I've stayed at past Sonesta's in NJ. So I knew this would be a great option for myself and my BF to stay while we had a short visit to Tucson to visit family. The hotel was only 6 miles away from where my family was staying so that made it a logical choice. The hotel room was nice, and I wished we stayed longer, the room was clean, bed was comfortable. I opted for a room with a fireplace which was an extra charge, but I didn't realize that I would have to provide the wood, or purchase it for an additional charge. The bathroom was a bit tight, perhaps pocket doors would have been a better choice. The free breakfast might have been good, if I had gone when it first opened. By the time I arrived at 8am on Sat, the hot stuff was cold and choices were limited (this I blame on myself). As for noise levels, there was none, it was a nice quite experience for the two nights we stayed. Hotel was situated near a lot of restaurants as well. I will stay here again, just not choose a room with a fireplace.

Everything was great except for a barking dog in a room close by, some children running in the halls, and someone pounding on their door to be let in because they forgot their card key, this was not the staffs fault, just people not being respectful of others. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful, even the cleaning staff was friendly. The breakfast food was very good, prepared hot with the cook maintaining the food and keeping it clean. The rooms were very clean and they tidied up the room and cleaned the bathroom and brought in all clean towels and new toiletries. When we next visit Tucson, I will use this hotel again. There was a fitness room that had everything that most people would want, but we were too tired to use it.

This was the perfect end of my trip to Arizona for a 5 am flight the next morning out of Tuscon. Check-in staff were helpful and courteous. The hotel has a bar as well as a restaurant with a limited menu which just hit the spot. The bathroom was my dream bathroom. Due to a knee replacement that has not turned out as expected and both hips replaced, the walk in accessible shower with all the grab bars is what I would love to have in my house. And the mattress --- I would love to know the brand as it was nice and firm with no dips. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I were in the area.

The room is ok with a park view and therefore rather quiet. However the breakfast needs some improvement. Food hasn’t been refilled as often and the waffle machine and yoghurt machine are not functioning well!

PPengguna TetamuDina is such a gem and makes you feel so welcome. We chose the Atanacia Room for direct pool access. Enjoyed a quiet night poolside with ample outdoor lighting. The pool and outside seating areas are beautifully maintained. A little backyard oasis -- located in a very nice Tucson neighborhood. The room itself was very clean with rustic charm and turquoise hues. Not exactly shiny or modern if that is your preference. I hope they freshen up the design/decor in that room a bit someday. Breakfast was perfect as were the baked goods available in the kitchen for guests to help themselves to whenever. Thank you for a special stay.

This caused the door to jam & not unlock. We called the front desk to let them we had a flight to catch. Maintenance was quick to get us out. Overall nice stay:).

JjenwhiteMy husband and I had a great stay. Rooms are very clean. They check on you when you check in and get in your room to make sure you are satisfied with your room. The only down fall we didn't like is you have to pay for parking 😒. But other then that we had a great time anyways.

I booked my room online at a great rate when I arrived the hotel looked a bit dated. I drove around the lot in search of the office I found it connected to Denny's which was odd. The lobby was full of construction workers waiting to check in. The gal at the desk was efficient getting each of them on their way with a smile. She checked me in and I located my room. To my surprise she had placed me on the opposite side of the hotel from the men. The room was clean but nothing too special no fridge or microwave. The beds were comfortable and most important the bathroom was immaculate. I did have to ask for more towels as it only had two in the room just a minor inconvenience. I called the desk to inquire about local Mexican food. The lady suggested Little Mexico. Which was amazing!! Red roof was great for a short two day trip but if you are staying for more than a couple days I would request a room with more amenities. All in all the staff was friendly price was great. I would stay again

NNicole JThis was an awesome find in the desert ️ close to down down and the 4th ave district. Angela at the front desk was an absolute gem, she is a real keeper. The courtyard area was a nice touch and the hot tub was wonderful. If we ever find ourselves back in Tucson we will try this spot again.

PPengguna TetamuWonderful location near the airport. The room was very spacious and quite comfortable. The pool is heat year round and was very nice to have available. The on site restaurant breakfast buffet was decent enough for the price. Complimentary cookies upon check-in was also a nice touch. Locked myself out of the room and it was not a hassle to get back in. Also, grabbing sna KS from the self serve kiosk and billing them to the room before swimming was super convenient.

This location should be no more that $60 per night. Other than that there was parking for truck and trailer and everything was still there in the morning.

This is truly a 1 star hotel. It is dirty and falling apart. The key fobs deactivate easily, and in fact our key fob device on the door broke and locked us out late at night. The service staff were annoyed to have to help us get a new room, never offered to help us move our stuff or apologize and we waited hours to get this awful situation settled. Then the smoke alarm in the new room chirped all night. In the AM, we woke up to a broken shower which did not get fixed for hours. There was rude service people in the lobby that were totally unapologetic, unsympathetic and never offered anything to help us or make our experience better than awful. Our keys were deactivated over and over the next day as well. The freeway noise kept us up at night. You’ll regret booking this hotel so please avoid at all costs!
