"The hotel was in good condition and staff was friendly. The food was ok but nothing special. We ordered room service and everything was ok except for the ice cream + fried bananas. You would think these would be separated so the ice cream doesn’t melt. This can be an example of the stay. The staff has the proper attitude and intentions, but maybe there is some management staff that could really improve the property to the next level. Like clearing plates from tables during breakfast, preparing the table when people have finished eating, a small piece of blue plastic in the yogurt (bag of yogurt likely torn by hand instead of cut by scissors), and things like these smaller examples. The Chinese new year dinner was a nice experience, but the food was average. The overall visit was great. Great views, good pool for kids, and the location was away from the beach and main beach road so it was nice and quiet. The rooftop bar was also great, with nice views."

"I stayed in the villa for 3 nights, and I quite enjoyed it. I am impressed with the communications with the hotel. I established the comm channel with wechat soon after I booked the accommodation. My flight was scheduled to arrive quite late in the evening so it would be really late when I got to the airport. But the hotel reassured that someone would wait for me at the reception. When I arrived, they help me to carry luggages to my villa. The villas were built on a hill and mine was near the top. During my stay, I visited Wat Chalong (a Buddhist temple), went to see Bangla Boxing Stadium for a Thai boxing show, joined a yatch tour to other islands, and went for a 1/2 day elephant exprience. The hotel served well as the base for the activities. From the patio of my villa, I could see the sea. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. Kata Beach is not far fom the villas. The villa does not server breakfast. There are some places nearby to serve breakfast. If I would visit Phuket again, I will book myself into a place that serves breakfast."

"It’s all about making people feel welcome and they missed that by a long shot.  Had a family room that’s a king bed and two twin beds and a living room area all in one space so works ok if with family but friends it a bit of a stretch as there is no privacy if you need that.  Room was clean and up to date, beds were hard if you like that it is what it is.  The big concern I had was room overlooked bar and main rood on 6th floor and was happy that they killed the bar music before midnight so that was not an issue.  Pool water due to design of building  was cold so it was not a relaxing time in the water and it was hot outside and it was still to cold. Service was incredibly slow to a painful point.  And when checking in allow for 30 to 60 min if not a long line. Food was okay at bar restaurant pizza seemed to be very popular  price like anything looking at beach and ocean will cost you a bit more.  If you’re looking for ice in your room that will be BT100,00 so they charge extra for the small things.  Value was just okay, think you could look right next door and find something a but more western friendly. "

"Nice resort, clean, good services and good breakfast selections. The location is on the very top of the mountain, the last ~100meters is so steep that some small grab cars can’t even get up to the hotel. Hotel shuttles go to Patong beach 4 times a day. If you’d only stay in hotel enjoying the pool, this is a good place. Or if you’d like to visit other places in Phuket, think it twice."

"It is a truly wonderful hotel, beautifully blending Phuket cultures with modernity, with a character. Our room was spotlessly clean, thanks to Rayya who cleaned our room the last 4 days, with heart. Breakfast was amazing. And many thanks to Yeam who helped us book all the taxi and massage, making sure everything was smooth. The swimming pool was great too, where you can eat and swim at the bar all day long. This is not just another luxury hotel, this is a luxury hotel with a real local touch and hospitality. Highly recommend if you want to have a mental reset!"

"My wife and I had the most amazing time at the Surin Phuket. Everything from the room to the food to the service was impressive and impeccable. Although the location is relatively remote compared to all the other things in Phuket, after going to experience all those things it makes you appreciate the serenity that the hotel offers. They make you feel at home and comfortable at the place. The stairs to everywhere can be a little debilitating, but I think everything else more than makes up for that. Shout outs to some specific personnel: we really want to thank Andrew Pape, the Executive Assistant Manager, who consistently went out out of his way to check on us almost every day we were at the hotel, have great conversations, and was super accommodating to help with any issues we had. We also really want to thank Meen Lim, one of the staff who went above and beyond to help get things for us for my wife’s birthday, and was super personable and invested in us our entire stay. Because of them and the work of the entire staff, we would recommend this place to anybody who wants a relaxing luxury experience."

"I’m out of words with this one! Was supposed to be the Grand romantic stay of our honeymoon here but from the check-in, everything changed. I contacted the hotel 2 days earlier to book in my boat transfer for 2pm. On the day, We arrived early to a crowded lounge with no places to sit down and had our bags tagged with 14:00 on them, comes the boat and somehow people get on and no one says anything until I ask one of the staff and she simply goes “ Oh because safety, you have to wait for the next one in 10 minutes”. That was a lie and it would’ve meant a lot not being lied to in order to relax cuz it did anything but that. We ended up on a boat finally at 3pm. We checked in to a beautiful room and the host “Don” was very helpful getting to the room and explaining surrounding. He was also nice to give us a late check out the next day. At night, we attempted the 3 restaurants they had were “It’s everything” restaurant told us “Here is buffet only l, if you want a la cart go to the Italian restaurant”. So we went down to “Eat” restaurant and studied the menu for about 20 mins, my wife went up to the cooking station and asked if she can order and they told her we’ll come to the table. We sat there for another 6 mins and then decided to leave as we couldn’t really understand what’s happening. A lady came following us saying “I’m ready to take your order now” which we appreciated but was a bit late for that. Same thing happened in the Italian restaurant as I memorized the menu but no service to even tell you if I should keep waiting seated or just go up and order. Finally we went back to the room and ordered room dining and thank god that worked. The next day breakfast came to even add the shock “If you can believe there’s more”. A small restaurant with few stations to a massive crowd that was even hard to move around. At one point I was just standing and waiting the coffee machine for someone to come and fill water and milk and I hoped if I knew where they were, I would’ve done it myself and saved us all the wait. In honesty I was hungry but I took what I can get between the crowd and had a small plate as seen in photos just to get done with this wild experience. I’m not really sure what went wrong, I’m left to think maybe it was because I booked through a third-party agent l, or maybe they’re busy or understaffed or even more wildly, maybe it’s my looks and color! I don’t know it could be anything to be fair, the one thing it can’t be is calling anything but the room a 5-Star hotel / Experience and maybe that’s what it is actually. Just a beautiful cosy room is all they can provide for a 1 night @ $625 AUD mark. So if that’s your thing, fair you might enjoy it but I’ll also tell you that our other 3 previous stays in Phuket were all half the price of this and lightning years exceeding the service and quality of this."

"The resort is so beautiful , very traditional Thai in style and you are surrounded by Jungle with Ocean views it is stunning you just can’t beat it . The staff are absolutely incredible so kind and friendly every single one would great you with a smile whenever they saw you . "We had an amazing stay at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket . The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning aesthetics and well-maintained grounds that make it feel like a tropical paradise. The pools were fantastic, and the slides were great fun, making them perfect for both adults and children. One of the highlights of our stay was the buffet breakfast. There was an excellent variety of food available every morning, with plenty of choices to suit everyone. The quality and selection were outstanding. A special mention goes to Eddie from the concierge team. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always greeting us with a smile and taking the time to chat with us. His friendly attitude and willingness to assist made a real difference to our experience. Eddie is a genuine asset to the company and helped make our stay even more memorable.
