If you’re heading to Phuket and looking for a relaxing hillside escape, Channalai Hillside Resort is such a great choice. From the moment I arrived, the service was top tier. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the whole check-in process smooth and stress-free. I was even allowed an early check-in (depending on availability), which was a huge plus after a long journey. They also welcomed me with a refreshing drink and ice cream — honestly perfect for the hot sunny weather in Phuket. Small touches like this really made the stay feel extra special. The resort itself has a calm, laid-back vibe with beautiful surroundings, making it a great place to unwind and recharge. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay with excellent hospitality. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Phuket and want something peaceful yet convenient. 🤍🌿

Except for the location being a 20-minute walk to Bangla Road, the hotel was excellent, with great facilities and cleanliness. Worth the stay, had rich breakfast and a cheap restaurant next to the hotel. Recommend

Overall, it was a very good stay. Orn was nice and accommodating and even helped move me to a higher floor the next day. Berna from the restaurant was also friendly and took the time to chat, which was really nice. The room was refreshed while I was out during the day, which was great, but it would’ve been helpful to be informed beforehand since my personal belongings were left around. Just a small note — the bathrobe wasn’t set up initially, and only two pillows were provided for a room meant for two guests, so I had to request extra pillows.

Amazing hotel in a fantastic location, just a short walk from Kata Beach and the night market! The swimming pool is excellent, with plenty of floaties and balls available for guests to enjoy. At night, the trees around the property light up beautifully, creating a lovely atmosphere that’s especially enjoyable from the balcony. The only minor downside is that some rooms are located quite far from the reception, so it can be a bit of a walk when entering or leaving the hotel. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel is truly reasonably priced compared to other hotels, has a great atmosphere, and the service is excellent. The breakfast is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. There's a pool and a gym, and all the facilities are clean and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. Furthermore, I was happy that I could use the hotel's showers after spending time on the beach and even after checking out. I was truly impressed by the hotel's hospitality. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is an excellent choice for families with children. It features an amazing pool and offers a wide range of activities that will keep kids entertained throughout the stay. Surin Beach is stunning, with its crystal-clear water and relaxing atmosphere, making it one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit farther from Phuket’s main attractions and nightlife. However, if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway where your family can relax while your kids have plenty of fun, this hotel is a fantastic choice.

This hotel is in a beautiful location staff so friendly but needs a little bit of repair work doing damage decking round the sun rise viewing area. Would definitely recommend for relaxing trip and some snorkelling the pool area is breathtaking

The hotel is nice, secluded: there’s nothing much around it, which can be a good or a bad thing. I loved the private sandy beach, now it’s high season, and yet there were maximum 10 people at a time. So it feels all for yourself. I got upgraded and stayed in a little house with private pool and exit to the beach. Thanks for that. BUT there were 3 things I didn’t like: 1. noise, I don’t know, probably air conditioning or pool cleaning machine of A NEIGHBOR HOUSE, not even mine. In my room the AC and the fridge were also loud, but I turned them off. Yet I could not turn off the neighbor’s ones. At night it was hard to sleep because of that sound. 2. the pool cleaning — mine didn’t have that. The water there is still , was not changes next day, and I am not sure if was changed before I arrived 🤷♀️ In the neighbor pool I can see the water is always floats and changes, in mine not. 3. Every time I bought something and wanted to pay with my card, I had to go to reception. Every meal, every cocktail. That was disturbing. It was my last day of my holiday and I was short on cash. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem to pay by card, I could do it. But every time I had to climb 7 staircases to do it.

Semua orang yang datang selepas kami telah makan, dan kami belum makan lagi. Naik, pantai tidak begitu cantik, dan terdapat banyak batu di dalam air. Saya cadangkan anda membeli kasut pantai, jika tidak, kaki anda akan mudah dicucuk. Bayaran bilik agak tinggi, tiada sikat, dan syampu dan gel mandian sangat lemah. Saya cadangkan anda membawa sebotol anda sendiri. , rambut saya gugur seperti gila selepas mencuci. Oleh kerana lokasi terlalu jauh, ia tidak digalakkan untuk tinggal lama kerana tiada apa-apa di sekeliling.Saya cuma suka tinggal di hotel.Orang yang tidak mahu bergerak ke mana-mana boleh keluar dan tinggal. Wifi tidak berfungsi, jadi saya tidak dapat menyambung ke sana.

Stay was ok. However got last room , which was a bit smelly and had to request for a change. Afterwards all was ok Good service, good breakfast
