Cari Hotel 2-Star di Phuket

My initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later). But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform. Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this. A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq ! Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste. Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine. Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

********* the Burmese woman made the stay unpleasant and uncomfortable for myself and multiple other guests. @Owner, consider replacing this employee with a Thai person who has customer service skills. Promote someone in the group that comes in to cook breakfast and clean. Cleaning should be prioritized to a higher degree - the floors and bathrooms are cleaned once per day. There is black mold growing from standing water in the second floor bathroom. This place has potential to be great, but lack of management has it going downhill quick.

My first time staying at a deck dorm style.The manager was willing to come, and did check in for me in the middle of the night. Do the 200 Baht refundable deposit. Give me the towel. Informed me to the rule of no sandal/shoes at 2nd floor to maintain the floor kept clean. That is all you can see. Nice room, chill, no noise in the room, and other ”I am sleeping” rules. If you have an issue of not using sandals in the bathroom, then honestly you just need a hotel with a private room. Yeah, upper deck was scary. I dreamt of falling down 😪 Well, deck dorm style is not just for me. But a good experience here, and with 217 Baht (including tax) I paid, it is worth the money. This hotel provides breakfast too. Something I don't really expect 😁😁 They also give me a key gift over a checkout. For sure, I get my 200 Baht back.

Good location . Good price , had a good nights sleep but mattress is is a little hard . Would recommend

Hostel located in a good spot, with lots of food options and Old Town not too far away. Downsides: - Encountered multiple times when there’s no water while showering or using the tap which is very inconvenient. Not sure what’s the problem but it ought to be fixed - WiFi connection was intermittent at times, sometimes losing connection

Lokasi hotel baik - dekat dengan pasar, kafe dan kantin, farmasi. Terdapat perhentian di sekitar sudut dari tempat bas songthaew pergi ke pantai Patong, Kata, Karon. Kawasan bandar lama adalah 5 minit pada kadar yang santai. 24 jam ”7 eleven” terletak sejauh tiga minit berjalan kaki. Akses ke bilik hanya melalui tangga, tetapi ini dinasihatkan semasa membuat tempahan. Saya tinggal di tingkat 5, ia agak sukar. Hotel ini tidak sesuai untuk mereka yang tidak boleh naik ke tingkat yang tinggi dengan tangga - pengembara dengan bagasi besar, pengembara dalam usia dewasa atau dengan masalah muskuloskeletal. Bilik ini mempunyai pencahayaan tiruan yang sangat (!) lemah, dan adalah mustahil untuk membuka langsir, kerana pemandangan dari tingkap membawa terus ke tempat letak kereta berbumbung di seberang lorong. Hotel ini menyediakan botol air, peralatan mandian (syampu, bar sabun, topi mandi), yang diperbaharui setiap hari. Bilik ini mempunyai peti sejuk, peti keselamatan, penghawa dingin, cerek, gelas, sepasang teh. Bilik ini mempunyai katil yang besar. Bantal terlalu tinggi untuk saya, tetapi itu pendapat peribadi saya. Deposit sebanyak THB 500 diperlukan semasa daftar masuk, yang akan dikembalikan semasa daftar keluar. Kakitangannya responsif dan sedia membantu dengan sebarang pertanyaan yang anda ada. Penginapan itu bagus, tetapi saya tidak akan memilihnya lagi.

Staff look a bit shy and quiet. Booked a Family Room with 3 beds and got room 6 on 2nd floor next to the stairs. Direct beach and restaurant are at the back of the resort. At night they and resorts nearby have dinner tables so the beach is lit and lively. Early in the morning they don’t set up yet so it’s very good to walk, run and exercise there. They’re having a renovation. Room 6 had very strong paint smell. Water faucets are usable so they don’t change yet. Hose spray for toilet is on the right and you will twist your body to hang it on the left. Coffee making table, clothes cabinet and safe box are inside the bathroom with walls to separate. Drain hole is near the wall of the toilet so when we shower, the toilet room is wet too. Wall mount shower gel and shampoo. Bring your tooth brush set as most places in Thailand don’t give. Water drains slow a bit but not clogged. Other rooms on ground floor are being renovated also. It’s a small resort in the shape of a town house and they have a small lane to walk to the beach. Next to that lane are 3 or 4 guest rooms on ground floor. If you need the best room, it’s on 2nd floor at the end and you have 2 large beds, a separate large room with microwave, table with 4 chairs at the balcony overlooking the beach. Other guests can walk to this balcony too. View is the sea and the roof of the beach front restaurant. Room 6 has a table & 2 chairs outside the room so when you smoke and eat, expect to see other guests walking pass. Tops convenience store is on the other side of the street. Many shops, restaurants and food stalls on this street. The resort is at the end of this small beach town & next to the National Park. Walking about 30 minutes towards the park direction, we saw a tiny coral islet and we crossed the coral underwater way from main beach to that islet. Wear aqua shoes as it’s impossible to walk with bare feet. Water level is around waist line. The main beach has a ***** of sand running towards that tiny islet and the other side has high sand. Very beautiful sunset. If you want to do that, go before 4pm because when it’s dark (after 6pm, mid October), there is almost no light in that zone and water starts to raise higher which means it’s more difficult to walk back from the tiny islet. The walk is short with strong waves. Water is warm.

As I extended my stay at this hotel, I would like to add a few comments to my previous review, which you can find here on Trip.com. My first review gives a more detailed impression of the room and the hotel overall. During the extended stay, there was renovation work in the room next to mine. The door was often left open, the area looked quite dirty, and there was noticeable noise from the workers talking and working, which made the stay less comfortable. I also mentioned at the reception that my birthday would take place during my stay. While I did not expect anything special, even a small symbolic gesture would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment, which felt like a lack of attention to returning guests.

Located between two bars, the door has the Sundiva logo on it to help guide you. I think most people who come to Sundiva have trouble finding it because of its small entrance, but it gets wider once you go inside. Great place overall!

Great. I like it. The bed is nice. The hostel had a breakfast for me, but I got up very late and forgot it. Next time if i gona stay in phuket town, I’ll definitely choose it again without doubt.
