Not suitable for business travelers due to the poor internet, which won't reliably allow a page to load. I ended up tethering my phone. However for $30 a night the hotel is a bargain and would be my goto value Jakarta hotel if they could sort the internet out. Note that the desk had an ethernet port with a phenomenal dl speed of 40-50mbs, but upload was only 0.01 which made it unusable. At night the noise from a nearby nightclub was loud. Room had a safe and a fridge. Bed was king sized.

Its a pod. Ideal for solo. There are many workers when I arrived cleaning (quietly, discreetly and professionally), cleaning the toilets, showers, pods etc.... So the its super clean and fresh. I also had to get to Gambir Station to catcg a train. Tried hailling a transport from the roadside was quoted a higher tourist price. Got back to Bobobox, received help from Denny and Joe, who so kindly help called and arranged a transport for me at a fair price at peak hour 5:30pm. Joe, the Bobobox staff even accompanied me down to the street and waited for the transport to arrive and instructed the driver my destination and that I am going to take a train and needs to arrived at a specified time. We stayed at room 807. Plus points-water pressure is great! Televison channel is okay. Toilet has no bidet-I was shocked and upset. Eateries are plenty. Tanah Abang grosir is less than 600metre. Some facilities in room quite rundown. There were ants at the sink in the bathroom.

Got the hotel when most hotel in Jakarta are occupied, old hotel but enough clean and provide traditional food in the resto. You can choose the hotel but please don’t complain the physical building, as long as you enjoy and always thankful then this hotel is good for you!

Positive Point: 1. Location very strategic 2. Cleanliness very excellent 3. Amenities completed 4. Water Heater working Negative Point: 1. AC Button not working, so its only has Cool option causes room to cold for me. Overall, very good hotel on strategic location.
