Hotel Brussels dengan Sarapan

Check-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait. The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay. When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not. If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in. Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10). The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English. The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.

We departed from London to Belgium via Eurostar. It was about 20 minutes walking distance from Eurostar Station to Bedford Hotel. Further, lot of eateries restaurants and cafe, carrefour and Grand Place all within walking distance of 10 minutes. We joined 2 day tours to Ghent & Brugge and Luxembourg. The meeting point is about 18 minutes walks. Overall the hotel is very convenient and staff are very welcome and friendly. Will stay again should we have come to Belgium again as this hotel was higher recommended by my daughter who stayed here with friends before. We stayed here for 4 nights before departing to Amsterdam.

It is a new hotel next to Brussels-Midi station. The decor is very modern. The staffs are super friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed it. They have a small cafe in the lobby and there are many place to hang out. There is also a small gym in the basement which is quite nice. Overall, it was a good stay.

The hotel is very beautiful, not the best experience however. The attitude of the front desk staff, especially the female manager, was not accommodating. I expected friendlier and more respectful attention from a hotel of this caliber. Both the morning and evening receptionists were quite intransigent. The room I booked was not what I requested, apparently due to availability issues. I had to ask them to push the twin beds together to make one, which took a while to accomplish. They only followed this request because my booking agency intervened and spoke to management; otherwise, it would have been impossible. The next day, I requested a late checkout but was told ”no.” The woman at the front desk argued that it was the busy weekend and tha my reasons were insufficient, claiming that since they had already fixed my room the day before (or that I could have just slept on the original setup), they wouldn't bend the rules. This dismissive narrative made my stay even more unpleasant! You urgently need to train your personnel to improve their customer service skills.

I have stayed here before as I really like the pool and the comfortable bed. The air con and black out curtains are very welcome. It's a stylish hotel. The shampoo etc were empty in the bathroom and the shower wasn't draining. Otherwise recommended

Hotel was clean, convenient. I love how big and spacious our room was and it had aircondition and a bath tub. It made us want to enjoy the hotel as well. The complementary was great. Will recommend

Lokasi: Sebenarnya, lokasinya agak jauh, dan ia masih jauh dari Manneken Pis. Ia adalah kira-kira 2.5 kilometer dan mengambil masa setengah jam untuk berjalan. Adalah disyorkan untuk menempah hotel berhampiran Dataran Brussels. Ia berada dalam jarak berjalan kaki dari jalan mewah. Selepas bas lapangan terbang No 12, anda perlu berpindah ke bas lain. Perkhidmatan: Selepas membayar deposit sebanyak 25 euro, meja depan sebenarnya adalah meja depan bar hotel. Saya tidak pernah mengesahkan bahawa ia adalah meja depan Hotel ini mempunyai gim. Terdapat air minuman dan epal hijau di gim, dan anda boleh masuk dengan meleret kad anda. Sarapan: Saya habiskan pada pukul 10. Tiada siapa yang mengambil berat tentang saya, jadi saya makan di sana. Tidak banyak jenis, tetapi saya akan mengesyorkan melangkau sarapan jika anda ingin tidur sehingga anda bangun secara semula jadi. Dan apa yang sangat dibesar-besarkan ialah kerana tirai telah diselak di kawasan sarapan pada pukul sepuluh, seorang lelaki kulit putih dan seorang lelaki kulit hitam mencuri sarapan di dalam (bukan penduduk). Lelaki kulit hitam itu membawa beg sekolahnya dan pergi, manakala lelaki putih terus mencuri. Saya mendaftar masuk pada hari Isnin, dan terdapat beberapa hotel dengan lebih daripada 500 yuan di lokasi yang lebih baik kemudian saya menempah awal, tetapi saya mengalami kerugian. Saya pada asalnya mahu Ctrip membatalkan, tetapi Ctrip enggan membenarkan saya membatalkan.

Facilities are old with smell in room and hall. Fitness is public one full of people and air quality is bad. Room bathroom is very small and lounge opening hours are short 16:00 to 20:00 and beverages and alcohol options are limited. Food in lounge is also very simple. Breakfast is quite good comparing to other services.

the staffs are nice and helpful, my room isn’t cleaned by housekeeper when i checked in and they helped me to change to another room immediately. but still cannot unsee the fact that the building is very old, the bathroom was kind of malfunctioning although the staff tried her best to deal with the problem. very close to the flixbus station if you are just staying for one to two nights, arrive and leave by flixbus it isn’t that bad

Plus: The room is really big. So is the bed. It is so big that makes me think as if it is king size bed to house politicians or prime minister from the 80s, 90s. There is heating both in the room and in the shower There is air con set in the room( but I didn't try to see if it works) This hotel is located less than 10 mins walk from Brussels north station Minus The room look really old. May be 90s, if not 80s. There is no carpet on the floor. It is really clean but it is really cold to step on. Bring your own slippers. The room is dim. And some lights were spoilt. Even if was told it is a non smoking room, the room has lingering smoking smell. Someone smoked in this room before. I told the front desk, he said he will check but when I return from the city , the smell is there still. The bathroom has some odd smell. May b smell of roaches, or roaches in the pipes. The shower curtain smell of mould and damp cloth/ damp laundry. The heating stop around 2am. May b there is max amount of heating one room could use. Make sure you time your heating usage carefully. The wall is really thin. You can hear when someone is around the lift, going towards their room or what next door is up to. I can hear everything happening outside, on the street, from police car n siren rushing up and down, to people wondering on the street, their conversation. I don't feel safe here. I can't relax and sleep. I don't like the paper cup given together with coffee and the place to brush teeth. May be the hotel suffer too often from being stolen . But that make the hotel rating dropping from 1star hotel to guest house. The toilet spoilt in the middle of the night and you can hear water flowing all night. Need to maneuver with the old school toilet pull button . I appreciate the effort they maintain it but personally I don't like it. unless you have really early bus or train to catch, and is on a shoe string budget then it is your choice.
