarely did the other staff smile or greet us when we walked past them and they generally did not have great customer service skills, and generally just unfriendly. The front door concierge and door staff were much friendlier and greeted us more than the check-in staff. I also had a very terrible experience with the night security staff when my friend and I came back to the hotel around 6 am after a night out. We walked in and were stopped by a man who was not wearing any uniform, or any attire to signal he was working at the Hilton, and in regular clothes, he was a bit hard to understand because he had a thick accent, and I thought he might be another patron at the hotel or a taxi driver, so I politely smiled at him and said “no thank you” and walked towards the elevator. He got extremely angry, began shouting at me, and said he was a worker there and showed me his keys with a Hilton keychain. He wanted to verify that we had a room key. While we were taking out the key, he was calling me rude and dismissive and that I was a terrible person. It was so jarring because there was no need to be that rude, he was acting like I shooed him away when I’m reality it was a miscommunication. He then went into the back of the concierge to complain about me loudly, didn’t even wait till I was out of earshot. It was hard to identify him as a staff, much less security, and I didn’t need to be scolded like a child. Overall, very unprofessional and made the remainder of my stay feel much more sour. I can look past the dated rooms because I know that is out of the staff’s control at that point of time. But unprofessional and unfriendly staff make the value of my stay and diamond member status much worse.

This hotel lived up to my expectations. It was well located, spotless, the breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere healthy and positive. I must thank the Young lady on reception, the morning of my departure, Sunday morning, 21st May, who went to great lengths to help me get the right bus to the airport, and then the correct platform for the last bit of the journey. Her instructions were faultless. The bar, late night, was busy and the service, fast and friendly.

Area is nice and close to our favourite places. Rooms are small without fridge. Air conditioner is good enough. One night it was an alarm at 3am. Notifications was in German. People came out. None of us knew what the matter is because we don't understand German. We were confused and didn't know where the fire exit is. We were at the middle of the stairs that one of the gusts came back and said it was fire in the kitchen. It's sorted now!

Walaupun burung pipit kecil, ia mempunyai semua organ dalaman, dan susunan ruang adalah munasabah. Ia adalah sebuah hotel kecil dengan rasa reka bentuk. Ia bersih dan selesa, dan perkhidmatannya sangat baik. Selepas mendaftar keluar, bagasi boleh diletakkan di dalam bilik di tingkat satu hotel. Untuk memastikan keselamatan, kakitangan akan mengunci bilik tidak jauh dari Alexanderplatz; pergi ke Museum Island, August str. meter Membeli-belah di SAR adalah sangat mudah. Perkara utama ialah lokasi ini, Prenzlauer Berg, penuh dengan kebebasan, percintaan dan seni... Jangan selalu melihat tempat dan tempat menarik serta tapak bersejarah yang menempatkan orang lain. Cari Kollwitzstr di peta Google. Pelukis wanita Jerman Kollwitz, pernah berada di sini Saya telah tinggal dan mengesyorkan pasar Sabtu di jalan ini, yang berhampiran hotel ini, melalui Saarbrücken str. ➡️belok kanan ➡️dan anda akan berada di sana, kopi, bar, restoran, galeri, segala-galanya, jalan kegemaran saya.
