We had an absolutely incredible stay at Jiuzhai Yunshang! Before we even arrived at the property, their team reached out to ensure every detail of our trip was taken care of. The moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with such genuine warmth and hospitality. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and offer absolutely outstanding views of the stunning surrounding landscape. The level of service here is truly amazing—the staff went above and beyond to make sure our family enjoyed every single moment of our stay. What really sets this hotel apart are the wonderful additional activities they offer. After a long day of exploring and walking through the national park, being able to wind down with horseback riding, incense making, painting, and visiting the local village made for the most relaxing and memorable day. We highly recommend Jiuzhai Yunshang to anyone visiting the area. It was the perfect home base for our family, and we will definitely be back again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Qinghe Courtyard in Jiuzhaigou. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with a peaceful ambience that made our stay feel relaxing from the moment we arrived. The room was great, well maintained, and the hot spring was also a lovely highlight after a long day of travelling and sightseeing. What made this stay truly special was the staff. Every staff member we met had such a positive attitude and was genuinely kind, patient, and helpful. Although we spoke English and they mainly understood Chinese, they still took the time to use translation tools and communicate with us clearly. Their effort and hospitality made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. Breakfast was provided, and the hotel also offered a shuttle van service from the hotel to the Jiuzhaigou park entrance, which was extremely convenient. They also kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel before we went to the park. At the end of our visit, we asked if they could help arrange transportation back, and they offered to call a carpooling service for us at 60 yuan per person. Since we were a group of three, this was very reasonable for a 90 km ride. The staff even picked up our bags and dropped them off at the park entrance for us, then waited until our carpool ride arrived. This level of service was far beyond what we expected and made our trip so much smoother. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay. Qinghe Courtyard provided excellent service, great facilities, a clean and comfortable room, and a warm atmosphere. Most importantly, the staff were amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou.

I am not the type of person who usually leaves a review unless I am really impressed. Also, my mom, who traveled and stayed with me at this hotel, told me to give this place a good review and a 5-star rating because of the great experience we had. Even before we arrived, I contacted the hotel to make sure which type of room would fit all of us, and to ask about the weather and what clothes and items we should prepare. We also asked them to make sure that the taxi driver who picked us up from the station was safe and had a work permit. All of our messages were replied to within seconds or minutes. During our stay, they provided a lot of free mineral water bottles, which was very important for us, so we never ran out of water. They also provided very good and complete amenities. On the first night, the floor heater in our room was not working, so they gave us an additional large heater, which made the room very warm and comfortable. They also provided drop off and pick up service to the Jiuzhaigou entrance, which really helped us, so we didn’t need to walk about 800 meters to 1 km in below-zero temperatures. They even helped us book a taxi when we were going back to the station. Although they missed our request for a bigger car (since there were four of us with big luggage), I understand that it was difficult to find that kind of car at that time. The driver who took us — I’m not sure, who he is, but I think he is the boss (since the staff, asked lots of questions to him)— could speak English quite well and understood us even though we spoke broken Chinese. They also gave us a late check out at 3pm Overall, it was a very pleasant experience staying here. They treated us not just as guests or customers, but really cared about making sure we had the best experience while visiting Jiuzhaigou. The only downside of this hotel is that the bathroom is a bit small and there are no hooks to hang towels or clothes. However, this was not a big issue for us at all. I highly recommend everyone to book this hotel.

I give full scores to Conrad Jiuzhaigou after a satisfying getaway. The hotel features comprehensive amenities: spacious guest rooms with complete smart home equipment, a tidy indoor swimming pool, well-equipped fitness center and relaxing spa facilities blending ******* styles. Every public area is neatly decorated and impeccably maintained. All staff provide warm and sincere service, and I single out Vincent for his meticulous, proactive help during my entire stay. The breakfast buffet is plentiful ranging from Western staples to distinctive local ******* cuisines. Surrounded by stunning natural scenery, the resort fully lives up to its premium brand, and I highly recommend it

As a newly established boutique homestay-style hotel, it is clear that the management is making a sincere effort to provide good service. The hotel’s renovation and room interiors are modern, clean, and well-maintained. However, there are several significant issues that would make me hesitant to recommend this property to other travelers. 1. Severe Smoke Issue from Adjacent Residential Property There is a local residential house located immediately next to the hotel. Throughout the day, the residents appear to be cooking or boiling large pots of water and soup using wood-fired stoves (柴火). Unfortunately, this activity takes place directly below our room window. As a result, not only is there effectively no view from the room, but we were also forced to keep the windows completely closed at all times to prevent heavy smoke from entering. The situation was further aggravated by the fact that the hotel did not operate the central air-conditioning system, presumably because the outdoor temperature was relatively cool. Consequently, fresh air circulation in the room was limited. Jiuzhaigou is renowned for its clean mountain air, yet whenever we were in the room, we could smell and breathe in wood smoke, which significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. 2. Smoking Permitted in Public Areas Guests were allowed to smoke in the Level 1 public areas, including parts of the dining area. While I understand that this may still be relatively common in some parts of China, it created an uncomfortable environment, especially for families traveling with young children. A smoke-free dining and common area would greatly improve the guest experience. 3. Room Cleanliness Concerns Compared with the issues above, this may seem relatively minor. Amazing location, impeccable service. Warm greetings as you enter, I was informed by the kind staff my room was upgraded to the 5th floor with an amazing view. There's quite a few dining options inside and outside the hotel all within walking distance. Pros: - Clean room and ammenities - Amazing views - Quiet area - Huge variety of options for breakfast buffet - Timely and kind service from staff - Modern building with incorporation of local ******* design and culture Cons: - Quite far to travel to location (2hrs train from Chengdu to Huang Long Jiu Zhai station, 1hr+ car ride to hotel) - Limited English skills, most staff prefer to communicate in Mandarin

A very peaceful stay with a beautiful view. Breakfast is included, which is a nice bonus. After check-in, the staff will drive you to your room by car since it’s a bit far from the main reception. If you need transport or a personal driver to travel around, you can also request it from the hotel before heading to Jiuzhaigou — they will provide a trusted contact so you’ll feel more secure. Overall, everything was good and perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway.
